@safeek73 well if people never too k the animals from the wild we wouldnt have any dogs as pets besides their instinkt isnt to attack humans and if their correctly trained they wount attack pets
This is horrible, humans need to respect nature and leave these animals alone. Do you know that the ones that are still aggressive are killed? and the ones that are not get to live, all this because humans are selfish beings. Leave nature alone. Foxes are wild leave them in their environment.
@snake4479 Foxes aren't quite like dogs, personoftheinterwebz. They aren't pack animals. So dominating isn't really the best way to get a fox to obey you, but being all sweet and just hoping it'll do what you say also won't get it to obey...
What a handsome fox :) I wish I could have one but I have too many questions...What do they eat? Do they behave more like a dog or perhaps like a cat? Do they like to go for walks at the dog park? Where could I possibly buy one? Where is it legal to keep one? See...too many questions. :)
All that aside, he is quite cute :) I want to play with a fox <3
Such a pretty fox i can't imagine the hassle of having to not only taking care of it but also getting the permits to keep it (assuming that its required in your area).
@mistyrine1 Canines, of all kinds I believe, are capable to cross-breed. Wolves and dogs most common, but others can exist as well. But, I'm no expert so. >.<
"Members of the Canidae family are called canid and include dogs, wolves, foxes, coyotes, dingoes, jackals, and lycaons. The Canidae family is divided into the "true dogs" (or canines) of the tribe Canini and the "foxes" of the tribe Vulpini. The two species of the basal Caninae are more primitive and don't fit into either tribe. Any member of this family can be referred to generally as a canid."
@dragonzrule93 But- there is also something else I noticed. A fox/dog breed wouldn't be possible. The number of chromosomes are different, without the same number of chromosomes it is highly unlikely that the two can breed, despite being from the same family. So, yes, my previous thoughts on the possibility are invalid, but hey, we all learn.
- And some people really need to notice Caps lock for once.
why were you at petsmart with a fox??? if you wer getting food, and if you did the research to what it takes to care for a fox, you would knkow that foxes and dogs eat raw meat not dry kibble,
the Russians discovered the trait but it can happen with some wild animals they dont know y yet that was why they made the project

if you want him to stop doing things like that you have to DOMINATE TY. I have a 100 pound pure bred GSD that I can walk without a Leash.

Is that a red fox/german shepard mix breed?
Emowolf87 2 months ago
@Emowolf87 @mistyrine1 No, it's a silver fox mixed with a Red fox. I don't think it is possible to mix a fox with a dog.
wowdirtsA 2 months ago
@Emowolf87 Not possible, it's a domestic Russian Silver Fox.
