@laki22zr Most european countries, that haven't been raped by people slaughtering fish, have well stocked lakes and streams. I'd believe that in Serbia, Russia, Poland etc. they go over seas to catch fish, kill anything they catch just for the fun of it. No sport, it's ridiculous.

i think worm, red maggot and corn is a great way of bringing the tench in, have caught countless amounts of tench using this cocktail give it a go and let me kno how you get on.

worm is and always will be the best tench bait, lob worm or chopped. second is bread or sweetcorn, but these days with all the sweet pellets etc and the amount of them get fed into waters pellets are terrific to.

I think the number 1 Tench bait of all time is bread flake but sweetcorn is a very close 2nd. I love catching Tench on a nice soft float rod, just cant beat it.

worm will always be the number one tench bait but the largest of tench recorded are normally carp anglers catching them on carp boilies by accident from large gravel pits etc. Lovely fish and very hard fighters altho they are not the doctor fish i grew up believing they will always remain one of my favs :o) 5*s vid.

i catch loads of tench up the canal by me they fight good erm just throw soe ground bait were u gonna be fishing mix with ur choice then just use one red caster and bronze maggot on the bottom thats wat i did and caught a whopper
