@Jayf283d1 Sorry to take so long to get back to you. Had issues with the new google password setup... finally figured it out. I was using Trails End 307. I don't think she spooked from the scent, but rather, I stupidly handled it with my hands when putting it out. I think she was smelling the scent, plus my scent! But she was still interested. If only my dad was setting where I was he woulda had a perfect shot!

@NowKnowsForever Sorry to take so long to get back to you. Had issues with the new google password setup... finally figured it out. I love my Elite Synergy. if it matters to you now, im sure you have a new bow. Dad got a 09 Elite GT500, and the valley just sucked. But he switched the cams to the 2010 GT500's and wow! Totally new bow! Its sick, hes holing like 4 pounds at 60 peak. It almost feels like the bow is locked up! But i still like my Synergy, I plan to keep it MANY more years.

Great footage! I would be too trigger happy to spend time filming it! We are on the edge of whitetails up here, but when we get them, around 200 pounds is common! I've only shot 2 with a bow, the rest with rifles.

@biggestfishboy man, thats a big deer! Where I got that deer, there are lots of em, but all small. This was just a bad year to hunt because we had a late frost that destroyed the mast.

nice, where i hunt in south TX you have to be invisible. setting up without completly brushing in without it looking like you changed the scenery is the only way a mature buck will come in.

I bet, i have heard deer in texas can jump the string a lot easier then other places.? I had the blind set up 3 weeks before I hunted it, thats why it wasn't brushed in or any thing. Plenty of time for them to get use to it being there.
