  • Its a no brainer given the nature of man and the sufferring of their attachments to want to put people through hell in the name of what? They will always ask the question did the ends ever justify the means of their desires? The government\peoples wills to do wrong or what they thought or think is right at the time is very costly and no soul will ever profit from!

  • Has anyone ever considered, I suppose they have? That there is and has been top secret mind experiments being tested on unsuspecting human subjects in society American or otherwise?

  • it was a painful experience to see that the maker of this video can't spell experience lol

  • It not difficult to define emotion at all. 1:28 Emotion: n. an affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like, is experienced, as distinguished from cognitive and volitional states of consciousness. See, that was easy.

  • Listening to music never makes me feel any emotion.

  • @Miikoong904 each period of your life, and even each precise moment, calls for a different kind of music. once you understand youself and your tastes better, you will learn to appreciate music (and the related emotions it gives you)

  • Most painful /depression

    Most pleasurable /excited

  • most painful is watching my friends being killed in Iraq. most pleasurable: seeing my girlfriend smiling

  • Having engaged in "nit-picking" on iissues of differentiating between emotion and its consequences in terms of stress mood and behaviour and her analogies with music I do agree entirely with her statements on the practice by psychiatrits and other professionals irresponsibly labelling our difficulties in coping with stress as a mental "disorder" She articulates her views extremely well. We can better benefit from advice enabling us to improve our coping skills than swallowing medication.

  • The speaker here points to features common to music and emotion. Music indeed reflects and compounds moods and sentiments and can, by deflecting attention from a threatening stimulus, play a significant role in alleviating stress Duration and volume flow from the intensity of feeling when stressed or excited and will vary from one individual to another whereas the intensity of a piece of music is. more often than not, predetermined in its composition.

  • Another unproven assumption, which clouds understanding emotion, is the assertion that there is no cognitive activity which precedes the physiological changes arising from a perception of threat or promise. Surely a determination that we interpret some aspect of the environment or our life situation as promising or threatening can only result from appraisal and judgement, however seemingly instantaneous or brief,. This is obviously a cognitive function., Otherwise it is an act of "magic" .

  • Saying that emotion is the least understood concept in psychology and difficult to define is a typical introduction by those who try to explain it. Why it is "difficult" is based on an invalid assumption that stress, excitation and responses associated with emotion are, in themselves, the "emotions" rather than consequentiall behaviours,, mood, stress or excitation induced by emotion. Emotion is no more than a disturbance of equilibrium induced by a perception of threat or promise..

  • Total fraud and betrayal from the person you love most.

  • Google: Martha Laura Granados Immigration Prostitute

    The VAWA Immigration Loop-hole:

If you are a woman, pretend to be in love with a US citizen or a Legal Resident, get him to marry you. As soon as you got the marriage certificate dial 211 and falsely accuse him of Domestic Violence and Rape and move to a VAWA shelter.

You will be on a fast-track for a Green-Card and US citizenship - all expenses paid for by the US tax payer and as a bonus you will be getting full social benefits.

  • my most painfull is to private to share, but the most pleasurable whas in a semi-lucid dream where I realised that I had the power to create, and decided to create the ultimate feeling of pure love within my heart. It was like the energy of a thousand stars going supernova in my heart sending love energy.

  • I don't think someone who doesn't have an intense everlasting psychological condition, should try to dissuade others about the validity mind disorders.... Go through it first, as I do everyday and then decide if it is normal.

  • Great Video

  • Sorry, can anyone tell me who is the author or editorial of the book she's holding at 01:21?

  • Most Painful - Finding out 2 of my friends committed suicide within a week of each other

Most Pleasurable - The way music can relieve me of all pain and all stress.

  • Social disorder is of social opinion...awesome. I love how you point out social impairment does not necessitate dysfunction. I am of the opinion that our minds are not seperate from our bodies and are subject to the laws of nature. This means that our minds never do what they're not supposed to do. This disrupts the concept of free will and society's conventional approach to justice or treatment for mental disorders, but what I think our friend here is alluding to is it NEEDS to be challenged.

  • If this video bores you why you listening to it and wasting your time to post your thoughts on here stupid.

  • Painful - best friend's death.

Pleasurable - Ummm, I'm not sure. Excellent exam results, I guess.

  • Painful- seeing the person you love get hurt or move on without you

Pleasurable- Love and hope... seeing the good in the world...

  • Painful - getting shot down by who I'm sure is the only guy I've ever actually loved.

Pleasurable - Heavy contact competitive TKD matches

  • Painful - getting shot in the ass with a rifle

    pleasuraable - Revenge

  • I clicked on this one, because I thought it was going to be a nice treatise on the emotional power of music. But apparently, she only has "Music" in the title here because she wanted to use it as an analogy for the remainder of her ramblings. And that's exactly what this one was ... pure rambling. She was all over the place in this video, stating nothing but the obvious.

