Ahmadinejad is referring to Syria and Lebanon as possible targets. Neither Israel or the US have the balls to attack Iran. Iran publicly stated that it was prepared to lend military support to both those countries if the Israelis or the US attacks them. Hence, the warmongering rhetoric against the Syrians, and Lebanese has diminished as well since those statements were made.

Iran has made it clear that it will give direct military support to either countries should they face an attack from their adversaries. Ahmadinejad is referring to Syria and Lebanon as possible targets. Neither Israel or the US have the balls to attack Iran. Iran publicly stated that it was prepared to lend military support to both those countries if the Israelis or the US attacks them. Hence, the warmongering rhetoric against the Syrians, and Lebanese has diminished as well since those statements were made.

Iran has made it clear that it will give direct military support to either countries should they face an attack from their adversaries. It's sad but it seems that deterrence, and possessing the ability to project force is the only way to keep peace. Nations should co-exist in peace because it is the RIGHT thing to do.

It can't possibly be the case that an oil refinery is more expensive than the development and construction of a nuclear power plant. It just doesn't make sense economically for Iran to generate electricity from nuclear power when they could just build more refineries.
