I've played a really eclectic mix of characters, though my favourite alignment is Evil by far... As you say, playing without morals is fantastic. You haven't "lived" until you've pissed off the Matron Mother of the Drow, leading her to abduct you and imprison you naked in a cage to be vivisected by Drow children in a Biology class, break out, kill guards, kill the children, recover clothes, do a Han + Chewie to go unnoticed, get back to the Temple, kill the priests, kidnap her, like a boss. :D

@messed2552 D&D (the basis for all roleplaying games) Dexterity gives you: better use with long ranged weapons, higher AC, higher reflex, better thievery, better acrobatics, better dodging, etc. Basically, anything that a high dexterity would help you with in real life helps in you D&D.

Strength is for melee, athletics, etc; Wisdom goes with perception, holy spells, will, etc; Constitution gives you hp, endurance, fortitude, etc; Intelligence gives you knowledge checks, wizard spells, etc; Charisma gives you bonuses to diplomacy, bluff, intimidate, Sorcerer spells, etc.