  • painful = catching my dad watching porn when I was 8 years old

pleasurable = having tantric/ sacred sex with my boyfriend whom I love deeply

  • I clicked on this one, because I thought it was going to be a nice treatise on the emotional power of music. • @Musnacro I agree. These videos are disgusting. It is obviously heavily edited. Yet, she still sounds dumb because she has no point. It actually took 14 minutes to state the human contition exists.

  • 04:46 has the teeth of a children eating demon!

  • pleasent: some dream i dont remember

    Shitty: waking up

  • Most painful: listening to this woman talk so slowly and stating the obvious!

  • What a wonderfully exhilarating (for me) episode this. It’s good to know that other people have come to similar conclusions. In fact I was so excited that I subscribed.

  • The analogy with music refers to intensity but the intensity of stress or excitement can not always be equated with the initially perceived threat or promise. Rather it

is related to aspects of an individual's subsequent cognitive appraisal of the stimulus giving rise to arousal which includes previous experiences and monitoring of the stimulus. e.g. Initial anxiety in face of a situation can cause physiological changes but continued appraisal can raise resultant stress to

    terror.

  • Having admitted universal difficulty in defining emotion she then, like others,

proceeds to use terms such as "emotional pain" and "emotional distress" and refers to sadness, fear & other terminology as emotion. They may be such in lay usage but no attempt is made, in pursuing that course, to differentiate from moods, attitudes& behavior. All emotion induced states and behavior are rooted in a perception of threat or promise. Emotion is the physiological response and our awareness of it.

  • I just realized... She doesn't really know what's she's talking about :D

  • @stewy751 Good observation, Stew! Apparently, she has "Music" in the title of this video simply because she wanted to use it as an analogy for the remainder of her ramblings. And that's exactly what this one was ... pure rambling. She was all over the place here, wasn't she?

  • Or she might just be referencing good old crazy pavlovs conditioning.... Saying were conditioned to these emotions (grats on the subliminal btw) also a disorder is not meant to demean or "impair" someone. It's understood that emotion is situational.....

  • Any other psych on this offers a significant emotional process. If anything shes referencing socio culture psych in this video

  • Kinda wierd how she only references biological psych...

  • Psychology has moved on from that, emotions are more understood now.

  • losing my weed

    finding my weed

  • most painful: entire year of multiple things(dad sister school and friends)

most pleasurable: a whole two summers

  • Most painful had to do with a crush as an adolescent.

Most pleasurable (I think) was when I listened to Samuel Barber's Adagio in G Minor and started weeping. I was so perplexed at this that I told my mother, and she said that she played that piece all the time when she was pregnant with me. I guess it made an impression.

  • I've been diagnosed with ADD, Depression, Mania, Bi-polar, Borderline personality disorder, and finally generalized anxiety disorder. Each diagnosis was in turn denounced by the following doctor. As a result my body's been subjected to a dizzying spectrum of drugs and seemingly melted who I was. I finally put my foot down and under doctor supervision have halted all drugs. I am slowly accepting and discovering who I am and I've never been more content. Thank you for posting this encouraging vid

  • love, and love :) can't live with it can't live with out

  • Sad to say, my most painful was probably when my first serious girlfriend broke up with me. Since I overcame that, I think it's become very difficult for me to feel emotional pain.

My most pleasant is when I am playing music in my band. The way the rhythmic impulses stimulate my brain feels beyond incredible.

Most pleasurable - First Sexual Experience.

  • this lady smart and it does make sense to me what she is saying im gay and she is hot hahaha

  • this lady smart and it does make sense to me what she is saying

  • You asked what the worst and best emotional experiences are for the viewer. For me the worst were the deaths of my parents and the best is when I have fun with my children.

  • Emotions are better off being suppressed when trying to make decisions. In other words, it's ok to be happy or excited, but don't let those things, or things like anger or fear, drive your decision making.

  • Love is perfect. Humans make it imperfect. Human make anything good into something bad, it's human nature.

  • THERE ARE NEGATIVE GROUPS, GROUPS OF DARKNESS LIKE THE ILLUMINATI, BOHEMIAN GROVE, SKULL & BONES, BILDERBERG GROUP, MASONS... JUST LIKE THERE IS SATANIC CULTS AND WITCHCRAFT... THE ONLY POWER THEY HAVE OVER ANYBODY IS WHEN PEOPLE BELIEVE IN THEIR LIES, CONFUSION, DECEPTION, WHEN WE LET THEM MESS WITH OUR THOUGHTS, OUR FEELINGS, OUR BELIEFS... OTHERWISE THEY HAVE NOTHING OVER US... THEY HAVE NO POWER OVER ME FOR I BELONG TO THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH GOD JESUS CHRIST MY LORD AND SAVIOR. NO WORRIES

  • the most painful/pleasurable emotion I think I've ever had is procrastination.

