  • What kind of cards are those?

  • Watch it upside down :)

  • i think it would be better if you'd do the tutorials from your view, its good but i kidnnda get confused which hand points where and stuff :D

  • Gosh! I've been trying to do flourishes for months! and I really can't do them D; Any advice? :)

  • ah, i can do it but not that fast. :(

  • What cards are you useing mate?

  • @Tristen2323

Those are Tally-Ho Vipers -Circle backs. They sell em on Ellusionist. But they are a chunk of change.. maybe worth it. Depends on your style and your routine

  • Oh man i remember when i first started flourishing, i found this flourish and thought it was so fast and impossible. Now it's been like 16 months. Good times.

  • isn't it amazing? Our perception of the difficulty of things correlates so perfectly with our knowledge and experience of it.

I love it. It's what got me into magic. The learning process

  • Yes indeed the learning process part of flourishing and even magic is pretty fun.

  • is that a DARE shirt

  • @coolroho14 Why of course!

  • XCManipulator is a girl?!!!! sorry if that was rude...

  • Yes, she is, but she's also a great giving out her creative tutorials in which we should all be proud of.

  • so she makes up all those flourishes?

  • As far as I know, maybe she is inspired by Dan and Dave Bucks and other famous artists. The best is to ask her through personal message.

  • im working on a cut called wannabesybil its pretty badass

  • awesome!

post a vid of it if you can

doesn't have to be a tut. I just want to see it

  • dude, this tutorial is badass, it took me a while because im not the kind of person who does flourishes but im learning because they are so badass!!! awersome vid. keep making more

  • thanks. Keep it up.

Like I think I said. I'm more of a magic guy.

But i do like showing off to others than I can do things with cards that make their heads spin

    both visible and invisibly

  • great!!!!!!!!!!

  • thx it was a good tutorial and ive been looking for syble cuts

    thx

  • nice tutorial

  • nobody is supposed to know this but those card and a couple of other have UV500 AIR FLOW FINISH which means that they glow in the dark under a black light and theY handle better and smoother than normal AIR CUSHION CARDs!!!!!! =D

  • what do you mean nobody 's suposed to know... it's on their website isn't it?

And I didn't know it made them glow in blacklight. I'll have to check that out.

  • see u didnt kno at first which means nobody is supposed to know it like the fine print of contracts its there but nobody reads it.

  • I like those fan backs mine came in yesterday!

  • aren't they nice?

I like the feel of em for sure

  • hey awesome cut and well taught! i'm a flourish sceptic but you might just have converted me gonna have to learn this!

I did read comments that questioned the complete deck retention element of this cut but at 4:08 when u break off the 4th packet u say it doesn't matter if you get it from the top or bottom but you have to take the packet from the bottom as you do!

regardless excellent cut excellent tutorial! thank you!

  • wow thanks for figuring that out.

And thanks. This is why I even learn flourishes. To use them in magic.

I particularly like using this in Emerge Triumphant which is pretty much triumph only you retain the deck order and reveal it at the end

  • Dude, I think your cuts and proformances are great! Thanks for this tutorial, I'm working on speed now.

  • THANKS YOU OWN YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE I REALLY UNDERSTAND SYBIL FROM , keep this up :D

    Really reallyyyy good.

  • awesome 5/5

  • i guess i owe this guy an apology.,. hehehe

i didn't figure soon that this cut is a deck retention. but at 4:08 you said we can get some packet at the top or at the bottom it doesn't matter.

    so my apology. thanks

  • man i got it in about an hour although im quite messy when it comes to the first cardini then flipping the deck then the second cardini and spinning the deck and so on.

  • wow pretty cool cut i know the sybil but not the nitroze gotta learn this.

  • my apology for the bad video. thanks

  • deck retention means. the cards are exactly the same arrangement before and after the cut. right???

i did this couple of times and exactly the same as this video. but the cards are rearranged after the cut, in the middle of the deck to be exact.

yes it is a false cut both top card and bottom card.

  • it is a complete retention

perhaps I did a bad job teaching it

but It works as a complete retention for me every time.

  • for me it doesn't work. i don't know why but i tried it couple of times slowly and surely but nothing. i even taped my old deck to see if it is a deck retention but it wasn't (i think for me) i don't know. perhaps i will post video response and you could correct me if i do it wrong tnx men.

  • ok i think I figure out your problem.

when you first shove a packet into the closing cardini you're probably pushing the bottom of the two in the right hand in and turning it over instead of the top.

look more closely at like 1:35ish watch my 7 of clubs packet

  • i am sorry men but i didn't

i did exactly what the video said

perhaps i will just send you a video response about this and you could correct me thanks a lot men.

  • the nitroze looks cool , but charlie did a good mix of them both, they look better now and a little more eye-stunning , thanks for the cut again

  • thanks!

  • a bad job?

dude u were the only person i understood from and thanks to u im doing a video and posting it on youtube, the nitro sybil rocks and everytime i do it they think its accually shuffled, u rock

  • Hahah thanks

And I know I love Vipers. I almost never use them cause I don't want them to get old.

  • Yeah :) They're the best, I've had the same packet for ages and it's in an aluminium card case (*cough* sad *cough*).

They're a lot cheaper than I remember though, long time since I bought any.

  • my vipers are really old :( watch my vid about my self made xcm(its also full deck retention).
