Take the Marvin Harrison reception for example - gets both feet in, but most importantly, demonstrates possession of the ball as he's coming down, despite initially bobbling it. If the turf were to force the ball out of his hands, it would have been an incompletion.:

What I find funny is that even the receiver knew he dropped it. Then he gets up, is looking around like, "Durr, wha? I got a TD?... Yay!?!..."

that was one of the worst calls ever and if you take that touchdown away the game would have still been 28-21 Marine City over Kingsford.
