Weaving your constantly thins it out even thou it helps it grow it thins it out this is why u should always talk a break from sew in & maybe wear wigs, deep condition & help it get back body
@MsChanda ur hair is so long and cute. I dont understand why you wear weaves. lol yes i do it's something that cant be explained lol. I would love for you to tell me what your do's and dont's are for ur hair.
THIS IS NATURAL HAIR?!!? omgosh. it looks good. i hardly see flat ironed natural hair look this silky and straight. what type of flat iron do you have and what products do you use too?
your hair is very healthy. Keep doing what you're doing. Continue to NOT put ANYTHING on your scalp because it could clog your pores. Everyone doesn't have a high density of hair but you hair is healthy thin or thick.
i love your hair; and im guilty as charged; i have thin hair also; now im in japan and im tryn to become natural but this humidity is horrible here; lol; smh im tired of flat ironing; do you now any products that can keep my hair from drawing up quickly?
I love watching your videos you soo sweet & like me.. i love trying different things & all your do's are all natural looks.. my hair growing long too with the sew in's i keep mine in for bout two months also ;-)
Your hair is very beautiful....and I completely understand what u mean when u said your hair waves back up....that's why I relax my hair I can't stand the wavy hair....but I know natural is healthier...but I don't blame u...your sew ins are so much more fun...you can color..cut and style all kinds of ways....especially things we wouldn't dare do to our own hair....enjoy your vids...keep up the good work:)
Oopps!! I asked that question before finishing the video :-D So, my next question is do you plan on eventually increasing your regimen to promote longer/fuller hair growth??
your hair looks soooooooo good girl! Im trying so hard to go natural and its tough! I did the big chop in June due to a relaxer gone bad but so far it has grown a lot! what products do you use for your natural hair?
Cool I'll comment! How many months or years are you? I am about 17 months and it looks like my hair has stopped growing so I started back taking my hair vitamins. Please let me know how many months you are so maybe I can get some kinda hope back. I don't want my hair too long maybe about 3 inches longer than yours pls answer me I NEED HELP!
how and what do you use to flat iron your hair, I wash, blowdry and flat iron BUT my hair looks NOTHING, LOL NOTHING like yours, I have to go to the Dominicans to get it like yours, can you help me, cause I'm getting tired of the wigs and braids and wanna wear my own hair out and I will only wear it out if it;s like yours, thanks and your hair is gorgeous keep it up and will get there.
I think your hair is permed because i've watched tons of natural hair videos and even though they flat iron you can still tell its natural with yours you cant i think is relaxed if its not could you do a video showing yur wash and straightening technique if you dont already have one
@LOVELY1ASHLEY you can get natural hair bone straight. Brazillian blow outs are awesome. jus a lil olive oil a 12 row brush and a blow dryer will straighten the hair then you flat iron it. It looks jus like a perm, check out rhythm hair studios video called natural hair blow outs. And her hair texture might not be like everyone else whose hair you watched.
@LOVELY1ASHLEY i think when you have fine natural hair it can get straighter more easily. Im natural too and when I got my hair professionally straightened my hair was SILKY straight and I have KINKY fine hair. The vid is on my channel. But you are right cause when I flat ironed myself my hair was still poofy and "natural" looking. I think it just depends on the level of expertise, cause I know I could never get it as silky as my stylist did...never lol
I am transitioning to natural....I want to try to get my hair like yours, full of body and very pretty. What are you techniques? --- Sent From MsChanda's AppRats (Facebook App)!
Your natural hair is so lovely! Is it relaxed? Please can everyone check out my channel and please subscribe, my aim is to reach 100 subs by the end of august so please subscribe, it will make my day :) much love xxx
do you find that sew ins thins your out? My hair grew with sew ins but I found that my hair was thinner. It happened to a friend of mine as well. Good vid by the way.
@shatoyta2000 i know im not chanda but those sewins surely thinned ME out!...so i decided to cut that straight out of my regimine...however, a tip that might help is to make sure your braids are conditioned and wet before your take your sewin out so that you will loosen the product buildup that tends to accumulate under the braid and harden the hair...it has worked wonders for a lot of sisters out there.
@88niteowl88 thanks for replying. I was just curious. I am natural have not worn weave in years but I go back and forth between getting a sew in and a lace wig for a change of pace (especially in the winter). I am leaning towards the lace wig because I can take it off whenever I want lol. But if I should get a sew in, I will keep your suggestions in mind. Thanks again! :)
you hair looks really nice chica...i need to get my own hair down and see how it looks its been a few months. hopefully its looks as good as yours..Thanks for the update...
Ms Chanda.......any good advice for taking care of leave outs, while in this heat. I don't flat iron unless I've washed it. But my hair is wavy and I have a hard time keeping it straight to match my weave. Thanks for sharing and your hair looks great!!!
Hi MsChanda, your hair looks great. I hope you can help me with something. I am looking for a tinted moisturizer. I saw that Hard Candy has one for $8.00 but they only had light pink and light brown but I am dark skin, what would you suggest?
