one place to start is to find a way to feed yourself without money...even starting with something as simple as a pot of parsley on the windowsill can grow into more ways of living outside of the money system if you keep your attention on finding a way to feed yourself without money

I am poor, yet my chickens are rich They cluck when I feed them and relentlessly lay their eggs They are "Queen-Bee" egg layers I feel that I owe them something more than a handful of scratch, but what can I give from an abundance of poverty of self? I can write them a poem! They'll like that. A poem about the hungry raven, the snarling coyote, the gut-plucking eagle and the yellow snow. A poem that is an egg Which I throw at the world
people, like rhosey, and by like him, I mean those that are over the age of 30, are, just by means of time spent with an accepted reality and/or ideology, find it hard to let it go.

There is one truth, and I, like the others before me, will die to preserve it.
But the age 30 is one I have come up with as a defining line between probability of acceptance of actual truth, of the capability to look critically at your thoughts.
divisions between humanity are all illusions.
that 30 year old rejects truth because he has spent 30 years fortifying it. sexism, racsism, these people have thought this way their whole lives.
Thats a long fucking time, to have some punk kid tell him that he's wrong.
i've actually thought the very same thing, here on YT, especially. a lot of "revolutionary-spirited" people just cling to this system, with a tenacity i just cannot comprehend.
even when i try to "take them by the hand" and lead them down the path i took, they refuse to accept logic. they use the words "reality" and human-nature" a lot, when they cannot come up with a reasonable argument.
i chalk it up to "length of time in the brainwashing booth," but generically, it could be called age.
i don't mean "money" as in a means of exchange...i mean "money" as in this BS, fraudulent, fiat currency system that has enslaved most of the world.
in my (not so) humble opinion, you are both exactly right. it's impossible to toss people into a nice little labeled box, but years of abuse play hell on the human psyche.
but that doesn't eliminate the possibility of wholeness at any age
if this generation--and by 'this generation' i mean *everyone* breathing on the planet right now--can't lose the 'old people suck' mindset, we're sunk. it will be just more of the same.
the powers that be *want* the young to think the old are worthless. and they *want* the old to think the young are foolish.
it's all over the culture. it keeps the machine running nicely.
the human spirit can be surprisingly resilient. some just choose "the path of (presumed) least resistance, because...well...nobody likes to be kicked.
Try convicing a 20 year old hardcore christian from birth, about fallicies in the church.
You will get the same thing I was talking about.
The mind has a habit of fortifying beliefs after a while, and My PERSONAL experience would say that this heaviliy fortified mind is more present in the adults I speak to about it, rather then the youth.
Teens, and people in their young adulthood, generally change world views every few day.
So, generally speaking, getting them to accept this reality would be much easier then someone who has had a near half lifetime to solididate their views as truth.
Don't take it personally.
basic common sense.
Have you ever tried to convince a grandmother of anything she did not already hold as truth?
You would have an easier time battling a hardcore catholic.
phuq, an old "hippie" said it better than you: "Never trust anyone over thirty", so please don't think your observations are original or insightful or meaningful.
However, my issue is not with you; it is with the next generation. Their slogan may be "Never trust anyone over three." Then were really fucked!
Your large-type truth will be proclaimed by those in diapers, and the Big Button will be guarded by teething tykes.
I said my issue was not with you, hoping I would not have to read any more of your drivel. It really is disgusting. And then to watch you stepping all over yourself trying to explain and apologize is embarrassing, I can only imagine how you feel.
"The truth does not have to be original, insightful or meaningful.
It just is."
This is where I ask you quite sincerely to enlighten withering mind as to what the (drum-roll) TRUTH is that enters every one of your paragraphs.
Re-reading this I retract my statement, I see that you nowhere apologize for your disparaging comments on those over thirty.
I want to point out that all of the books you recommend are written by persons over that age, when critical thinking seeps away and ideology creeps in.
I am still interested in your definition of TRUTH... Here "truth never changes", then it finds itself on the "beating path of the rigtheous truth", then "Nothing I say, I claim as truth..."
Hostility over a statement that had nothing to do with you, penniless, hooligan or anyone in particular.
FACT: And Ive said it about 4 times now, as the mind spends time on an ideology, it fortifies it. Most 30 year olds have had a philosophical ideal cement in their brains for a while.
For most, that ideal would be aimed at monetary wealth, accumulation of material objects ect.
phug you've got to get that some people truly aren't talking on a personal level
once you see that, the comments will make more sense
...so your mind is getting pretty fortified with the ideology that the problem with our culture lies in the older people, and if they would just get a clue, everything would be find?
The truth I speak of, is the truth penniless speaks of. The truth that has been hidden from us since the inception of this system that certain people like to call civilization.
Hippies held this truth, and Hippies that I know, tell me in more or less words that this truth was theirs and theirs alone.
And what are you saying here? That the eradication of the species would be better than it not conforming to your ideals?
As to originality, I read a poem once titled "I sd it bcuz I rd it". Though we hate to admit it, most of our ideas are borrowed at best, or are new, clever ways of saying the same thing. To be original is to be clever. To think that because you are young you are superior in any way is laughable, I'm sorry. You are very intelligent, clever and well read. Congratulations.
phuq, I think we are working at cross-purposes. I do not want to insult you or be insulted by you, though I have done both. Whatever.
I am discounting you as an idiot, though, for saying that we "would be better off dead, than slaves." If you really think this than you are narcissistic beyond my ability to explain. An ideological tyrant of the mind.
