The demo is just a little bit harder then the actual game.

first of all. You can upgrade your weapon, making your plasma cutter shoot of limbs in 1 shot. Also, you learn how to use the surrounding, using the explosive cans and don't stand in the middel of a group.

Use stasis to your advantage.

remember play this demo like a longtime ago and I never beaten it cause I thought it was to hard at the time so I gave up and never got it. 4 years later I watching syfy and the movie dead space downfall is on and man it was such a good movie and it made me remember the game that I gave up on. Along the same lines. I actually thought it was easy. I beat it on impossible on my first try without a death (save MAYBE 1 or 2 I'm forgetting) I'm not bragging, I'm just saying that this game isn't for everyone. I personally think it's challenging, but not frustrating or impossible. I died alot on my FIRST normal playthrough when I first got the game, but I got the hang pretty fast. You should rent or try it somewhere, it's fun.

this game is definetly a great survival horror. i could not beat the demo first try due to the intense need to survive i frgt all about healing and reloading which ended up being my downfall XD and having to switch back and forth between verticle and horizontal shots is challenging.

They should have just used the first level. SPOILERS or not. The demo isn't a very good starting section IMO and the cutesy end with the Regenerator/"Hunter" isn't amusing.

I'll just have to skip the demo and rent the real deal.

yes but that level was at the point which you should have gotten the stasis and kenesis modules, and had all weapons. and the regenerator was a great way to end the demo
