For what your looking for i would go with the GOPROHD, the contour is great and allows a bit more control over the exposure of the video and you can change the sound setting (i turned it down for the blinding sun and snow) and its smaller but the gopro is excellent and has the picture function as well, i will be getting one too in the future, it will just add to my arsenal, they both have pros and cons

At what settings is this filmed?
I can't choose between the GO PRO WIDE or the CONTOURHD.
I'm looking for a camera that I can mount on my motorcycle/car and were I also would be able to take a picture or make a video in my hand.
I saw on other ContourHD movies that the edges are blurred, the GO Pro doesn't have this problem, also the sound of a GO Pro is better.
But then again, the ContourHD has not such wide vision.
Could u help me out?
