  • I thought Christian America kinda sheepishly slipped out of the room with all the arrests, insider trading, blowing up the country Jesus was raised in, lots and lots and lots of flaming gay sex... LOL - I mean Lots and lots and holy crap the gay sex you gay bashers have! haha - That's adorable. "This is a free christian nation!" Sure, it means the exact opposite but Jesus and God and some other stuff we get public admiration for saying! Hahaha

  • Sorry.. Pat Robertson's face bothers me a great deal. LOL

  • Love this video...

  • Beautiful

  • faith by definition is to believe without evidence

but when there is evidence out there and you dont seek it out oe even worse choose not to learn it

    then faith becomes ignorance

  • Awesome reading! Great dinner entertainment! Wow if these comment don't validate the point I don't know what will. Again, awesome! And I agree with the one comment, he is cute! lol

  • Read a book ...the internet while useful wont save you.( to much crap to sift through

  • @schaelakhan Sure, like "Hitler's Pope" for example. Not replying directly to me means that I won't know that you responded, but you already knew that, didn't you? You're a moral coward.

  • @rationalsalvation see comment

  • @schaelakhan hitler was an atheist, He was a puppet who learned how to pull his own strings.if power currupts hitler felt comfortable enough to break the ties of what ever bound him.Alot of people were influenced by neitzshe.Over the years I've gone through great pains to find the truth.know my sources are from that era all the way to today, and I don't have a political agenda, the truth is free or should be.evilmen exist and they will use what ever means to attain control

  • @schaelakhan Yes, we know this is the catholic line, "Hitler was an atheist PRETENDING to be a catholic". "Anders Breivik wasn't really a Christian" "The kkk are just USING Christianity." You're full of shit. Hitler was a product and proud member of the Catholic church, and the church supported in him in his attempt to eradicate Jews, homosexuals and communists. Or is it a coincidence that this "atheist" just happened to also hate those particular groups?

  • @rationalsalvation In 1933, Martin Niemoller a pastor of a large Berlin church, sent hitler an appeal to stop his anti-semitic, and anti-christian government policies.Hitler responded by having members of that church arrested, imprisoned, and executed.he had millions of christian Poles,Ukranians, and Belorussians murdered.Other victims were the physical and mental disabled.Political and catholic dissidents were all victims. While you swim in shit, the truth gives me relief.

  • @schaelakhan And how does this make Hitler an atheist? My grandfather was a catholic, and he was in the RAF fighting the Nazis too. It doesn't change the fact that antisemitism was was preached from the pulpit until vatican 2. I invite anyone reading this comment to trawl the internet for anything substantial that proves Hitler was an atheist.

  • Hitler was an atheist, his personal hero was neitzsche.he patterned his, thinking after neitzsches quotes. He was a puppet who learned how to pull his own strings

  • @schaelakhan Sending a video, watch.

  • @rationalsalvation 1.Hitler, Adolf. Mein Kampf. Translated by Ralph Mannheim. Boston: The Riverside Press, 1943.

This book, written by Adolf Hitler, is his personal philosophy about racial supremacy, the threat of blood poisoning, the conspiracy of the communists and Jews, I will use this source to convey the impact Nietzsche had on Hitler and his beliefs.

2.Nietzsche, Friedrich. The Genealogy of Morals. Edited by Paul Negri. New York, Dover Publications, Inc., 2003; 1887.

  • @schaelakhan dude hitler was a catholic...... he also said "god" sent him to eradicate the world of the jews..... he also to his brainwashed minions that they were gods chosen race...... the bible condones all his actions though.... THANK GOD IM AN ATHEIST

  • @UndercityTV hitler was a politician who felt religion was a sickness. To gain support from a traditional christian society he lied, and no the bible has nothing to do with his actions.hitler was a minion

  • Now that is the most interesting facts to ponder.Pope Pius theXI was against anti semitism but before he was to issue a papal bull making such acts a grave sin he died.some say he was murdered and quickly replaced by Pius the XII who was influenced by Sj ledochowski, aka the black pope.Ledochowski believed in racial purity. he was of polish decent. which is interesting because many polish citizens were killed in the labor camps.

