The Olympic site was built by Eastern Europeans, while our own workers who went for jobs there were turned away. Much like the NHS, I know nurses who are now working in New Zealand and Canada because they could not get a job in this country. When Brits go abroad they work in the country where they reside, they are not known for getting involved in pushing the rate of crime through the roof, they are not known for getting as much benefits as they can out of that country, they are not known for being a burden. I am Polish Contractor ( we are installing solar panels and heating systems). I employ 10 people where 6 ( 1 Scottish) of them are English, 1 German and 3 Polish. English workers work as good as Polish

After years of experience I can say worker's hard work depends on his reward and even basic salary in UK is great for polish worker in comparison to mother country so they do their best to keep it up.
