The demonstration was about immigration reform. Probably most of the demonstrators are US citizens and certainly, the media workers are. The subject of the video is about whether the police were out of line and they certainly look guilty to me. I don't see how anything justifies their selecting people at random to shoot with rubber bullets and for kicking, shoving, whacking with batons, etc. They should have defended against those who through the rocks and bottles ONLY. This is just wrong.
there is video of the group that blocked the street and threw what looked like cans and rocks and you hear the police telling them to get the sticks out of there. I honestly believe the group taunted the police just to cause trouble, you don't make headlines with a quiet peace march do you?
I watched it here on utube it's part of a longer vid, many 20 seconds deals with a group of hispanic men some with covered faces blocking the street with thier bodies and with signs. You see something, I think it's a can bounce off 1 officer and you hear rocks hitting the ground or the buildings or the gear the police are wearing, and 1 officer yells get those sticks out of here and 1 of the men jeering, sorry I don't remember what the vid was titled.

Those parents took their kids to a PEACEFUL demonstration. The only reason it turned violent was because of the POLICE. I find it funny that you can look at that video and defend the actions of the LAPD. It was despicable. What self respecting PERSON will fire anything into a peaceful crowd of unarmed people, including women and children.
From what I saw people were following orders. While they are walking away they are being pushed over, shoved, hit with batons, shot at and intimidated.

The FACT remains that it was an organized peaceful rally. The police knew that children were going to be there and they should have shown restraint in their actions. Looking at the videos parents are not shielding their kids from protestors throwing rocks but police shooting bullets. Their own chief can't even justify what they did.

These jobs were done by U.S. citizens before the illegal alien epidemic and they will be done by U.S. citizens after the illegal aliens are returned to their home countries. The problem with illegal aliens undercutting the fair market pay for these jobs is that it drives down not just the wages for these jobs but all wages for all workers. U.S. citizens will pick fruit and vegetables, clean hotels and cut grass for proper and fair wages.

there are some jobs like cleaning houses/hotels, yard care, farming, etc. That will always be here. Many service jobs will not leave as by necessity they must be close to their clientèle.

Some of these protesters set out to taunt the cops and get a reaction. The cops should have just focused in on the bottle and rock throwers instead of overreacting. It was a tactical error. You can be assurred that these bottle and rock throwers will be back at the next event pulling the same shit but hopefully the cops will be smarter and start filming these agitators and then arresting their asses.

The demonstration was about immigration reform. Probably most of the demonstrators are US citizens and certainly, the media workers are. The subject of the video is about whether the police were out of line and they certainly look guilty to me. I don't see how anything justifies their selecting people at random to shoot with rubber bullets and for kicking, shoving, whacking with batons, etc. They should have defended against those who through the rocks and bottles ONLY. This is just wrong.

I watched it here on utube it's part of a longer vid, many 20 seconds deals with a group of hispanic men some with covered faces blocking the street with thier bodies and with signs. You see something, I think it's a can bounce off 1 officer and you hear rocks hitting the ground or the buildings or the gear the police are wearing, and 1 officer yells get those sticks out of here and 1 of the men jeering, sorry I don't remember what the vid was titled.

Those parents took their kids to a PEACEFUL demonstration. The only reason it turned violent was because of the POLICE. I find it funny that you can look at that video and defend the actions of the LAPD. It was despicable. What self respecting PERSON will fire anything into a peaceful crowd of unarmed people, including women and children.
From what I saw people were following orders. While they are walking away they are being pushed over, shoved, hit with batons, shot at and intimidated.

I have seen vid where rock throwers were using the crowd as cover but it was only a small clip so I'm not going to judge all the protesters based on the actions of a few.

The FACT remains that it was an organized peaceful rally. The police knew that children were going to be there and they should have shown restraint in their actions. Looking at the videos parents are not shielding their kids from protestors throwing rocks but police shooting bullets. Their own chief can't even justify what they did.

Are you nuts? Why do you think ppl from all over the world come here for medical treatment? We are aware why these fucking companies employ cheap labor, and why our jobs have gone bye bye. I am not a corporation. Increasingly, more cities are enacting laws against employers who hire illegals, and landlords that rent to them.

Like Ender said, stay in your own country and put severe pressure on YOUR government. If you risk everything to come here, then risk everything to make change in Mexico, instead of bringing the US down. Treated worse? We educate and finance your kids. You get jobs because you'll accept lower wages. The crime element in your population is out of control. If you don't like the freebies and us letting you march up and down my streets, then LEAVE!

On average, about 25 Americans per DAY are killed by illegals during a crime. The resources meant for Americans are being drained. Many emergency rooms had to be closed because illegals use it for their doctor visits. Wages are being driven down, illegals are now taking jobs that poor Americans DO want. And it's millions of poor invading and demanding things. Next question?

Saddam was a little Hitler festering over there, we took him out, and we should have been out soon after. Bush's approval rating is around 28%. I know more about the American people than you realise. The reason you went to Iraq was not to take out a little festering Hitler. If that were true, you would have taken out Pakistan, Burma, Zimbabwe, North Korea, and countless others. Like most Americans, you've clearly bought the lie about taking out Saddam. The (brutal) truth is that Iraq was more stable under Saddam than now, that's why the US supported him for so long. For the record, my country was made great by "illegals". So was yours.