Man o man your a brazen one! Better off dead unless everyone phuq's themselves! Too much!
phuq, it seems like an odd choice to make between living on one's knees and dying on one's feet, when one is born into this world bent over.
What makes a man a coward? Another man's opinion?
Your words are empty. Empty whiffle-balls you bat around.
You have not lived life, yet you pontificate on the subject like some sort of wizard/seer. If you ever have the opportunity to spend some time alone, with no books, just the walls and you, then I might listen to your definition of a coward. Not now
seems to me most of the people blowing each other to bits are *under* thirty.
war is not caused by old people. it is a direct result of civilization. old people do not cause this system; they were born into it, just like you.
funny-—indigenous communities have old people, and no war, so there goes your premise. and guess what? young people in indigenous communities respect and communicate with, learn from and teach, their elders.
how uncool is that? talking with old people is so lame. :P
yes phug young people try on different world views like t-shirts, and you can get them to accept any reality for a day or two, until something 'cooler' comes along, as i have seen time and time again on youtube
true soldiers are few and far between. hooligan is one of them. but oh! he's over thirty, so never mind.
have you ever *listened* to a grandmother?
you seem to think that communication is about 'battles' and 'victories'--interesting metaphors, considering that you claim to be anti-war
you continue to see this conversation as a series of personal attacks
i have taken nothing personally, as i said before, and i have meant nothing personally
you missed my main point. i stated it twice, quite clearly. it has nothing to do with you. it has to do with the division between young and old which keeps everything firmly in place. if you truly saw this, you'd say wildly different things.
i've kind of lost the thread, phuq, but the bottom line is i support you--i wouldn't be writing to you if i didn't. and i know the feeling of being bombarded on youtube. comments are in and of themselves a difficult way to communicate.
i trust what we can all learn from this is that we need to give both the young and the old more benefit of the doubt
i was talking to an old white male last night and was pleasantly surprised by what he said about how we need to build community
I used to feel the same way, when I was a young'un. It turns out though, that the young are not the sole keepers of ideology (kinda odd you say phuq it, when you personify it). However, don't assume that I'm attacking you, 'cause I ain't. I just want you to know that there are "old hippies" out here in the world that have held true to their 60's roots; don't write 'em off! Hoolie is but one example. Another YT "elder" is patiodaddyo1, check him out. Peace2U!
okay phuq, gonna give it one more try. i trust youre listening.
this is why i dont like youtube debates, because i raise important points that go unanswered, and then the respondent says things like dont take it personally when i said absolutely nothing that would make you think i took it personally—this is not about me, but about the future of life on this planet. get that. i dont give a damn about youtube otherwise.
if the people of this planet are going to liberate themselves from the deathgrip of industrial civilization, theyre gonna have to start trusting each other, like they did for 99% of human existence.
can you not see how fragmentation and division are at the *core* of the success of industrial civilization? are you aware of black-on-black crime, & why it is encouraged? the division between old and young is deadly—it means the end of community, & true community means freedom from the system.
doesnt it seem odd to you, a free thinker, that you have the same ideas about older people that the dominant culture wants you to have, ideas are reinforced everywhere in the media? turn on any television and you will see old people suck messages.
what originality has to do with anything is beyond me. we dont need original thinkers, just clear thinkers. and more than that, we need people with open hearts.
when I talk to older people about younger people and the future of this planet, they tremble in fear.
they see people who are insanely absorbed into themselves, popular culture, consumerism, and electronic devices, who lack basic life skills, insight, imagination, passion, and, most of all, compassion.
what am I to tell them? that there are a few exceptions? are you one of the exceptions?
Jensen's next book (a collaboration with two other people) I think is going to be called "Resistance as if the Earth Mattered" (and I'd add ourselves).
Maybe YouTube is the only way to get the ideas to people that Walt Disney and Rush Limbaugh neglect to mention in their the flood of organic materials they release each day into the media soup.
Indeed we do! You think that rosy cheeked prick will contribute to the loss of his own job? haha. Unless we are talking about anarch-capitalist bullshit, which I certainly am not!
I really would discuss about the video but the only thing I could add is more back patting and ego stroking and it really doesn't help to have 30 thousand "zomg great video!" messages.
Talk about narcissistic. To think that the human race is significant enough on this planet, Never mind the United States, is ludicrous. We couldn't do it if we tried. I'm talking like if we released everything you think to be destructive, including exploding all available weaponry at once this planet would still survive. We are insignificant as a whole and you think you can make a difference. Because you rant? Crazy.
rhosey i'm not quite sure what you're saying, or to whom. me? hooligan? we couldn't do what if we tried? a who is we? can you be clearer?
the planet would still survive?
survival = winning?
what are you trying to say?
you don't have to look very far to see that industrial civilization is harming life. you truly can't see that? check out zzz33333's 'evidence of a diseased culture'
i'm sorry that you've been taught that you can't make a difference. there's a lot of evidence to the contrary.
also, what you call narcissism, i call faith in humanity and love of life--the belief that we can turn this culture of maximum harm around and take a saner path
i've checked out your homepage. are you enjoying your time on youtube? is this the life you want?
Yeah, and the price of liberty is eternal vigilance. Pay attention to the things we can do something about. We all like to live in a clean environment so we all do our part. Most of us do anyway. We need to concentrate right now on remaining a free country because if we are not free who the hell cares about anything else? Misguided energy is what I am looking at here. We were attacked on our own soil in New York. Nobody cares, it's an unjust war Bush is a moron. It's endless nonsense I'm seeing
