Really good guide - does it not help to use the deposit box to get essence? I imagine it's quicker when you're banking just for essence (not for super energies, etc) but in that case you'd have to have ess both in the GE and the bank...

Anyways, here are some pointers thatyll help out some ppl

-if your pouches degrade, dont run to the abyss. Npc contact the dark mage and youll get them repaired on the spot.

-he was in a dutch world, so he couldnt mention this. Use a ZMI world. This is so you dont get hit all the time.

I found a more efficient way to repair the decayed pouches. Get some runes for the NPC Contact Spell, and talk to the Dark Mage. This way you don't even have to go to Edgeville.

Ourania teleport (the red salamander hunter spot, a bit north of Castlewars), no requirements although I recommend 50+ runecrafting for the pouch.

It crafts a number of random runes (1 per essence), with the "quality" (i.e. experience gained, and incidentally rune profit) increasing with your RC level. You get double xp per rune.