  • @schaelakhan Pope Pius Xi was opposed to the Nazis, "Mit Brennender Sorge". I'm not disputing that, but it doesn't change the fact that the Catholic church was preaching anti semitism until 1964. The huge change in attitude is precisely what "Vatican 2" was.

  • @rationalsalvation The conspiracy to kill the pope because he did not support nazism is mind boggling.ledochowski had hidden agendas.some believe he had influence over joe stalin as well.maybe even reversing his support from hitler to stalin to keep his power when the USSR started to win, which made him a target for assasination by the nazis.hitler and stalin are quoted for disavowing their faith, but ultimately created a culture of fear beyond whatever faith they are purported to have had.

  • @schaelakhan I don't care if someone plotted to kill the pope or NOT! Hitler was raised in the catholic tradition (which is where he got his beliefs about the Jews), he NEVER repudiated his faith in Jesus Christ, the so-called Table Talk has been met with scepticism by most noted historians, the Nazi army was made up of Catholics and Protestants. To say Hitler was an atheist is a desperate attempt by the religious to save face. Also, Stalin trained to become a priest.

  • hitler was an atheist, In public he professed a faith that in private he despised.13th December, 1941, midnight:

Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery,When all is said,we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease...adolf hitler

  • @schaelakhan ALL HE IS SAYING THERE IS THAT CHRISTIANITY MAKES A MOCKERY OF GOD. THAT IS NOT THE SAME AS SAYING THERE IS NO GOD. He professed multiple times in Mein Kampf to be doing god's work in killing the jews.

  • @Cathal002 mein kampf is a lie to begin with. hitler did not beleive in God.he was a secular leader who knew enough about faith to use against believers...hitlers, belief system was based on "The weak and ill constituted shall perish: first principle of our philanthropy.,...nietzsche.hitler was an athiest bent on forcing his world view on the world. Its amazing that even now people want to beleive mein kampf, such influence..maybe thats why its illegal in Germany.

  • @schaelakhan Oh, that is such crap, take a closer look at history and Adolf Hitler in general. What you're talking about sounds like a post holocaust panic and flux of propaganda. The Catholic church was preaching anti-semitism for centuries before Hitler came along. Hitler had atheists and communists slaughtered en masse.

  • @rationalsalvation To say "sounds like", means you never really knew about hitler to begin with.Thats not rational or critical thinking that is "blind faith", is that not ignorant.Never attack the facts.Yes, German christians supported hitler, they lived in fear. he had thousands of Catholic preist and nuns killed some were jewish born. The total number of christian murdered may well be above a million.hitler killed anyone he considered unworthy or a threat.

  • @schaelakhan You're claiming that the vatican and the entire country of Germany were so scared of one pissed off Austrian CATHOLIC that they committed mass murder when he told them to? The arse fell out from the bottom of your logic. The Catholic church preached hatred for Jews and homosexuals above all, Jews and homosexuals also just happened to be on top of Hitler's hit list. Is that a coincidence?

  • @rationalsalvation...you asked for evidence and you got it. Yet you reject the facts...your belief is like sand, it slips through your fingers. Mein kampf was a lie written to comfort his followers.19th October, 1941, night: The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity....adolf hitler

  • Hitlers personnal secretary Martin Borman spilled the beans hitler was a politician who used his knowledge of christianity to gain support of the German people. Saddam hussein as well. Stalin was not christian he may have studied but he turn against religion. Atheists don't burn books ok then from the evidence Atheist burn people instead. Darwins wife was christian she never turned followed his belief

  • @schaelakhan 1) What evidence do you have that atheists burn people? That's rich! 2) Hitler was raised Catholic, he never renounced his faith. FACT. Eventually he did start believing in more Pagan beliefs, but the Catholic church stayed right by his side to the very end. I suggest you read the first two chapters of Mein Kampf where Hitler claims that his fight against the Jews was in the name of Jesus.