When Pearl Harbor was attacked, guess what! It was not part of the U.S., it was however a legitimate Military target. Our people stood behind the president to until he died. Today we are attacked on our own soil and it is not a legitimate target it is a city. 3,000 are killed, far more than in pearl which was not defenseless. Our Countrymen today chose to abandon the President and blame him for the attack and even for natural disasters. Then the elect a commie. I'm done.
rhosey, how was Iraq a threat to our freedom? How did Iraq tie in to the attack on our soil? Wasted energy you say? What about the energy and life spent on this bullshit war? Oh, and as far as "we" are doing what we can for the environment, that happens to be a ridiculous statement in my opinion. Who cares about freedom if what is needed to sustain life itself no longer exists? All that aside, what does freedom mean to you? You can do only what you are allowed to. This is freedom to you?
It wasn't Iraq that threatened our freedom we were still at war with them from 1991 and escalated it with the full knowledge that the terrorists would come to us there. They did. Why is that important? It is important because we started the fight in Afghanistan which is a mountainous region loaded with caves. Kinda like the jungle warfare in vietnam they know the terrain we don't. Fight in an open desert, cool. Very few obstacles tanks usable etc. Save American live and still kill the terrorists
the u.s. government started a war in iraq because it was too mountainous in afghanistan and they wanted to lure the 'terrorists' to more level terrain.
We live in a much more technologically advanced world than we used to Same comment about two atomic bombs in Japan I would have to agree. About vietnam and carpet bombing I would agree. I was there. Today They put that bomb down your chimney if they so desire. We don't miss targets anymore you have fallen victim to propaganda in the press my friend. Sorry.
Propaganda does not mean lies by definition. But, assuming the popular assumption of it's meaning, how do you differentiate bullshit from truth? All too often it is only a matter of which direction your ideology blows you. We all fall victim to it from time to time.
when I see events strung together in such connectivity as to inspire awe, That gives good indications that its mostly bullshit.
Such as 9/11 and the subsequent events that followed, and subsequent bills that were passed, and the subsequent profit that was had at the expense of poor, and now dead iraqi farmers.
Guess what? if a foreign country bombed where I call home, and put the safty of my loved ones at risk, I would pick UP an AK47 too. If somebody I loved died because of it, I would make it my personal mission to kill every last mother fucker that in my home.
Im sure its the same for you.
Ones finds truth, not in what people say, but what they leave out. And sometimes, certain morons have it slip out of their mouths.
so I guess the little boy who lives beside me likes to make up stories of how he lost his arm and sister and father.
The rules of war, are and have always been. Nothing ever changes in war
The only propaganda I see is the shit comming out of the whitehouse daily
The shit written on that billboard that will eventually have that layman following the advice of a slab of painted wood, or the advice of some random dickhead as he shouts chatchy slogans at you, such as "the few, the proud"
Yeah, that's what every body said about vietnam too. All the propaganda came out of the white house. They conveniently forgot that in vietnam and WWII the white house was controlled by democrats. Liberals like yourself that think only republicans a war mongers. you ain't seen nothing yet kid. I'm betting Obama accelerates the war in Afghanistan and restarts the draft and we lose at least as many in Afghanistan as in vietnam. that was 58,000. I refuse to capitalise vietnam cause I was there.
You beat me to the punch I was just replying to my own comment and we both posted at the same time so you didn't get to read it. It's under this one. Cash is meaningless by the way and if corporations had so much of it they could run the government then why are we bailing them out? I've totally had enough. Your not going to change you opinion nor am I like I said before this Merry Christmas. Goodbye.
And your illustrious democrats stopped funding us so we had to fight our way out without the needed supplies. Not to mention the fact that before the last man left. Saigon was under attack for the first time. And now it is a total communist nation. Look up Saigon. It no longer exists. It is ho chi minh city. Named after the man we were trying to prevent from taking over the country. You starting to pick up what I;m putting down? If not I'm done here I think I am anyway. Merry Christmas.
I wish more people would take a look at declassified documents. If they did, or even fucking cared, they would be appalled and ashamed. From false flag operations to assassinations,to attacks on soft targets(schools,hospitals,etc.). Government deserves no allegiance and is a venomous tool of those least deserving of power.
I don't disagree totally with that Look up "The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution" Johnson lied and said we were attacked in order to turn a military presence (for the purpose of training vietnamise soldiers to defend themselves) into a full scale U.S. war. Advisers first sent by Republican Eisenhower, upheld by Kennedy, and rejected in favor of war by Johnson. Go figure.
Power and control is the first sensible thing you have said. That is exactly right. That is why in this Country we have three branches of government. So nobody gets complete power and control. They call it checks and balances. It has worked for 234yrs. It's the longest standing Constitution in the world today. Our system of government is by no means perfect. It just happens to work better than any other in existence today. All three branches fight for power and control. That's why it works.
See this is what happens when you rely on the press for your information. They are not telling you the history of the United States and they won't they want you running scared. So do the democrats. This economy is not yet as bad as it was in the 1970's under Jimmy Carter. The press is saying it's the worst since the great depression. That began in 1929with the stock market crash and people taking all of their money out of the banks to stuff in their pillows and mattresses. You see that be afraid

