This game may be lacking in quite a few areas, but there's no online experience that can beat Wurm Online when it comes to rewarding team work. I gave up on it, since I'm not that good with people, but I wish I was- this game is one of a kind.

Gotta remember Wurm is a 2D game. I played Runescape since christmas 2004 till sometime October 2009. Wurm is a much better game, simply because the people that play it are decent, smart, nice, kind and generally fun people. Runescape now-a days is full of bots, corruption and kids; or frustrated adults.

I don't want Wurm to have a graphics update though as it would attract unwanted attention.

yeah you need a fairly modern one... also try turning all the settings down, there is a guide on the wiki about which ones you can change

why do you need a series 9 geforce nvidia graphics card to run a only slightly improved graphics RUNESCAPE!?!?!...

no offense to wurm players but so far all i've seen is two different player models...no new armor...and quite mediocre graphics...

the idea is nice though...that everything is made by players...but im not impressed by the lag/lack of creativity and different models..

how the hell can you tell any body apart besides their name thats probably on top of their head? not the game for me.

On RuneScape you can only see like 30 tiles away. On Wurm you can see for miles, all the mountains in the distance in high detail. Although I agree, it is not as optimised as it could be.

um..dude...you probably played for five minutes.

The thing is, you DONT need a series 9. It helps, but no. The reason you need a decent graphics card is because unlike how runescape loads everything in modules - as in you walk 20 or so tiles and you see a "Loading - XX%"..

However, Wurm loads EVERYTHING at once, meaning your CPU, processor, hard drive, graphics/audio cards, and RAM are all processing EVERYTHING in the island at once. Scripts, everything.

Not like runescape.