  • @rationalsalvation The claim is sometimes made, that Hitler was a Roman Catholic until the day he died,TRUTHHitlerREJECTEDchristianity.Hitler's Secret Conversations1941-1944 published by Farrar,Straus & Young, contains proof of Hitler's real views.October,1941, midday:Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature.Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure...adolf hitler.hitler burned people.

  • @schaelakhan Hitler was a Christian, he believed in the divinity of Jesus Christ and never renounced Christianity. Even if he spoke critically of organized religion, he was no atheist, his belief Nordic mythology makes that clear. The Roman Catholic church signed a concordat with Hitler, an agreement to dissolve any Catholic political parties which might oppose him in exchange for the Catholic monopoly over education in Germany. Hitler attended church every Sunday.

  • 1:43 Daniel Dennett's Breaking the Spell.

  • That pat guy in the opening, is a mean and aweful person.even if he s

  • I like how he says tht these ppl say that "its gods will for me to kill and ruin these people" its not meant to be pro-religious. Its meant to show the abuse of "rightous judgement" onto innocent people.

  • Anti-Christian song from a man who names his album 'As above, so below" a Satanic notion. Obvious, his intentions are quite clear.

  • @AbstractVibes If he doesn't believe in god, he doesn't believe in satan as well. Your argument is invalid.

  • @UnderScore02 You're kidding, right? The man named his album based on a Satanic theory. Whether or not he believes, he’s still doing Satan’s bidding.

  • @AbstractVibes have you ever seen a demon idoit

  • @keithdwill90 At least spell your insult correctly...

  • @AbstractVibes next time I'll remember!

  • @AbstractVibes he explained the album name when he was interviewed on bet. it comes from having his heart and mind in tune, as above, so below. it has nothing to do with satan.

  • @thaterp Bro, I think we need to trust AbstractVibes' knowledge on what constitutes "Satan's Bidding". I mean, this guy seems to be an expert on the topic.

  • @thaterp Don’t always accept things at face value, brother. The concept isn't an original one. Surely, Anthony David knows the origin and the true meaning of this theory.

  • Wiccan here. This is why I'm against organized religion--it's all too easy for someone in a position of power to claim to speak for the gods, and to claim that the gods want the people to harm others.

  • Hatians were pure African until the french raped & had sex with the women & vise-versa

  • Religion is a trick!

If you fight facts with religion it would destroy it

  • INTELLECT!!, GOD IS SCARY!

  • Damn.....he's cute!

  • Atheism FTW!!!!!!!

  • Communist from Marx to Lenin to Stalin and even Trotsky advocated the abandonment of religion. E.f shumacher said that when visited the soviet union that all churches on his map were made into museums. Sweden has a slightly higher rate of suicide than the U.S., the U.S has over 300 million people. You seen naive or uniformed.

  • @schaelakhan Whereas a Pope has been photographed shaking Hitler's hand. The Christian crusades, 9/11, 7/7, Christian Dark Ages, Libya-Israel conflict, hundreds upon hundreds of bombing in the middle East, the Spanish Inquisition, the Troubles in Northern Ireland to name a few of the lovely offerings of religion. How much blood was shed in the name of religion? An inconceivable amount more than has been shed in the name of Communism, that's for sure. Religion = war.

  • @Cathal002 .Men, rather evil men like Hitler, Stalin, Mao ze dong, Kim Il sung, Lenin, Ho chi min, etc.Where not religous, maybe they thought of themselves as devine. They did not need God to kill Millions of people. The dark ages were not the Christian Dark ages, in fact alot of culture, literature, academia was saved by educated christian monks.Blame people for the evil you see, evil things done by evil people, some of which believe in God and some who only believe in themselves

  • @schaelakhan I think you'll find it's the religious who burn books, Darwin was burned and banned by Catholics and Protestants, Spinoza's writings were destroyed by the synagogues in Amsterdam, Hitler burned Holy Books (except the bible), and the most recent example was that idiot Pastor who burned the Qu'ran after giving it a mock trial. Atheists don't burn books, we read them. Hitler was a Catholic, Stalin studied to become a priest, Kim Il Sung and Ho Chi Min were the Jesus for their people.

