bowing without the saddle

I've taught my horse to bow with this method. Now how do I do it without the ropes?

The first time I tried this method on my green broke 2 year old QH, he bowed within 10 seconds of picking his foot up, literally!! Thanks for the video!! I've tried all different methods and they all failed, however this method worked GREAT. Thanks for the video!!

At first I read "bowling" not bowing... whoopsie! This inspired me, my Racking Horse seems to think she's just a 'pasture ornament' but now we have a new trick to learn, thanks!
