i spent probably 60% of my leveling in wow in the barrens(only got to 30 and my acount got cancelled) back around when bc came out. just got back into it and now barrens chat is dead. that was one of my favorite parts of the game

My troll warrior... I remember when i got this quest in Razor Hill, to take the recruit letter to Far Watch Post. I saw the map and that was in The Barrens. I was like: Barrens? I remember it from W3. Then that warrior quest, to find that Orc on the hill. He got that quest for an awesome axe. You needed to kill Quilboars, and recover a box of supplies. I done it. Then i hitted the Crossroads. The adventure began. I was very suprised how often the Crossroads were attacked.

i rmember when i was around lvl 6 me and my other frends who were orcs and undead, we use to explore the barrens and kill alot.. and we did that for hours.. brings back these memories hearing this music lawl.. wow emotion -_-

Mankrik's Wife is south of the Crossroads, in 1 of like 3 houses. Keep going south, you'll see them.

The stolen silver is west of Northwatch Hold.

I now understand why the Barrens are such a huge zone. It lies between many Alliance and Horde controlled territories and is a key strategic point.