  • @rationalsalvation ok lets not lie to make a point. Hitler was a liar and if you believe he was catholic then read this"Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery. When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease"

  • @rationalsalvation half truth full lie

  • @schaelakhan What is?

  • man=war...hitler may have been catholic at one time but he turned against his faith.hitler is quoted as saying"Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery. When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease.

  • Hell doesn't need anyone wake up or believe in its existence. Religion is not the problem people are. The beginning of 20th century was a new age which technology was to bring peace and freedom..... It was the bloodiest century ever. Communism was made to get rid of the idea of god. How much blood was shed in its name.

  • @schaelakhan its extremely naive to say that the objective of communism was to remove the idea of god. communism was a political ideology intended to change the way society harnesses resources...by your argument it failed because of people not because of its denial of god.. since we are throwing around examples some of the world most educated intellectuals are atheists and majority atheist countries like Sweden have some of the highest levels of prosperity in the world.

  • @priyochatterjee1 sweden, even while having a higher suicide (15 vs 11 per 100,000 people) still has a greater life expectancy than the US (80.9 vs 78.3)

  • If you think this song is about how Good God can be or think this is a Christian gospel song, you are either a very a bad person or an idiot

  • @WurlWideHustla

    your kidding me rite?

Your absolute certainty is rather disrespectful if you ask me.

Then at the end you went on to say "you will feel it" FEEL WHAT? and how do you know?

  • @Michaelnelson8630 You will feel it means, when you're dealing with the spiritual world, something will manifest in the physical world. how do u think things like voodoo/black magic/white magic/divination/channeling, etc. works? they work through spiritual entities. Google it, ask someone about it. So with that said, spirits can be evil or good. But how can being absolutely certain about somethn be disrespectful? Im also absolutely certain im gettn paid Friday so I guess thats disrespectful 2?

  • @WurlWideHustla dude those things are superstitions and they don't work... there is no scientific evidence for them... there is nothing called the spiritual world.

  • @priyochatterjee1 Ok well go play with some real voodoo...& see what happens lol...and youre exactly right its beyond science so how could "science" prove it? Supernatural means (above) natural. There are many things that happen supernaturally that "scientists" can and do not prove. The evidence is out there, its up to you to do the research for yourself. Im surely not here to prove or disprove anything, that is up to the individual.

  • Ok this guy's a good artist. He doesn't believe in God. Ok I got that. But to bash God & say so many disrespectful things towards an entity that may or may not exist in your personal eyes is just ignorant (misinformed, look it up) & out right disrespectful to those of us who may just be browsing, studying music, or just happen to stumble upon this particular song. If you are an atheist that is ok, but you will have a higher power to answer to like it or not, dont disrespect God. U will feel it.

  • @WurlWideHustla

Are you serious? Are you saying that an atheist should not express their views musically, just in case it happens to offend the sensibilities of a person who stumbles upon the song?

So I'm free to reason that you also support the reciprocal view, in that a Christian should not express their views musically either, in case an atheist happens upon it?

  • @funkyzx where in my statement did I say an atheist should not express their views musically? Sure he can express himself. And where did I say it offended me? Why should I be offended if a person doesn't believe in God when we all have free will? All I said is that he shouldn't disrespect an entity that he feels does or doesn't exist, meaning, the spiritual world is higher than us & its nothing to be toyed with, be it evil or good. That's all I'm saying.

  • @WurlWideHustla freewill!.. damn. they got yo ass

  • Comment removed

  • @keithdwill90 so you mean to tell me you don't have free will? lol, seems like "they" have you if you think otherwise. free will means free to believe, free to not believe. that all. free will is something as simple as going to walmart or target. driving or flying. being proactive or reactive. the list goes on & on... I'd hope you exercise your free will daily, unless you're incarcerated or in a vegetative state. Same difference when it comes to spiritual beliefs.

  • @WurlWideHustla blasphemy is a victimless crime

  • @WurlWideHustla His beliefs are as valid as yours and he has every right to express them, just as everyone else does. And in matter of fact, his beliefs dont hurt anyone in the process. Misinformed people are usually religious people actually, if u stumble upon this song then: 1) skip it, 2) you are doing religion wrong cause sadly, the artist aint lieing. And as a matter of fact, if THATS God, has any1 ever wondered if you would truly want to praise him rather than be afraid of him?

