  • Long live the DPRK!

  • British people are everywhere. these scumbags go to nations who are not their puppets to spread their filthy propaganda.

  • @pabnaful I assume this is a trolling comment? If you have access to a networked computer I doubt you are that ignorant.

  • @peronk1

You are fucking ignorant! You like to think that you are rulers of the world and all other nations except americans and brits are third party humans! You kill for oil and other wealth children and women all over the world and you stupid dumbass bitch teaching others! North Koreans our brothers! USSR helped them to became socialist country and they still keep it! So STFU and play with your macbook and iphone!

  • @MrDjugashvili Drink a bottle of Vodka and take a long swim, you'll relax afterward.

  • @peronk1

I will relax when america will be in ruins and my ak-47 will be in your ass!

  • @MrDjugashvili In ruins, like the Soviet Union? And enough of the homosexual innuendos dumbdumb

  • @pabnaful WHAT?

  • I have never seen a country this grey.

  • @MariaKarita Any edible plants are picked for food: it's a very drab landscape.

  • @myfatproductions there is another youtuber who went to Russia to see the North Korean labor camps, they do exist. Search: Kim Jong Il's Foreign Adventure - North Korea, to watch his video.

  • @hikusar Excellent! Thanks for sharing that.

  • @myfatproductions Look at photos taken from space- they reveal in detail the concentration camps that are used imprison more than 200,000 citizens.

  • @peronk1: Glad to see a non-minder assisted tour of NK. Tbh, after seeing this, i'd rather visit this place than Liberia.

On another note: would they allow you to go for another visit? do they have restrictions like 1 visit every number of year(s)?

  • @ramirgeddon North Korea is open again for Tourism. I met a Japanese tourist in North Korea while in the mountains who was on his 8th visit- so yes, you can go as often as you like most likely. They need hard currency, they are happy to take you in.

  • @peronk1 Thanks for the reply. Do you have any idea on how much roughly would it cost?

  • @ChuHeartKPOP Western media does a very poor job at showcasing highly corrupt countries in any amount of good light, which is a shame becuase it does give a destorted view of portraying every inhabitant as starving and living in work camps: which is only true for about 10% of the country most likely.

  • Did you go with Koryo Tours?

  • @starry4sky No, but Simon at Koryo tours is prob. the best person to speak with if you want to a low stress, highly organized experience. The tour company I went with was organized by a couple of young cowboys: which in retrospect was worth it for the adventure but if you're a risk adverse individual I recommend the Koyro tour company.

  • @peronk1 Thanks :) I was asking because I went with Simon with Koryo Tours in February, and I wondered which guides you had. How do you know Simon?

Your videos are great - our guides wouldn't let us film very much, and North Korean guards at the border deleted some of our photos. Which company did you go with? I'm definitely up for adventure!

  • @starry4sky Young Pioneer Tours. They tend to have a younger crowd: which is good if you're among that demographic- or sometimes there is no one but yourself. My minder/guides were excellent esp. the woman Pak Un Du. The male guide was Li Dong Chol. Filming/Photos is certainly the major cause of friction between the guides and you- can get a bit testy toward the end of the trip. I just switched memory cards at the boarder- guards only saw the allowable photos. I might go back this year- U?

  • I thought Korea was a dump these places are nice?

  • @ndgh209 It's very clean- not a dump at all. Yet very poor and the infrastructure is crumbling all around. Outside the showcase city (which would be akin to their version of Washington DC) however, things become more drab and run down.

  • Did they make you do the things like you've seen in other documentaries, like bow in front of the monuments of Kim Il Sung and such?

  • @dannymaclamp Yes, that was the only time you needed to bow- the rest of the trip there was no such requirements. The minders/guides are actually very respectful of your own beliefs.

  • are you American?

  • @shadowzach00 I am. Being an American makes it difficult to get into NK by train, yet there are ways around this. However any America can fly into NK without a problem.
