Red rat snakes can have an attitude. I found a big red rat snake in the roadway behind the campground--one of the biggest I have ever seen. I coaxed him off the road, but he was mean.
This guy was pretty crazy at first- he was spinning like a helicopter for a second before we got the camera in position! He calmed down pretty well though, apart from biting the camera

Very cool video and all. They are not poisonous but a bite can cause infections and needs to be cleaned ASAP.