  • @WurlWideHustla if thats true, than worshiping god in front of atheists is irrespectfull too. Also, there is nothing suggestin that there is a god. only MEN have said so. jesus, mohammet, whatever, they were all just men, and thinking ''perhaps they were really messiah'' is like saying perhaps santa claus exists.

  • @xxxtangerinexxx ok well if it works for others don't hate. just do you. if you feel that Jesus is just a man you have a right to, nobody's going to die just because you think the way you do.

  • Man, I wish he had been more explicit in his atheism here. If someone misses the first two verses about the imaginary friend, there's a chance they'll completely misunderstand the song.

  • @Calliope222 I've noticed that a lot as well, but it doesn't really make any sense if people are watching the video. I mean, every image is one displaying religious extremism or violence; how do people ever arrive at the conclusion that this is a pro-religion song?

  • @Calliope222 I think the imagery throughout the vid is clear enough about it.

  • i belive in God and His message is very clear

  • @terrapinkk Which God would that be?

  • That guy at the start is a disgusting, pathetic scumbag!

  • I love the message of this song.

  • Go chase after satan cause thats who all yall gone be bowing down to. Dont even know where as above so below come from. look at the dog on baphemot or whatever you call it

  • @tlrflyguy860

atheists don't believe in satan either....

  • @tlrflyguy860 satan doesn't exist, you ignorant and sheltered fool

  • Love this:) new favorite song xD

  • Okay, let me get this straight. Some ignorant people use God as an excuse to do whatever they want so that makes all christians that way? Bullshit. Just because some people do that, it doesn't reflect on an entire religion. It makes me sick when I see people who do that. I'm not a hardcore "You have to believe in what I believe or you're going to burn in Hell" Christian, because technically, NO ONE knows what happens after you die, only the dead. But you don't have to crush others beliefs :/

  • @tem1013 The problem lies not with fundamentalist Christians but rather the fundamentals of Christianity.

  • @tem1013 how can you you crush someones beliefs without using any force or aggression?.... after all its your belief..... all that is being done is you are being presented a statement which contradicts certain viewpoints of your belief system...... obviously you are not compelled to listen to this and no one is ordering you to accept this or suffer the consequences.. its not like were saying "believe us or you will burn in hell"

  • @priyochatterjee1 the problem is most people are waking up to the fact that the threat of a made up hell is false.. can't wait to see their oppresion end

  • @keithdwill90 Guess you must of died and come back. Tell us, what did you see?

  • @priyochatterjee1 This late but I probably should have clarified. I'm not talking about the song, I kind of like the song. I'm talking about the people commenting on it. I'm not one of those people who search up videos just to complain about it. I meant how could people talk about how Christians shove their beliefs down everyone's' throats but then say God is ABSOLUTELY not real, end of argument.

  • @priyochatterjee1 Thats what I mean about crushing peoples beliefs. I wouldn't tell an atheist they would go to hell for not believing in God, so I would hope that an atheiest wouldn't call me stupid for believing.

  • @tem1013 why shouldn't opinions be shard? debate doesn't cause opinions to b shoved down peoples throats , if you dont like to discuss then please ignore. no one is gonna kill you if you do. if you think its not stupid to believe in Christ then there isn't really anything anyone can do about it.

  • @priyochatterjee1 But isn't atheism based on the belief that Christians shouldn't force their beliefs on people? I don't get upset about people sharing their opinions, but there is a fine line between sharing your beliefs and shoving it down someones throat. Sharing your beliefs would be saying "I don't believe in God" or "I do believe in God". But it becomes shoving it down someones throat when you say "God is not real, plain and simple".

  • @tem1013 atheism isn't based on any belief . its a logical stand that any RELIGION should prove its claims about god before saying it is true. obviously it isn't a preference like saying "i like the color yellow" .it is a logical stand and since logic is not subjective to the individual therefore the stand of atheists is either universally true or false. since we think it is universally true therefor our logic applies to everyone until disproven by the demonstration of god's existence.

