@supermasters1 Winky is a middle wt & has only fought at 147 once ('92). Floyd wasn't even a pro yet lol & has been 160+ since '05. Floyd was still @ 140 then so idk why you bring up Winky lol. Tszyu was offered to fight a few times & said no. Cotto was @ the Gatti fight & was supposedly next but he shied away from it after he saw what happened. Hatton took his place. Margarito would have looked like Baldomir did. Williams' loss to Quintana screwed him & then he couldnt make 147 after 2008.

@supermasters1 He would have made them all look as easily stupid in the ring. Im not even hyped if May and Pac fight after pacs performance against Marquez (one of the best Skilled Technical Counter Punchers/boxer of this era). Anybody who can move and take angles away from PAC will give him problems. Since he moved up he has fought stationary fighters that wanna trade punches so they dont stand a chance against PAC

@ThEiLLtechNICIAN floyd don't fight backing down he shoulder rolls and potshots you. he has very different style from jmm who backsup in circles and counters with combos. also jmm is in a perpetural feign u don't know when he will throw a punch. floyd you know that after a punch he will counter so u better back out after an offense that is why stylistically amir is a better match up for floyd than pac coz he throws combos then backs out.

@jcsuae Dude Im not hating on Amir at all. I like him and the way he fights cuz he has a good mix between offense and defense but neither better then mayweathers.I dont think Amir would stand a greater chance then pac cuz when amir throws them combos hes gettin countered or roll on most of them before he gets a chance to back out. and when Floyd attacks i dont see amir able to counter. you will not outbox the best....you have a better chance with a relentless attack.

@Cdn309 he duck margarito for baldomir 8 million for margo 4 million against baldomir. he also duck konstza tzu way before hatton fougth kontsa when he returned from his retirement only then ricky fought kontza it was his last fight comming back from retirement. corrales was dehydrated. baldomir and gatti were paper champ even floyd said that.

@jcsuae His team planned to go in to negotiations with Tszyu's team after the Gatti fight but by then he had lost to Hatton so there's no way that fight could have ever happened. Baldomir was the real undisputed champion, not some trinket belt holder like Margarito who nobody even knew who he was at the time. Also, FLoyd had just split with Arum and he was then expected to go through negotiations with Arum? Absolutely not. That Corrales excuse is just that, an excuse.

@Antrizzle2009 Amirs fights are very interesting though I loved his performance in the maidana fight but cuz he out boxed a relentless attacker (love the body shots he dropped him with in the 1rst). In that tenth round he showed heart but should learn somthing from that round. He ran from him 2 much when he was hurt. he needs to learn to hold and work on his D to block some of those punches but then he would be just as good as Floyd. I am curious to see how he progresses.

@jcsuae LOL you need to watch the before and after press confrences for the marquez 3 fight. watch what he says before and after when they ask Pac if he wants to fight Floyd. I was baggin up, his body language AND THE ANSWERS HE GIVES SAYS IT ALL. i was even suprised. Khan even says hes not ready for floyd since the marquez fight so I dont think Khan is ready either.

@1234pottsie Boxing is also a business. Manny fights more because Bob Arum is his boss & schedules his fights. Thats a fact. Mayweather after beating Oscar became the new Cash Cow & he can now generate 40 million or more a fight. He doesn't need to fight more then twice a yr. But After beating Oscar & Hatton he retired for 2 yrs. If he takes time off in this stage of his career he's earned it. Manny has only been a star since 2008 by beating Oscar. 10 of Manny fights, 3 were Floyds left overs!

Floyd's confidence is still at -0% after Pacquiao challenged him when Max Kellerman asked Pac about Mayweather. Pac said "Let's bring it on. Let's fight on May 5 for the fans". Forget what Arum says about Pac-JMM 4. Mayweather Jr has not accepted Pac's challenge yet. Now I like Floyd Sr bcoz he recently said in a radio interview that he wants Floyd Jr to fight Pacquiao on May 5th only if Pac takes the test. Everyone including ants on earth wants Pac-FMJ on May 5th except 'Floyd Mayweather Jr'.