  • I agree with everything except the gay thing. People are designed to reproduce and spread genes and that's why they feel emotions like love and sexual attraction... Not because this world was created so they can have fun and realize their pervert fantasies... There is no difference between gay and pedophile way of "love". Yes there is difference between child abuse and 2 adult morons fucking in wrong hole, but there is no difference between the way they feel their "love"... It is wrong way.

  • @AlmightyZEDANIUM I couldnt agree with you more sir. Very well

  • Emotions are not allowed in the new world order orwellian society

Music is the enemy of the antichrist

Music is the one item which the greeks loved the most and feared the most.

I believe there is music and that makes me a threat to the dictatorship

I am against vedic philosophy which thinks a human being can make merrit on their own.

I don't think this lady realises that in america you take what ever psychiatric lable they give you so that you can make enough money to survive.

  • Most Painful: Hopelessness!!!!

    Most Pleasurable: Imagination

  • There is nothing so mystifying to me than to watch a movie with someone else who displays absolutely no emotional reaction to the deeply poignant moments being depicted on the screen. That "it's just a movie" just doesn't suffice as an explanation. I don't know what would.

  • The most painful emotional experience I have ever had is when I realized at one point, that someone I trusted had betrayed my trust in a more fundamental way than to have also loved someone else. (I will not respond to any crazies who wish to argue with my comment. It is my comment and stands on its own as all comments must.)

  • when i passed the exams. when i lost some one i loved and people done wrongs to me and i could not do anything about, not always because of law or fear but of religious and ethical consciousness.

  • shut up lady...................... u bore me

  • I wont answer with a LOVE related one because people who find love painful aren't really seeing it for what it is.

Painful experience: I cut my scrotom

    Pleasure: First time i masturbated.

No lie, it's all true. but then how did these change the way i see life..

  • Painting and not onlly music....is emotion.

The subject, colors (or the ausence of it ),

shapes, selected details used on the

composition...all of it and much more

shows your state of mind and emotions

    as well.

The volume of emotion in painting can

be seeing on the colors ( or the ausence

or lack of it ) used and their

    intensity on the painting .

  • my most painful emotional memory was is so bad even trying to write it down makes me uneasy. But I will tell you. It , I'm sorry, I can't go through with it.

My most pleasureable emotional memory is giving and recieving love.

2.say who u love four times.

3put your hand on your nose.

    4.say his age 4 times.

5.copy and patse this to 4 other videos.

6.2morrow he will ask u out ,say he loves you or kiss u on the cheek

  • Painful: Disappointment (->Despair)

Pleasurable: Hope (-> Butterflys in my belly (that's a german expression for falling in love and being relly euphoric about it))

Sad part is: Experience tells me :

"Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment"

  • Begin with the premises that man is limited physically but unlimited mentally, and that God is neither, and that both man and God are lovable.

    God is Love.

    Godly love limits choice.

    Godly choices expand happiness.

God wants man to be happy.

Love God and do what you will.

Dr. Viktor Frankl found he could take a stand against his maximized limitedness in Auschwitz because he chose to find meaning in suffering, and refused to accept his fate as permanently limited or known by any man.

  • You need to learn how to get to the point and stop smacking before you turn up the volume on my anger , smack... anxiety smack.... and i smack.... go all mental on ya.

  • Pleasure, I have a fear of THAT would and other P words =0

  • you're boring

  • painful emotionail thinking my life is going down the drain

pleasurable: geting high and enjoying life lol

  • My most painful experience (recently) is reading the word "experiance" in your intro. If you really want people to believe you are some sort of expert you might want to consider vetting your spelling.

  • painful: thinking my father was dying when I was 8. Pleasureable: the birth of my daughter

  • There's more truth in questions than in answers.

  • lololololol, i wonder who selected the images to associate with the things she is saying? All these serene images of white women, and the minute you wanna portray rage and violence, slip a black man in there. niccceeeee.. bytch!

  • so people stay together to avoid a painful penalty? That's a pretty lame reason to stay together. In other words: this is bullcrap!

  • Vry well done.

  • This women's mouth never closes

  • most painfull, is when something wich is wrong get my attantion, but i realise there is little i can do to change things.

most pleasurable is when i think i made something better.

i have a question also (if you have the time to read the comments):

would you like to be trappped in the happy state of emotion? do you think it is possible? not just by humans. i think that it is possible to reach (though some modifications might be necessary, [not sure])

  • music isn't all emotion :-) i love music.

  • Relativism and propaganda, that's what this videos are.

  • Relativism.

  • spell all the questions you ask correctly

  • The most pleasurable feeling i've ever experienced was when i felt in love..

