how do you get those effects... I'm trying to get a similar sound but I'm not even close to that. Like leaving the note pressed and hit a lower note without the initial note not sounding... And I would like a nice lead sound ^.^
soundcard latency... you have to setup your soundcard in program that you use if you have good soundcard it should be no problem... integrated soundcard may not even have ASIO support (meaning you will not get good latency or you will get bad distorted noisy sounds).
I just got the keyboard and wondered how you actually change the sound that ech key make. I use cubase. I know i'm a bit of a noob but I never had a keyboard before so please help me. Thx!
Change the VST instrument that the controller is assigned to - you can get new instruments by going into devices - > VST instruments. Once you have your instrument, highlight it then you should be able to control that instrument with the nanokey. Good luck! (And everyone is a noob to start with :P)
The best thing that this keyboard have is the software included. The Korg M1 LE virtual instrument. Awesome instrument with real sounds. The keyboard you can find better in the chinese shops.
maybe you have 2 soundcards? If this is the case asio selects your onboard card as default, you need to goto its settings and select correct card.. if thats the case ;]
I just bought one of these but I cant rock it out nearly as much as he can. I need to hit the keys harder too, because sometimes mine dont register, but as usual Rudess makes everything look easy :P
I don't know about this keyboard. one guy just said that his keys popped out and he wasn't even bangin on them. I also heard that Korg is releasing another Black version of this keyboard, perhaps better.
they're like computer keys. It depends what ur trying to play on it, but theyre velocity sensitive. so...yeah.... nothing much else to say about it. They're not "hinged" like normal keys, they go straight down, held on in the middle.
After seeing this I ran down to the local music hardware store and asked around, nanopad and nanokontrol'll go for 750 SEK (around 75€) and this nanokeys 650 SEK, the first shipment will be in anytime now (Sweden, Europe), so get in quick if you want to get one early!
Now to decide between giving my Kaossilator a paintjob and a pedal, or this.. curse my wallet.
Wow you can switch octaves! That is handy! Btw I love how you dueled with JP with one of those keytar things. You seem to be able to put anything given to you to great use.
if you buy this nano key do you get the program what you need for free?
is it with the nano key?

it'll sound like whatever you want it to. it's a midi controller, the sounds are completely reliant on what you're controlling.

Mine does the same on my laptop, is that something to do with the integrated soundcard too?

@djshocka2007 get ASIO4ALL (google it), go to preferences and select it as the audio driver to use.