resistance to this monster has been here since the fence was built (and torn down)
it's just not very well documented
go figure
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
phuq, if you truly think that rhosey's problem is that he is over 30, see my video 'old farts don't know shit'
(hooligan is over 30, by the way)
civilization relies on the fragmentation of society, and the old/young division is one of the more insidious and sad divisions
yes human beings do see threats to their world view as personal attacks, as their world view is linked to their survival
that's true for everyone
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
not all 30 year+ olds are this way.
But the age 30 is one I have come up with as a defining line between probability of acceptance of actual truth, of the capability to look critically at your thoughts.

"the age 30 is one I have come up with as a defining line...."
hunh?
how did you come up with that 'defining line'? and why? for what purpose? do you see it as 'truth'?
sounds like a rather limited ideology, phuq, a tiny box devoid of possibility that you've slammed a whole heap of people into
and it's interesting that it's the exact ideology the dominant culture wants you to have
maybe, since you are under thirty, you have the capability to look critically at that thought?

i've actually thought the very same thing, here on YT, especially. a lot of "revolutionary-spirited" people just cling to this system, with a tenacity i just cannot comprehend.
even when i try to "take them by the hand" and lead them down the path i took, they refuse to accept logic. they use the words "reality" and human-nature" a lot, when they cannot come up with a reasonable argument.
i chalk it up to "length of time in the brainwashing booth," but generically, it could be called age.
dnHooligan 3 years ago
its kind of the same as when i say "fuck money."
i don't mean "money" as in a means of exchange...i mean "money" as in this BS, fraudulent, fiat currency system that has enslaved most of the world.
in my (not so) humble opinion, you are both exactly right. it's impossible to toss people into a nice little labeled box, but years of abuse play hell on the human psyche.
dnHooligan 3 years ago
yes years of abuse play hell on the human psyche
but that doesn't eliminate the possibility of wholeness at any age
if this generation--and by 'this generation' i mean *everyone* breathing on the planet right now--can't lose the 'old people suck' mindset, we're sunk. it will be just more of the same.
the powers that be *want* the young to think the old are worthless. and they *want* the old to think the young are foolish.
it's all over the culture. it keeps the machine running nicely.
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
the human spirit can be surprisingly resilient. some just choose "the path of (presumed) least resistance, because...well...nobody likes to be kicked.
dnHooligan 3 years ago
i can't buy that reasoning. first, it is closed-minded, which is the very quality that it is supposed to be critiquing.
second, it means writing off a large portion of the population.
third, i have met exceedingly close minded young farts and exceedingly open minded old farts. age has nothing to do with it.
jerry mander is in his eighties, quinn in his seventies, zerzan in his sixties, jensen is almost fifty.....
there's a fourth and a fifth and a sixth, but that should be enough....
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
I was talking about time spent.
TIME SPENT penni. nothing more.