The most painfull was when i lost my first/last/ and only love 4 years ago, and that pain it caused changed me so much, that i can't fall into love again or feel ANYTHING other than the love to my self.

  • Answer to both questions:

    Love. Heartbreak, then Joy.

  • most painful lack of hope and most pleasurable the feeling of deep conection

  • 1. Pregnancy Depression and pregnancy psychosis

    2. Realizing that I was mortal :) The skies opened up, and I appreciated life.

  • psychology does NOT say that any unpleasant feeling is a disorder.

  • my "most painful emotional experiance" (sic) is watching a video by someone trying to come across as an expert who can't spell...

  • Realising that every faliure, every friend lost, lost opportunity and time was (putting excuses aside) basically my own doing.

after years of pondering (and even more failed attempts)..

Realising that sculpting life in the positive - that mentioned situations have a positive outcome is within the power of the individual. Never give up! And if those 'bad' things didn't happen I'd never realise that.

    On short:

    (m.pain.:) hating life

(m.pleas.:) started loving life (good and 'bad' sides)

  • 1. Noticing you stopped makeing videos

    2. Watching your videos

I need another prescription of Prozoft, Dr. Sarah

  • Fear. Love.

  • most painful and pleasurable is LOVE...

  • @allo3009

I strongly disagree. Love isnt painful at all, just the lack of it is.

  • @allo3009 No. I still don't agree with you, but I believe you mean love and the lack of love. Love is always a good thing and is always mutual, it comes in two. Affection on the other hand can both turn into love or rejection, but it is your own choice if you turn that rejection to a good or a bad feeling.

  • most pleasurable is when I was lied to my whole child hood and told everyone lives forever and grows to be more perfect.

most painful was learning we all die.

  • You have the best hair but I think you need a little upper lip bleaching, actually it may just be the lighting

  • heartbreak nd sex, i guess..

  • death of my mother, birth of my first child

  • I love your videos. <3

    :3

  • the birth of my son

  • most painful would be love

most pleasurable emotion would be watching just watching pornography

  • Most painful would be watching this video.

  • I did not see 10 Mysteries to the Brain. Perhaps it would have been easier if you would have listed them because you spoke about so many issues and levels of those issues that it was difficult for me to come up with any list; especially 10 distinct mind mysteries. You did talk about them and related them all to societal thinking being the answer as to what is considered normal and what is considered to be not normal. I hope this helps. Thank you. MGM.

  • there's also binaural frequencies in which the brain can pick up over the air but they blend them in with music so you can't hear them these create perceptual and perspective innate ability's to change the way you view something perhaps whether a song is good or bad ... she's talking shite about the music.. music is only empathy....

  • @WigsAndSwords1 is different from person to person

  • Boredom is what drove me here, sadly i must leave halfway through because i'm still bored.

  • @Vluxine In my experience, those who are bored are the biggest bores of all.

  • @Vluxine there is no MInd Control conspiracy. maybe in the advertising but humnakind enjoys all the trash served to them. Society is the way it is, LIVE WITH IT.

  • People can control others emotions by the music they use.People can push an agenda with music as well.God more than likely exists but is disgusted with people trying to make themselves a god.Who says God didn't give us a choice on how to be?Why would anyone want to make something free on the internet? To help people maybe? Why do people want to charge you money for something? Why would anyone want to make money? To help themselves out? Some people have to use the money system to help people I suppose

  • thumbs up if u just saw this video because of the thumbnail

    =P

  • @WigsAndSwords1 focus on 440 hz. the "A" above "middle C". THERES MORE TO IT THAN YOU THINK...

  • u r telented n u r preety 2...i luv ur videos

  • The most painfull experience was the time my uncle died and the most pleasurable experience was when I watched The Secret for a second time and realized what it meant more clearly.

  • psychetruth, you are so pretty !

  • Pleasurable: Being with my wife. Painful: My wife leaving me. P.S. This video is "inappropriate" according to YouTube. I guess that means it's good.

  • This is excellent - I think you would get a lot from reading Discipline and Punish by Foucault. It isn't just Psychiatry that has been used to control society, but Psychology... right from its emergence out of the "burning witches" notion of people who are different. Not only psychiatry, and psychology, but prisons were first developed in response to people who wouldn't work. If you didn't work, you were "sick". This trend continues to-day. Keep up the research

  • Hmmm howcome most images, video, and music all show women as peaceful, loving, happy sad, upset persons of mysterious or simple complex intense inner emotions and man as destructive, hateful, perverted, lustful, uncaring, and as persons or robotic, gut driven and simple thinking animal like beings?

  • The best and worst of emotional experiances are in connection with love; losing it and feeling it.

  • are u acutally from scientology? no offence! just wondering. i think u are kind of true but u sell the psychology diagnose as a stigma. if people get so depressed to kill themselfe i dont know y shoulnd they not take medizine?
