  • This is great. There is a real moral justification to this. Tax cleverly disguised as punishment should be resisted

  • you left your finger prints on the evidence....also, you left the evidence! =)

  • Or you could just paint it.

  • A large trash bag and some duct tape will also do the trick. Well, not destroy, but disable. And if you get caught, It'll be a lot less expensive for you.

  • heroes, nice touch leaving the pick in it. Will make a a lot of drivers days.

  • Love it, getting ideas for some local cameras

  • ERrmmm... why not just cover the lense...?

  • @slickgamer too easy to fix.

  • no, the front of it.

    THE LENS.

  • seems uneffective

  • good job

  • Totálny magor !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Why not using a shotgun?

  • i don't know which one it is but there is a video on here where they strap an explosive onto these and blow it up. shame we couldn't get rid of all the camera's in britain, that would teach 'em a lesson

  • fingerprints!!!!!!!!! and you numbnuts put the evidence on youtube

  • hahaha funny as

  • I love how he left the pickaxe still attached

  • HE HE HE NICE!!

  • thermite?? basicly rust and iron filing! lol, google it :D easy to make, hard to get it to lite! i think u can use magnesium to lite it, :P it is cool stuff though!

  • pathetic dude, you couldnt even penetrate the fuker

  • This is great....great to see people take their rights back! These cams are completely unconstitutional! I have the RIGHT to travel safely and freely, without anyone making laws around it.

  • lol.. made my day. Thanks.

  • bullshit..use thermite..5000 degrees will melt the entire thing to the ground

  • @losersoftheleft where would you get thermite?

  • u gotts hang a tire on it, fillit with gasoline then lite the tire

  • Yes, necklacing it with a tyre is an excellent method of ensuring the motorist is sent the bill for 40k.

Every time a camera is burnt, GATSO make a huge profit, SERCO who import & install them stay in business also making a large profit, plus countless motorists who otherwise wouldn't have got points & a fine now do because mobile enforcement is stepped up to recoup costs.

Every time a camera is torched, the major players in the industry come out on top.

    Burning cameras is sensible?

  • So say is everyone kept to the speed limit, and no fines were sent what would happen then?...

  • @m4553y What would happen then? You'd wake up.

  • @lollygaggle Are you paid a salary to haunt any video to do with law and order? I bet you are one of those people that have every police forces number on your mobile incase someone drops a fag end on the ground or looks generally shifty.

  • There's a cheeper, less dangerous way of dealing with speed cameras, espcially ones like these, that are in arms reach. Spray Paint.

You vigilantes should be glad your cameras are so close to the ground where you are. The ones i'm familiar with here in the US are around 20-30 feet off the ground (what is that? around 7-10 meters?)

  • i hope u did not leave ur prints on that pick axe if u got ur prints taken

  • good work!

  • LOL HAHAHAH

  • You should have hit the glass even if you didn't break the camera it would have distorted the view.

  • i am not responsible if you do decide to do this its just a idea get a pece of clingfilm cut to shape of the camara lense wright slogans on like f**k off etc also black shoe polish yh easy to get off but easy to put back on and very very cheap also might permantly stain the lens and quite hard to get off anyway and when a cop goes past all they see is what looks like a nomal camara and only know when time to change film will probaly also the new bomb proof ones also no long term damage

  • I am lost by the 'writing slogans' suggestion?

The protective reinforced glass cover is 1.5" from the camera lens - the lens is set to record acceptably sharp images at the distance of the secondary check marks on the carriageway. Anything written on the housing's glass cover will simply only reduce the contrast of the resulting photographs & not be in any way legible.

Plus in the UK, the film is changed weekly, & the glass can be swapped in seconds by opening the housing.

  • well if there is a camara by your house you can simpaly go and redo it not that hard and renember they got the pic but not the plate etc but put it on thick so not so see through

as with slogans if they cant see number plate/lines on road they cant do ya and also clingflim could distort if the light catches it (i was ment to say wrap allaround camara not just lence

  • Silly cow.........Done it all wrong.

  • Pickaxe it and pour petrol through the holes and then set it on fire... that should do it

  • Damaging static speed cameras is very shortsighted.

Invariably they will be replaced & the bill presented to the motorist - mobile enforcement being stepped up meaning countless drivers who otherwise wouldn't have got points & a fine now do. This all happens just because a camera was deliberately damaged, so the person who burnt it is directly responsible for all that additional suffering.