  • @priyochatterjee1 If that's the case then why are most atheist arguments based on religion? Why can't you defend atheism without using religion? I'm not trying to insult atheism but how can you prove it by using religion in your argument? Almost every argument I hear against religion uses scriptures from the bible as an example.

  • @tem1013 if one were to live in a 100 % logical world then that's how atheists should have proceeded.. you present me you argument and i test it against the standards of scince and logic.. unfortunatwly th world isn't that black and white and th reason that most people follow religion isn't related to logic. som of th most common diversion tactics are "you cant prove me wrong until you've studied my religion"... cont

  • @tem1013 ... and "my religion provides a good moral framework" even though atheists could point out these fallacies and tell the arguer to first prove god... it merely skews the argument towards the theists by giving them the weapon to make more personal attacks against atheists like saying "religion is the only alternative and without it man will descend into despair and barbarism". therefore certain measures have to be taken to point out this emotional bias to the first time listners

  • im not a christain but how could you not like this song its about hope

  • 13 people dont have a life

  • This is the most important song of my life. It's how I've always felt, but I've never explored or processed how or why I came to this point of view, mostly because I too live in the South. My family feels sorry they won't see me in the "hereafter". In this time, however, I feel an imperative need to do so.

Also just saw my 1st atheist film - "The Ledge". I highly recommend it.

  • My new Favorite song? Ya, I think so.

  • We need a voice like Anthony David's out there..... I'm glad he's with us...... Humanism Rocks!!!

  • Welcome to the world without imaginary friends. Where each man is accountable for HIS OWN actions!

  • @studiousangel: i'm disappointed you said that. why don't you consider what you're saying about the reverse of your statement? because essentially what you said is all the music that is coming into the world about fornication (sex), drugs and murder glorify God and are successful because those artist believe in God. that is the most asinine thing i've ever heard. get a clue about God. Mr David is successful enough to keep releasing albums which those of us with sense and without judgment enjoy.

  • no wonder he flopped lol thats what happens when you dont believe in God LOL

  • @studiousangel So..are you saying Christians SHOULD murder, sell blood diamonds, and blame Haitians for their own bad luck???

  • @studiousangel actually, Mr Robertson EXACTLY blamed the Haitians. I do agree, though - he's a liar.

  • In the name of the one who made us all I will hide behind these walls from my enemy By the power bestowed from up above I will conquer you because it is my destiny

And with the righteous hand I will bring you to your knees I will strip you of your freedom without mercy And when the earth quakes and the blood runs in the sand There will be no final stand for the unworthy

  • Shake the hand my imaginary friend See the trouble he gets in Can’t he be trace back to me He can pretend at the slightest of his whim He has the power to suspend all rules of morality And when we gets angry he can make the lightning strike He can help me win the fight with his power Yes he speaks through me and it's always positive Cause I can just ask for forgiveness and it’s over

  • @FreckledBeauti

Islam is just as bad as christianity. Happy now?

  • Really great song and great way to make a point. I love this song and video. Thanks for speaking out.

  • At 2:19 jesus looks like he's about to give earth a good shagging in its arctic circle.

  • 11 people do what god said...

  • Anyone who does anything to show how ridiculous and dangerous belief in myth actually is should be applauded and supported. It is way past time for humanity to leave behind childish and magical views of the universe. We outgrew them a very long time ago.

  • I love it

  • I love the message, that God is powerful, but we act like we are Him, and we forget that His message is love, yet we saw God wants us to hate? No, thats not Right. Any one who believes in God, Jesus Or Allah needs to stop Signing thier Hate with God's love, Bcus He WON'T Sign it! Its people whot think A loving God can Hate his own creation that give those that Believe a bad name. Like this if you agree.

  • @Wolf116Christ That is not the message of the song. Too many Christians and people of faith are mistaking this for a Christian gospel song. The artist is Atheist so he's not going to be singing about a powerful God. How can he if he doesnt believe in God. I think that he's trying to call out religious people who do bad things and use God to cover their misdeeds. There are religious nuts in this world, but this song also has touches of athetism. This song could be atheist Gospel.

