I like Beatles tribute bands, 1964, American English, British Export, etc. My only problem with Beatles tribute bands is they tend to sing with english accents and if you listen to the real Beatles singing rock and roll their accents disappeared. Same thing with the Stones. Just sing the songs without the accents as the real Beatles did. Great job guys. I hope you guys are going to Abbey Road on the River. I'll be there.

A bit off in the beginning for sure but this is one performance. Please look at their other postings here before you judge them. They are so talented and excellent. Very young and this clip was 5 years ago! You would not believe the atmosphere and excitement they generate in concert and the charisma they have. No equal to the original, but I promise you these guys are as close as it gets to the looks, moves, youth, and talent of the lads from Liverpool in the early 60s.
For many other videos of The Return try searching You Tube for "The Return Beatles". You will soon see how great they are. They were in Liverpool for the 2003 Beatles Week and there are lots of videos from the Cavern with them that are really rocking.

It's a full weekend every year (Louisville, Ky.) of nothing but Beatles Tribute bands from all over the world. The crowds are huge!! elee726. 1964 are indeed very good as I know the lads too. They are a USA band and have a website with some vids done in the Cavern. I was there and on them and it was very surreal to see them back in black and white. They do huge venues in the US.
The Beatles usually tuned their song down half a step in concert, too. In fact, they did so for all of the songs that they sang on the 1st and 3rd Ed Sullivan appearances.

Actaully, the best way to do beatles live is to tune from 440 to 220. Very easy to copy vocals this way.
What do I know, I actually paid to see BRITISHMANIA. Very good Idea if you need an enema!!!! Later Lads

Get their albums. They are the #1 tribute band. Dick Clark, George Harrisons's sister, carnegie hall people.
They are BETTER than the original Beatles. Even though they use the same instruments, the equipment is much better. Please listen to them and get back to me. I saw them twice in concert.

nope...not better than the original...ya know why? you can't be...the song is however they wanted it to be...and nobody is better than the beatles. and there are a bunch of beatles tribute bands that george harrison's sister approves of.

elee726. 1964 are indeed very good as I know the lads too. They are a USA band and have a website with some vids done in the Cavern. I was there and on them and it was very surreal to see them back in black and white. They do huge venues in the US.

The Beatles usually tuned their song down half a step in concert, too. In fact, they did so for all of the songs that they sang on the 1st and 3rd Ed Sullivan appearances.