Think things through before allowing a compromised ego to govern your actions.

  • oh well... well I was just talking hypothetically as I have never been caught by a camera... I was just thinking about avoiding points and a fine... did not think of it like that... But i guess youre right.

  • Thank you, I acknowledge your humility. usually when such things are pointed out, it culminates in a string of expletives & accusations about incestuous sexual relations with my mother.

Your ability to be humble is noted.

  • Erm... OK...

  • @lollygaggle motherfucker

  • @alfaturboV6 I see the root of your confusion now - you are located in the colonies. Speed enfocement in the UK is steered by ACPO Guidelines which means the base threshold is set at 10% + 2m, so no offences are recorded at 2 - 3 kph over the posted limit.

Static speed cameras are actually now very seldom damaged (in the UK), people realise they are simply replaced at their own expense & the companies who supply & install get richer & the designs get better.

  • haha fingerprints

  • you should of hit the lens of the camera that would of fucked it up big time

  • Nitrogen, sulphuric acid or chainsaw could work too.

  • Dude, don't leave the pickax there. >>

  • Look up how to make/use thermite and try that next time, reduce that robo-tax collector into a puddle of molten steel

  • Řidičům z Moravských Budějovic došla trpělivost a po svém se vypořádali s radarem, který na již prakticky neobydleném úseku před koncem města kontroluje rychlost 50 km/h. Zasadili mu sadu poctivých ran kopáčským náčiním a i přes pancéřování jej zepředu i zboku poškodili.

  • lmao !

  • Beautiful. Hate those "Big Brother" eyesores all over town.

  • Two Ohio cities Chillicothe and my city Heath passed a camera ban of reflex on November 3 2009

If you want to beat redflex once and for all.Check our website banthecamera Heath, Ohio. You don't have to put up with this any moreIf you need more info about how we beat it send me a message and I'll give you all the information that you will need to get rid of redfles for good

  • @wanoblick - What are the proposed contingencies to counter 24 hour speeding if Redflex is removed? It obviously cannot be 'more offficers' due to the geographical area that needs covering.

In the UK, there is a percentage who dislike static speed enforcement, but many locations benefit from permanent cameras & cannot be physically manned 24/7.

Are you of the mind to simply ignore excessive speeding & red light jumpers?

  • Was that RUNE PICKAXE? It kicked some serious ass!

  • destroy that thing there all evil

  • the pick axe is a good look

  • Just for info, having researched this stuff, tax payer's money is not used to fund speed enforcement. Take no notice of that idiot looly.

  • The company that makes those cameras takes a profit off of every ticket. In this world of power and money you better learn quickly that things are not done for your safety. Big companies, which simply buy out government, don't give a shit about you.

  • Makes a profit out of every ticket?

    Firstly, name the company.

Secondly, supply evidence to support your claim.

  • There are videos on here that show news reports that expose it. A division of lockheed martin is one company that makes them.

  • You typed;

'The company that makes those cameras takes a profit off of every ticket'.

No, not 'one' company - THE company. What model of speed camera is featured in the above clip? You have not named the company or supplied proof.

  • I'm not going to get you the proof, I told you its on youtube, your not a little kid and if you care you will find it on your own. If you don't bother looking for the videos with the news channels doing a story about it then you don't care to see the other side and I really don't give a fuck. I'm not going to make the effert to find proof just for you, your just another mindless zombie who lets government and media control the way you think. Life is not all about safety, theres more to it.

  • Just before my mum passed away, she called me to her bedside. She took my hand & whispered;

'The moment someone resorts to using bad language in a debate in favour of a reasoned argument, they have lost'.

I have found that to be true in every instance.

  • lollygagle, what a fucking spastic you are./...

  • Hi nem, thanks for responding.

I understand that many have very specific views regarding speed enforcement, but most is based upon a real lack of understanding how it functions. When factual information is subsequently pointed out, their only comeback is just meaningless ranting waffle concerning hypertonia (?).

Can you elaborate somewhat as what precisely you find disconcerting about my comments?

  • @lollygaggle i know ur post was old but i will fucking elaborate! the reason why it pisses us off is because the speed cameras are put in places that do not need them. there are too many examples but 1 for u on the A127 comming up to a half roundabout the speed limit is 40 and there is a camera that was put there when it first changed guess what its still there for what reason? u think we cant judge how fast to go round a roundabout?

  • @goalsave1 So the camera in question on the A127 doesn't generate any speed detections because everyone is travelling within the posted threshold & they see the camera in good time?