Your hair grew a lot!! People dont realize that when its hot outside sometimes your hair does not cooperate...and in plus you just want your hair to get a break and go to a protective style like a sew-in, or wigs,...etc. But overall, your hair looks good, keep it up!!!
My hair was just as thin if not thinner but i started using castor oil and sweet almond oil and i see a big difference esp arnd my edges- nt sure if it has been mentioned but while you have a sew in it may help- just use it lightly otherwise you'll look like a wet cat
Your hair has really grown I to am doing the natural thing with my hair & it is hard to keep it up in this heat if I step on the porch after flat ironing my hair for a hr.poof U know what. my hair is THICK! but I really love it without relaxers but my drug of choice is WEAVES!! LOL!!! once I get my desired length I will start my weave detox!! LOL!!
have u done something different with ur flat iron routine cuz ur hair looks different and more moisturized and i have an issue making my hair look moisturized while not tryna put a moisturizer on it cuz it seems to weigh my hair down
Your hair looks AMAZING!!! I noticed in tthe other video that you used the stove iron instead of a flat iron. Is this method better for you when straightening your natural hair?
i find it interesting that many of the black ladies i watch on here have similar areas that are short(back & the front) mainly the areas you mentioned. Is that cos of the quickweaves and weaving? what are your thoughts on why others have this problem?
I am soooo happy for you MsChanda!!! I hv been following you for a minute and your progress is GREAT!!! Keep doing what you do and WOW us with some amazing wig caps and sew-ins!!!
You natural hair look great Ms. Chaunda.. I'm also natural.. Have you tried taking Biotin 5000mg tablets once a day? Try those and u will definately see results.
Chanda your hair looks really good and very healthy. I wish I had 1/2 as much hair as you have. I suffer from traction alopecia and I have tried so many things to make my hair grow back. Any ideals would be appreciated. Thanks
Your natural hair is beautiful, and it grew a lot. It gives me hope because my natural hair is thin always. What is the black tea rinse you were talking about?
yeah. thank you so much for this hair video. Ok your hair is fine but it is so beautiful like that. When you straighten your hair you have the chance that it actually gets straight with body unlike me with coarse hair. Great progress Chanda. Kiss from a french fan.
People have to understand that you are doing what's best for your hair. They may WANT a tut but you are giving your hair what you think it NEEDS. Do you Chanda, I'm a loyal subbie regardless.
Your hair looks nice and healthy :).. My hair is natural too but I want to get it really straight for a sew in... I have to find the right flat iron on a budget..
@MissDannip You should check out Amazon. They usually have ceramic irons at discounted prices. I got a Cortex for $30 and my natural hair came out really smooth.
actually im quite impressed. your hair is very pretty and exceptionally healthy and shiny looking. do you use and specific types of hair products in your hair or do you mostly achieve your hair strength and shine from the sew ins inwhich it helps to keep your hair protected?
yah hair video u have been my inspiration to have natural hair i actually have had natural hair for 6 months i am hoping that mine will get my like that its just so tempting sometimes when i see my natural hair sometimes to just slap a relaxer in it but i am developing patience...lol
I also miss your vids of doing hair tutorials and weaves. I see alot of hair tutorials on youtube and to me you give the best step to step process and you also do your very neat and clean unlike many other girls who do weaves on youtube. i think you should use a stocking/wig cap when doing your sew-ins or some form of lace to protect your hair from the weave. and you should also try jamaican castor oil and vegetable hair glycerin as well
Please pretty please do a wash n condition blow dry n flat iron video with your natural hair. Subbies are dying to know how you get that swang! BTW Congrats on the progress of your hair
your hair looks really good. my hair looks similar now since I trimmed it but it's funny because I always say mine looks thin and other people never think so just like how I don't think yours looks thin either. I had my sew-in out since march which is the longest ever but I think i will put it back in in the fall
Looking good...........I too am natural 5yrs and my hair was majorly thin when I got perms I've been using caster oil and coconut oil which really helps to thicken hair strands by filling in the weak spots of your individual hair strands over time strengthening the shaft of the hair and its very light.
i bought the black tea after watching your regimen video ..and i am yet to use it ..smh...but i am loving dah growth!!! also, question? are you still taking hair infinity vitamins? i am debating ordering them but watching several reviews...if u stop taking dem u seem to have a lot of shedding:( hmmm idk ...but hey ..LOVIN UR HAIR:) STAY BLESSED
I had to simplify my regimen as well. It was too much having to do this and that. Now that i have it down to a science, almost, my hair has done much better.
Wrap your hair in the opposite direction. That way your problem side will catch up. When you wrap your hair in one direction all the time your hair favors that side. Trust me this works i had the same problem years ago :-)
Have you done a video on how you flat iron your natural hair. I can not get my hair that bone straight especially not with the cheap beauty supply flat iron i use lol. Do you have heat damage?
@KellyJelly9976 Thanks for replying. That is really interesting. What brand do you use? Can you buy it from Walmart or Target? Do I look for regular black tea? Thanks for your help.

