@kavehparmas It's very rare you get Ella with emotion in her songs.. usually she could take a sad song and make it a happy one. I've seen Nina at the Montruex.. she def had a different spin on the song, and Sarah Vaughan's is yet another interpretation. I posted this because it's rare .. especially for Ella she only did that song live between 77-80

@Gregg30 Carol had it right... the perfect guilty pleasure of a song for that sketch. Actually, I came to this post because I thought it was a hoax- and there are plenty on YouTube. Ella was total class and taste. It's the last thing in the world I'd expect her to sing.

@defundthewar Ella tried to do many pop tunes in the 60s and 70s and gave them a try, the song "Feelings" was on her tour list of songs from 1977-1978 The only reason I posted it was the rarity of it, and I thank you for enjoying it.

actually this song was played to death in the 70's ...it's refreshing to hear alternate treatments of the song such as Sarah, Ella and even Nina Simone.....I think they had a clip of Lyndsay Waggoner singing it on The Bionic Woman from 1977 too....she did a good job too!