30 years is a long time, PC.
You would have an easier time battling a hardcore catholic.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
phuq, an old "hippie" said it better than you: "Never trust anyone over thirty", so please don't think your observations are original or insightful or meaningful.
However, my issue is not with you; it is with the next generation. Their slogan may be "Never trust anyone over three." Then were really fucked!
Your large-type truth will be proclaimed by those in diapers, and the Big Button will be guarded by teething tykes.
F3loniousMonk 3 years ago
And would you blame them?
Turn on the TV, read a newspaper, or take a look outside and what do you see?
"adults" over 30, blowing people to bits because those people blew people to bits, all the while telling people not to blow people to bits.
Please.
People like pennilesscripple are few and far between.
and you just confirmed what I said previous.
The truth does not have to be original, insightful or meaningful.
It just is.
The "big button" would be better off.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
peace and truth are not items of a pop culture.
Its not a fucking fad, to be worn and discarded as yesterdays news. Its that mindset, that got the movement in the 60's nowhere.
And the "hippies" were not original in any manner.
natural progression.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
I said my issue was not with you, hoping I would not have to read any more of your drivel. It really is disgusting. And then to watch you stepping all over yourself trying to explain and apologize is embarrassing, I can only imagine how you feel.
"The truth does not have to be original, insightful or meaningful.
It just is."
This is where I ask you quite sincerely to enlighten withering mind as to what the (drum-roll) TRUTH is that enters every one of your paragraphs.
Make me laugh.
F3loniousMonk 3 years ago
Re-reading this I retract my statement, I see that you nowhere apologize for your disparaging comments on those over thirty.
I want to point out that all of the books you recommend are written by persons over that age, when critical thinking seeps away and ideology creeps in.
I am still interested in your definition of TRUTH... Here "truth never changes", then it finds itself on the "beating path of the rigtheous truth", then "Nothing I say, I claim as truth..."
Your 'wisdom' seems cracked.
F3loniousMonk 3 years ago
I wont appologize for something that I meant.
Look at yourself.
And most, would die to defend it.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
phug you've got to get that some people truly aren't talking on a personal level
once you see that, the comments will make more sense
...so your mind is getting pretty fortified with the ideology that the problem with our culture lies in the older people, and if they would just get a clue, everything would be find?
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
yes it is.
I dont draw distictions between myself and others.
Most of what I say has myself included in it.
This fortification Is the real problem. THAT IS WHAT I SAID. go back and read it. the age this fortification occurs is secondary to the fact.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
That depends on what truth you are looking for.
personal truths are found in yourself.
THE truth is unknown. To anybody.
The truth I speak of, is the truth penniless speaks of. The truth that has been hidden from us since the inception of this system that certain people like to call civilization.
Hippies held this truth, and Hippies that I know, tell me in more or less words that this truth was theirs and theirs alone.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
And what are you saying here? That the eradication of the species would be better than it not conforming to your ideals?
As to originality, I read a poem once titled "I sd it bcuz I rd it". Though we hate to admit it, most of our ideas are borrowed at best, or are new, clever ways of saying the same thing. To be original is to be clever. To think that because you are young you are superior in any way is laughable, I'm sorry. You are very intelligent, clever and well read. Congratulations.
F3loniousMonk 3 years ago
And you have also put words in my mouth.
Nothing is new in this world.
I did not put myself above anyone in any way.
You read what you wanted to read.
So kindly, go fuck yourself, and get your rocks off on someone else.
And yes, The species would be better off dead, then slaves. Because at that point your life is not yours anymore.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
Well, if I put words in your mouth, at least you should pay me the compliment of placing thoughts near your brain. They seem to be otherwise missing.
You seem to be the one putting words in your mouth. Great thinkers words. You are just mouthing them.
I cannot call this thought:"The species would be better off dead, then slaves." Or this "go fuck yourself"
You have put yourself above others, read your comments here. Self examination is good, don't be afraid.
Fucking myself now...
F3loniousMonk 3 years ago
i bet.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
phuq, I think we are working at cross-purposes.
Too much!
F3loniousMonk 3 years ago
only a coward would choose to live on his knees.
one can attempt to convince himself that it is anything but cowardice, but that person only lies to themselves.
I would personally rather die on my feet, thanks.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
phuq, it seems like an odd choice to make between living on one's knees and dying on one's feet, when one is born into this world bent over.
Not now
F3loniousMonk 3 years ago
when was the last time you spent 9 months with only yourself as company?
You want coward? how about clinging to a reality that is raping you, because its convenient.
whos words are empty, when nothig you have said has had any substance?
phuq1deology 3 years ago
I have lived more then most.
And, when the dust clears, I dont attack someone for a comment, and then say the say thing.
allow me to quote you:
"You have not lived life, yet you pontificate on the subject like some sort of wizard/seer."
age what?
you argue for the sake of arguing.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
the problem is not "old people."
the problem is not "young people."
the problem is "distraction from destruction by civilization." i'm looking at some evidence of it.
why would two relatively more conscious individuals argue about this stuff when there are so many relatively less conscious individuals wasting away?
why not try to eliminate the waste, and then we can talk about the concept of age....?
zzz33333 3 years ago
because we like to talk one way, and be another.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
because as long as there is division between the old & the young, the monster wins-- fragmentation & isolation are nicely in place.
it means no possibility of true community--only individuals, families, clubs, & teams, easily managed through fear & intimidation
the old/young division serves the same pernicious function as black-on-black crime
this is a key issue. rage at civilization is misplaced onto older people. it serves the machine very well.
tomorrow we will all be old
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
Everything in my life is confict.
this can sometimes show through in how I think, and my aim can be a little off at times.
But that defenciveness is required for my sanity, and/or survival.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
your right.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
seems to me most of the people blowing each other to bits are *under* thirty.
war is not caused by old people. it is a direct result of civilization. old people do not cause this system; they were born into it, just like you.
