I guess i'm just more a fan of trad jazz than free jazz. To me, it sounds like a trio of talented musicians.... warming up... to 3 entirely different tunes. I'm not knocking it... but this just isn't the same as say Frank & the Mothers, or Capt. Beefheart..... heck, even Tom Waits. Some people can't stand them, but I like 'em. To each his (or her) own.
