This should be the Street Fighter that the players want to play for years. For instance, all the characters are playable and using current street fighter game engines. Supers and more use of specials. Capcom should have somebody in Japan who is willily to make this game happen. Forget the Alphas, Street Fighter 2, 3, and 4 make this game a reality. Great footage!

Oneday, I hope they make a Street Fighter where you can play as all the characters in every game ever made, including this one. It would be good to play as the other characters in this game because when this came out you could only fight as Ryu and Ken. Its no wonder that this game wasn't as popular as its succesors.

i played the like ayear ago. street fighter has come a long way . i ll leave it at that. yes! this is not the origanal shadow moves werent even thought of yet. (specials) in the origonal you could only be ryu. this game is nowhere near to par with the curent games . hell no where near to par with the first street fighter 2. unless your a huge fan and wonder where some of the current charecters come from play it. if not dont bother. its so bad its brutal.

I've played this on those ultracade remakes in arcades. this game is sooo tough. pulling off command moves is a pain, but when you do its sweet cause a fireball will take off like 1/3 health. for those that want to play the original look for the ultracade remakes in arcades.

Mugen for PC. It is a fighting engine that you can modify by making your own characters/stages/lifebars/gam­es etc. Or you can download (tons) existing ones that ppl have made online. This a full mugen game and cn modify this one unfortunaely.

The Shoryuken is also incredibl slow and does not have good range in the original. I love the original Street Fighter. I think this remake would be a lot more interesting if it were true to the original. I think watering it down and greatly reducing damage makes it too much like all the other games.

In the original, it took Mike only a couple punches to finish you off. Did the designers of this give him a greatly increased moveset, or do you have to hit your opponent with a ton of basic hits?

As far as telling me to play the original... I have played it. I own an arcade cabinet and I have it on Capcom Clasics volume 2 on PS2. I've got reviews for both up on Gamefaqs as lioncub4.

Are the post-match voices removed also? That was another cool thing about the original that the later ones didn't have. You've got a lot to learn before you beat me! Try again kiddo!