funny-—indigenous communities have old people, and no war, so there goes your premise. and guess what? young people in indigenous communities respect and communicate with, learn from and teach, their elders.
how uncool is that? talking with old people is so lame. :P
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
"wars are waged by the elderly, and bled for by the young."
I thought we were talking about THIS culture, penni?
In fact, I could have swore that every video I have ever seen from you, or hooligan was in relation to that.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
yes we are talking about this culture
if the young refused to fight, there would be no wars
and if young girls stopped finding men in uniform attractive, war would end tomorrow
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
the young rely on the old for guidance, but when the only guidance available comes in the form of a delivery system on a cruise missle,
what then?
this is where the nature of the mind comes in.
does the girl actually find the uniform attractive, or does the uniform sybolize something else sub-consiously?
and in that, is it really the girl that is finding the uniform attractive?
phuq1deology 3 years ago
yes phug young people try on different world views like t-shirts, and you can get them to accept any reality for a day or two, until something 'cooler' comes along, as i have seen time and time again on youtube
true soldiers are few and far between. hooligan is one of them. but oh! he's over thirty, so never mind.
have you ever *listened* to a grandmother?
you seem to think that communication is about 'battles' and 'victories'--interesting metaphors, considering that you claim to be anti-war
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
No, I came into this conversation because of rhosey's statement towards you.
I am anti-war, not anti-confict. Confict is inescapable, and is evident in every action you or I have ever made, from our first breath to our last.
grandma does have loads of wisdom. some of the most perceptive people I have ever met were over the age of 65.
And yet still, many more are some of the most closed minded people I have ever met.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
the young of today are the way they are because of the elders that hold power, that influence them to think only for the system.
And guess what? those elders are the way they are because of the elders that did the same fucking shit to them.
they could have ended the system then, but instead embraced it. The few that took a stand, were ordered removed by that era's elders.
Perhaps wisdom is over-rated.
or at the very least, mis-labeled.
inablity to read appears to transend the age gap
phuq1deology 3 years ago
where do you get this storyline that people have embraced the system, phuq?
the only people who fully embrace it are batshit insane, and they crash and burn pretty quickly. most people can't stand the system.
i suggest that you read 'elements of refusal', an anthology of resistance to civilization throughout history
by the way, did you get my main point? i keep thinking you didn't get my main point, because you never address it :^)
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
then allow me to address it now.
Your main point is the percieved irony of what you think I said. And in that, its true.
But then, one would have to look no futher then the computer Im using right now to find irony in what I say.
and yes, I am playing into the rifts created for us.
but only because that symphony has been blairing in my ears for over 20 years.
And with the exception of people like you and hooligan, I have found little to make me want to shake it.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
why does it not surprise me that you didn't get my main point after i stated it twice?
why does it not surprise me that in all the words you wrote on this page, you didn't address that crucial point once?
why does it not surprise me that you think my main point would be about *you*?
you are well on your way to being one of the closed-minded old farts that you think are at the root of the problem, phuq
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
I guess thats kind of like how you have missed my point.
And took offence to something that was not directed to anybody.
and the felonious and his making assumptions, while he know nothing of me.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
unless the point is hidden, Ive touched on all your points.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
that did not stop you from encouraging and rooting for this self-absorbed, closed mined fool as little as a few comments ago.
I am far from the embodiement of my revolution, but so are you.
you share in the cultural traits, you dispise.
You, who would use a monster, until that monster becomes unleashed.
I told you what I was a year ago, ms. PC.
I also said that I was fine with what I was, and had no problem becoming the monster I wanted to destroy...
phuq1deology 3 years ago
...
and also said that I understood that I would have to be exiled because of that taint.
what's your excuse?
I know what I am, do you know who you are?
phuq1deology 3 years ago
phuq wow you are completely off base
you continue to see this conversation as a series of personal attacks
i have taken nothing personally, as i said before, and i have meant nothing personally
you missed my main point. i stated it twice, quite clearly. it has nothing to do with you. it has to do with the division between young and old which keeps everything firmly in place. if you truly saw this, you'd say wildly different things.
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
maybe.
But I did answer that.
and Ill say it again.
it is true, division will destroy us,
but I have had little shown to me, with the exception of people like you and hooligan
to make me WANT to close the percieved gap.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
'rooting' for you? this isn't a video game, phuq. it is a *conversation*. did i call you a fool? or are you calling yourself one?
if you want to win, consider yourself the victor. you win. you have totally pwned me.
when you want to actually communicate, let me know.
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
you did not call me a fool.
and by rooting, I meant suportive or in agreement.
I was being bombarded by two people.
shit happens.
which is why to YOU, I will apologize.
sorry.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
i've kind of lost the thread, phuq, but the bottom line is i support you--i wouldn't be writing to you if i didn't. and i know the feeling of being bombarded on youtube. comments are in and of themselves a difficult way to communicate.
i trust what we can all learn from this is that we need to give both the young and the old more benefit of the doubt
i was talking to an old white male last night and was pleasantly surprised by what he said about how we need to build community
i thought of you
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
Nothing I say, I claim as truth, penniless.
facts are facts
opinions are opinions
truth is as elusive as it ever was.
Everything I say in terms of opinion is based on personal observation, sitting down personally, and personally have conversations with people.
I could also tell you that in my observation, the majority of the people who had closed minds were middle-aged white men.
Does that mean I think all middle-aged white men are closed minded?
no.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
would the truth exist, if falsehood was not there to confirm it?
phuq1deology 3 years ago
Hiya phuq,
I used to feel the same way, when I was a young'un. Peace2U!

