Now, had Antoinette bid $36000 even, she would've won both showcases b/c she would've ended up with a difference of only $26 and Gina would've ended up with a difference of only $81
Which means that there would be a difference of only $55
Well for Season 40, if is someone is off by $500 they win both showcases. Inflation! If off by $50 or less not only both showcases they won a million bucks. Have confetti falling for a DSW.
@GameShowNetwork To be honest, I wouldn't want to see a million dollar winner on daytime TV to just take the current record ($151,000+ on $ale of the Century) so easily. I would much rather see a winner on Pay the Rent clean house and get it the hard way.
Over $110K in stuff given away on a 1/6er(assuming More or Less and Punchy count as losses), would still have been six figures even if Push Over was lost. MR must be thrilled?
Egads, what's gotten into TPiR recently? When do we see three episodes with incredible showcase bids in a row (with two DSWs no less)?! Something tells me there's going to be a slow week coming up...
Wonder what the deal was with all the "I Love Lucy" stuff today? First Punch-A-Bunch, who's still on a sickening losing streak, and then the bonus candy bar in the SC. I sure don't have the slightest clue. ^^
@hulk4ever76 By using Google (just tried this), you find out that Lucille Ball (a victim of heart disease, who knew?) is the focus of the fashion show campaign for Heart Truth this year. It was never explained on the show but that pretty much has to be it.
I agreed after the guitar guy, this show has gone over the top. If there was a JTS moment, it was probably today. That said, she looked shocked when she saw Amber with ANOTHER license frame. She had no idea.
@cooksta4prez08 As said above (but not directly at you), the record is 8, done twice. So we have a gut shot at that suddenly after a big drought last season.

Wow! This happened on my birthday!

You could say this almost makes up for the lack of DSWs last season.

Has anyone notice lately this season when the contestant had overbid, it's been a double showcase.
TheTransformr162 10 months ago
Wow, what a episode. Two guest stars & DSW twice in a row.

That was great, and there was just a DSW last Thursday, so it's very rare that there would be 2 DSW in 4 days!

Uber-sweet, but I've got hopes for TWO moreDSW's before S39 is done. The record is 8 DSW's in one season back when Bob was hosting.

I'm a bit worried we're SUPER overbudget now...