  • @krystal33ful I agree with you. Thats what I'm trying to say. That people use God as an excuse and its flat out wrong. and that those people aren't actual Christians. I know he's not singing about a "powerful God" I think the song is powerful. I guess I threw my views in when I didn't mean to. But either way Christain, Atheist or Other, this song is Amazing, and Full of TRUTH!!!

  • @Wolf116Christ i agree with you... i hope anthony is not atheist... that just made me sorrowful :((

  • @darknluv

Well the song certainly isn't praising religion, the description says "A satirical strike at religious zealots and extremists."

  • @darknluv sorry to give you the news, he is a atheist and secular humanist

  • @ajohnynune0123456789 oh... well ...he still makes good love songs. lol good music period. lol i can't live his life-

  • @Wolf116Christ lol. I mean, lol. You really don't understand what the song is about, do you? Really listen to the lyrics.

"He has the power to suspend our own morality"

"You can't put the blame on me, I'm just doing what God said"

"By the power bestowed from up above, I will conquer you, because it is my destiny"

"With the righteous hand, I will bring you to your knees, I will strip you of your freedom, without mercy."

  • " why indeed must "god" be a noun? Why not a verb... the most active and dynamic of all?

    Mary Daly (Theologian)

  • No worse sense of entitlement to do dumb shit then thinking it is God's will. It absolves the doer of any objective sense of right and wrong.

  • Without god life makes no sense. 'Unless you assume a God, the question of life's purpose is meaningless' Bertrand Russell, atheist

A lot of people who do wrong are doing bad because they are not following God. They use god to justify their misdeeds.

Although this video paints religion in a poor light Athetism/secular humanism is not the answer. We did not create ourselves so how can we know what our life's purpose is. The only way to find the purpose of life is through god

  • @krystal33ful Well said Krystal.

  • Religion isn't the only reason people behave badly, but it's the dumbest one.

  • listening to the story about gait and the french has me wondering something

when you are being overun by an enemy what do you do?

you make friends with the enemy of your enemy

if the whole heaven and hell story were true and these people made a deal with the devil

the christians drove them to it

  • Quality

  • fact of the matter for whatever reason people do some fucked up shit and use god as a reason to do so,

this is why we need to rid the world of all religion

let these fuckheads find another reason to spread their message of hate

  • Not sure what I'm hearing. Sounds like he is attacking those hollier than thou types that often use the bible to condemn and justify unholy acts and words. The video however looks as if he is against CHRISTIANITY. Either way he is walking a thin line. Remember " Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the un GODLY, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful" psalms 1:1

  • @dtriggs2 what you said is a bunch of jibberish i hate all religions, anyone who believes in an imaginary being will believe in anything

  • @coltsrule5150 You don't understand so you condemn what I am saying. I hope that you don't be consumed by your own hatred

  • The holy one that is the flying spaghetti monster always tells me to put ketchup on my fries and condoms on my willy. I always do what he says cos I love Him and he is real. Jehova is mean and nasty cos he doesn't like women and gays but FSM is sexy cos he is meatballs :)

  • in nowadays society God´s so called "words" are abused for money fame n selfishness. religion´s ONLY sense is control of mankind, nothing more, I LOVE THIS SONG !!!!!!!!!

  • A song that addresses an issue!?!!???? I am in SHOCK! Instead of seeing Lady Gaga spread her legs or hearing someone singing about tits, arse and shagging we have a song here that MEANS something! :)

  • Religion has just as much to blame for this video as his ignorance of what God really says. Instead of making too much of a big deal with the intent of the video, religious folk can just take a look in the mirror. Those who react in anger about this video/song should just slow down their vitriol and look at the religious idiots he show in the video. In many ways he is spitting out the poison that is being fed to many people as being what "God Said". Christians should also be more discerning.

  • @MrDjizzle1 He never made any claims about what God "really says". But I can tell you that I am appalled by what God allegedly says in the bible, so go ahead, give me an education.

  • God thinks - Voltaire