I truely hate this 500 character limit. Im makes my ussual long winded self seem like an ass.
I dont think all hippies are like that, and I dont think old people have perma-frozen minds.
Simple psychology fueled what I TRIED to get out.
But I have noticed a lot of old hippies that do in fact call me unoriginal ect.
Dont take offence. Im the farthest thing from a generalist. Generalizations do occur though, then you are word constrained.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
okay phuq, gonna give it one more try. i trust youre listening.
this is why i dont like youtube debates, because i raise important points that go unanswered, and then the respondent says things like dont take it personally when i said absolutely nothing that would make you think i took it personally—this is not about me, but about the future of life on this planet. get that. i dont give a damn about youtube otherwise.
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
*you're
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
if the people of this planet are going to liberate themselves from the deathgrip of industrial civilization, theyre gonna have to start trusting each other, like they did for 99% of human existence.
can you not see how fragmentation and division are at the *core* of the success of industrial civilization? are you aware of black-on-black crime, & why it is encouraged? the division between old and young is deadly—it means the end of community, & true community means freedom from the system.
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
doesnt it seem odd to you, a free thinker, that you have the same ideas about older people that the dominant culture wants you to have, ideas are reinforced everywhere in the media? turn on any television and you will see old people suck messages.
what originality has to do with anything is beyond me. we dont need original thinkers, just clear thinkers. and more than that, we need people with open hearts.
pennilesscripple 3 years ago
when I talk to older people about younger people and the future of this planet, they tremble in fear.
they see people who are insanely absorbed into themselves, popular culture, consumerism, and electronic devices, who lack basic life skills, insight, imagination, passion, and, most of all, compassion.
what am I to tell them? that there are a few exceptions? are you one of the exceptions?