I also miss your vids of doing hair tutorials and weaves. I see alot of hair tutorials on youtube and to me you give the best step to step process and you also do your very neat and clean unlike many other girls who do weaves on youtube. i think you should use a stocking/wig cap when doing your sew-ins or some form of lace to protect your hair from the weave. and you should also try jamaican castor oil and vegetable hair glycerin as well

your hair looks really good. my hair looks similar now since I trimmed it but it's funny because I always say mine looks thin and other people never think so just like how I don't think yours looks thin either.

MsVintage007 7 months ago
Your hair has really thickened up though, believe it or not! It looks great, keep up the good work.

i bought the black tea after watching your regimen video ..and i am yet to use it ..smh...but i am loving dah growth!!! also, question? are you still taking hair infinity vitamins? i am debating ordering them but watching several reviews...if u stop taking dem u seem to have a lot of shedding:( hmmm idk ...but hey ..LOVIN UR HAIR:) STAY BLESSED

I had to simplify my regimen as well. It was too much having to do this and that. Now that i have it down to a science, almost, my hair has done much better.
Thanks for sharing!

What do you use the black tea and green tea for? What does it do for the hair? Thanks Also, your hair looks really nice, like you just got a relaxer.
TheSweetTea00 7 months ago
@TheSweetTea00 I use the Black Tea Rinse for fullness and the Keratin and Green Tea Spray after I condition as a leave in
MsChanda 7 months ago
@TheSweetTea00 i use black tea rinses to stop shedding. The caffeine in black tea sticks to the follicle.
KellyJelly9976 7 months ago
@KellyJelly9976 Thanks for replying. That is really interesting. What brand do you use? Can you buy it from Walmart or Target? Do I look for regular black tea? Thanks for your help.
TheSweetTea00 7 months ago
@TheSweetTea00 I usually get it from the $.99 store.