  • @lollygaggle clearly i have not seen every car go past it so i wouldent know but in all the times i have been through there i have never seen it get anyone. it is a waste of money as i said its insulting the police tell us how fast we can take the roundabout do we realy need this nannying on the road when our test is one of the hardest in the world

  • @goalsave1 Such camera sites are identified by the local authority, not the police. They put pressure tubes down & monitor using the 85th percentile system.

I know of high yield sites that you would have to sit at for hours just to witness the camera be activated.

Posted thresholds deployed by the council dictate the speeds you travel at - NOT the police. Police have nothing to do with signage,

  • @lollygaggle dont give a crap who puts them there or who works them they are a joke

  • @goalsave1 Hi, thanks for responding, but I was answering your very obvious inaccurate view about the police & static cameras. You are free to view them however you choose but it will not alter the fact your letterbox will rattle if you get detected by one.

  • As you have clearly logged in within the past day & received a copy of my request - you are obviously unable to fulfill it.

Oh well, another one bites the dust.

    Bye bye Sooty, bye bye.

  • Dude!Young people is dying all over the world and that has nothing to do with speed cameras, I respect your point of view of saving lives but read the statistics they dont save lives they just raise money so young people can carry on dying in Iraq!lol people is dying in Iraq so gloucester/horay/sampasalol can have freedom of speach like you. dont bring iraq into this! that aint honorable. appealing fines does not work! and that creates rage hence the authorities just want £,even when not guilty

  • I love it!

  • He did the right thing.

  • To sampsalol: "he did the right thing"???

He has just vandalised a very expensive piece of monitoring equipment. We the tax payer have got to replace it, money that could of been spent on local schools, youth clubs etc. How could that possibly be the "RIGHT THING" ?

  • Because with a couple grand you can't practicly do anything to improve schools. Besides, public money is being spent on ridicilous targets anyways. And that speed camera doesn't cost more than 2000 euros, even though they say they cost 30 000euros or some other ridicilous number of money. Think about it, a casing 200e, camera 1500e, pole 50e, workhours to install 450e.

Those cameras are not installed for traffic safety, their only purpose is to gather money.

  • I blew these off.

  • LMAO

i wish i knew who you were so i could buy you a case of beer

  • Shouln't of left the pick axe. lol

  • well done bruv looks better now lol

i would use dynamite on that shit =D

  • lol

Hmmm... I see a problem.. If your finger prints weren't known to the Police before hand, they certainly are now...

You didn't leave that axe hanging out of the side of the cam did you? I don't think the defence that it's some kind of modern-art installation would 'butter many parsnips' with the Judge! ;o)

  • well done mate!

    fucking pigs

  • Fucking pigs?

The police haven't put it there.

  • this is wot every1 needs to do 2 speed camaras

the best 1 i hav seen is put exspanding form in them so they blow up

  • that sounds awsome! Link please???

  • I'd say a shotgun would be quicker. :)

  • A shotgun would be quicker? Some bright spark tried that on the local by-pass - some of the pellets bounced off the plate steel straight back into his left eyeball & the sound of the blast at 02:30 woke everyone for half a mile.

When the police arrived, he was still lying on the grass clutching the gun, screaming he'd gone blind.

  • Dangerous.

  • thankyou

  • you dumb ass why'd ya leave the pick ax there

  • looks cool....

  • lolol

  • Hooray! Fucking pigs trying to push their big brother bullshit down our throats!

  • nice one !

  • i love you!

  • yesssss

  • Good job!

  • Lepší by bylo tím krumpáčem vymlátit čočky.

Docela efektní by byla destrukce termitem ( směs 1/4 práškového hliníku a 3/4 oxidu železitého ) - vyvíjí teplotu 3000 °C.

  • well played, try angle grinder to pole next time lads, keep up the good work

  • High Fives all around!

we need more heros like that.

  • good work, fuck that thing up!!

  • Well done. I like the civil disobedience as well. I also thought a paint ball attack would be possible and a real pain in the ass to clean up.

  • COOL!! Fucking kill that speed camera!

  • Thank you. I am all about civil disobedience!

  • i find stuff like this is hilarious

  • the best thing is to look for or make a small hole in the side + then fill it with expanding foam, the stuff that turns hard...

  • Instead of making holes in the side, why not try to twat the pointy end of the pick axe through the front of the camera and smash the glass?