Talk about narcissistic. To think that the human race is significant enough on this planet, Never mind the United States, is ludicrous. We couldn't do it if we tried. I'm talking like if we released everything you think to be destructive, including exploding all available weaponry at once this planet would still survive. We are insignificant as a whole and you think you can make a difference. Because you rant? Crazy.

It's endless nonsense I'm seeing
rhosey001 3 years ago
When Pearl Harbor was attacked, guess what! It was not part of the U.S., it was however a legitimate Military target. Our people stood behind the president to until he died. Today we are attacked on our own soil and it is not a legitimate target it is a city. 3,000 are killed, far more than in pearl which was not defenseless. Our Countrymen today chose to abandon the President and blame him for the attack and even for natural disasters. Then the elect a commie. I'm done.
rhosey001 3 years ago
rhosey, how was Iraq a threat to our freedom? How did Iraq tie in to the attack on our soil? Wasted energy you say? What about the energy and life spent on this bullshit war? Oh, and as far as "we" are doing what we can for the environment, that happens to be a ridiculous statement in my opinion. Who cares about freedom if what is needed to sustain life itself no longer exists? All that aside, what does freedom mean to you? You can do only what you are allowed to. This is freedom to you?
runnygrits 3 years ago
It wasn't Iraq that threatened our freedom we were still at war with them from 1991 and escalated it with the full knowledge that the terrorists would come to us there. They did. Why is that important? It is important because we started the fight in Afghanistan which is a mountainous region loaded with caves. Kinda like the jungle warfare in vietnam they know the terrain we don't. Fight in an open desert, cool. Very few obstacles tanks usable etc. Save American live and still kill the terrorists
rhosey001 3 years ago
And the definition of a "terrorist" is?...
are you aware that the United states remains the only country to ever be charged with terrorism.
But I guess if the iran/contra thing was important, you would know about it, right?
um, no.
phuq1deology 3 years ago

when I see events strung together in such connectivity as to inspire awe, That gives good indications that its mostly bullshit.

You want true PROPAGANDA?
try looking up the where every western country gets it news from.
2 agencies control the truth. It just so happens that many in with ties to those agencies also happen to be bankers. hmmm...
what comes from the control of information and the currency we build our lives around?

Yeah, that's what every body said about vietnam too. All the propaganda came out of the white house. They conveniently forgot that in vietnam and WWII the white house was controlled by democrats. Liberals like yourself that think only republicans a war mongers. you ain't seen nothing yet kid. I'm betting Obama accelerates the war in Afghanistan and restarts the draft and we lose at least as many in Afghanistan as in vietnam. that was 58,000. I refuse to capitalise vietnam cause I was there.

see, wrong again.
Im not a liberal, or conservative. For one to have a political ideology one has to believe in the political system.
Politicans are all the same.
Im betting obama excellerates the war too!
why? because America has not had an "elected" offical in a very long time.
want truth?
"government is the shadow cast on society by big business".
Its all about the cash, and always has been.
control through cash, and cash through control.

Goodbye.

proxy corperations take the fall every day. Such is business. Such is the definition of a corperation.
"Cash is meaningless". Is that why you are chained to it?

Government deserves no allegiance and is a venomous tool of those least deserving of power.

were you listening to me, neo, or were you looking at the girl in the red dress?"

Go figure.
rhosey001 3 years ago
I know. Im not one to talk of things I do not have knowledge of.
Kennedy has a famous speech where he basically calls out the bankers who really control the world.
Kennedy then gets shot in the face.
It is about money, but not for the sake of money.
Money (currency) is a tool used to solidify power, and/or give power a physical property.
what is power? control.
as such, money is now one-in-the-same with power and control.
Its a game that has been played for 10 000 years.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
Power and control is the first sensible thing you have said. That is exactly right. That is why in this Country we have three branches of government. So nobody gets complete power and control. They call it checks and balances. It has worked for 234yrs. It's the longest standing Constitution in the world today. Our system of government is by no means perfect. It just happens to work better than any other in existence today. All three branches fight for power and control. That's why it works.

because the black economy does'nt exist....
phuq1deology 3 years ago
See this is what happens when you rely on the press for your information. They are not telling you the history of the United States and they won't they want you running scared. So do the democrats. This economy is not yet as bad as it was in the 1970's under Jimmy Carter. The press is saying it's the worst since the great depression. That began in 1929with the stock market crash and people taking all of their money out of the banks to stuff in their pillows and mattresses. You see that be afraid

qui?
the black economy
black as in the black market.
Its a well documented fact that the united states supplies most black market firearms found all over the world.
they profit off of selling weapons to both sides of a conflict.
drugs too
all this happens without ever leaving its initial "branch".
the government is a sham, man. yours and mine.
its simply a stage for the wealthy elite to play in, completely removed from the mayham and destruction they cause.
read.
phuq1deology 3 years ago
even though I was not refering to it, I agree.
Why? because the market is in fact, NOT Free.
the economy is manipulated at will by the bankers who also hold majority stakes in all 7corperate powerhouses.
but I want the economy to crash. completely fucking bottom out, world wide.
And I want people to take the power back that is rightfully theirs. take the freedom that is theirs to do with as they desire.
This is much bigger then the politics game.
this is about survival.
