alright, can somebody straighten this out for me? i thought the mid-south coliseum was in memphis and was jerry lawler's stomping ground. but bill watts also has a mid south promotion in louisiana, correct? so which mid south is really the mid south? is this watts' outfit or lawler's? and why was there no hullabaloo over the confusion of 2 territories having the same name?
Flair wrestled a Epic series of matches in the Mid-South for the NWA title throughout 1984 and 1985. Faced everyone from Magnum TA. to Kerry Von Erich, to Terry Taylor, to Debiase to Duggun, Murdoch and Hacksaw Butch Reed. Numerous times each. All the time still defending in all the other NWA promotions. Such a schedule would literally kill Cena or Orton. or Batista. All three are just a big bottle of Steroids anyway.
