Your mom needs to realize that the format you are using allows her to get away with any idea imaginable because, as amusing as the re-enactments are...it's her imagination and your presentation of her imagination (ie: listening in on the phone call while the episodes are being 'built') that makes this project very unique and thoroughly entertaining.
