  • I was cleaning my submariner with CDA and alcohol, (BAD combination) I ended up losing the luminous dot from the bezel. I don't want to spend hundreds on a new ceramic bezel insert when I ONLY need the dot. do you know where I can find one?

  • @hip2dadip : Go to your Rolex Dealer.

  • 0:24 Kind of brutal but if the watch is a beater then this is fine. I like mine to look showroom fresh. So I use plastic tools for bezels.

  • Is the bezel removal the same on a 1973 5513? It has the bi-directional autolock bezel (no click).

I don't want to change the insert, only give the watch a good clean.

  • No solid end links? WTF going on here

  • @Will403536 : No SEL on vintage Rolex.

  • wat about the ridged part around the actual bezel insert do they sell those too?

  • Cool..

  • everytime I put back the pin the watch stops moving and when i get it out its back to work .....WHAT TO DO >>>>PLEASE HELP!

  • Two jewelers wanted to charge me between $40-60 dollars today,to do this simple change.

  • Can you believe thieving Rolex dealers wanted to charge me between £60 - £70 to do this which obvously takes under 3 minutes. That's quite an hourly rate by anyone standards. Cheeky B.......S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A brand new original Submariner Rolex bezel insert (non diamond or gold) only costs £27.00 inc VAT, so dont get ripped off if you want to change it. Rolex get a rough ride for ripping people off but i find more often than not its the dealers who inflate prices!

  • good video

  • Is this the same way for the day date models ?

  • @pmparise : It's not the same bezel so I think it's not the same way.

  • Very fast ! Awesome !

  • thanks a lot... great DIY

  • Maybe next time you should let this into the hands of a professional.

  • @nandutzu : Tell me why?

Does the watch is broken? I don't think so. I've done this operation a hundred times.

A professional teached me how to do it.

  • @cedipro The watch isn't broken but it probably got a few scratches on it. It should be handled with more care in a more proper environment, especially a fine watch like this.
