I've tried both games,HoN and LoL,and I can conclude,that LoL is really crapshit for beginners...I bet LoL players would be walking into bushes in HoN saying,"YOU CAN'T SEE ME HAHAHAHAH" and get killed first.

Out of all pro dota and hon players that switched to lol, only one is still doing well, the other crashed and burned on the competitive scene. Why do so many people compare LoL and HoN? I am no professional, but I can tell that games are far different.

LoL has AI option, and is more beginner friendly, easier to play, but can annoy with less hero options.

HoN doesn't have AI option, DotA-like game, it is harder to play, but graphics and gameplay are more interesting. Heroes are (in my opinion) easier to play since many people know them already.

I am still playing LoL for now, but I'm getting myself a HoN account next week.

MY subscription to WoW ran out the 11th, and I've been playing LoL lately thanks to you, and now that I see HoN, I might want to play that instead. Don't get me wrong, LoL is a pretty neat RTS game and I never play Strategy games till now, but the graphics are just really really low. Seeing as this is very much alike to LoL, HoN almost seems like an upgrade to LoL.

No, I'm not a graphics fanboy. I played Runescape for 2 years, so that says it all when it comes to graphics...

@Shearsy013 HoN is the same as LoL.... without summoner leveling.. talent points.. or runes, LoL has more Strategy depth than HoN. HoN has a really bad player base with even more raging leavers, the LoL community is way better. only thing HoN has over LoL is its graphics. i like cartoony graphics more myself so LoL is a total win for me.

@haku155 Actually, I played HoN for several months, and Dota for over several 8-10 years. And I knew instantly when I played LoL that I would love it more then HoN.

Also, I spent over 500 Euro on LoL over the past months to encourage and the continued existance of RiotGames to keep it floating.

So yes "I suck".
