Yoshi is capable of English, Japanese, and Yoshinese. In this case, it is Japanese, in Yoshi's Story, it was Yoshinese, and in the crappy super mario world cartoon, it was english, however, the SMW cartoon sucks and is proven wrong by the game it is based on as well as its sequel.
