  • Now I miss my AW11 :'( !!!! The sound of THE 4AGE gives me goosebumps! Please God, let me have another 4AGE project, AMEN!

  • I need you to be my video man!

  • @ErnieT327, thanks for the kind words ;)

  • Man that car looks and sounds great, I just got the head back for my S4 Super seven and hope to have some video up after the 29th aug Track day at Manfield NZ, Will be Rallying , Circuit Racing and Gravel sprinting the MX5 in Aug too and will see what I can do about getting better video without the top of the windscreen in the way. Happy playtime Marshall

  • how many hp have u gane on that one?

  • @1985wojtek, It makes 145HP at the treads.

  • Looks like alot of hard work put down on the dyno! Can only get better from where you have it now. Good luck !

  • Nicely done, theamount of whp shows that its properly setup. Original toyota ECU of a 20V isn't as good as the 16v ECU.

To be honest. I would be dying to see how that setup would preform with some nice high lift cams with a little more duration. That should really spice up the engine without making it more peaky then it is from facatory.

  • @0Robokill0, Thanks, we actually tuned the Motec that was in the car already. We've got a spare motor for the customer, so I expect sometime in the future we'll be building a motor with lightweight forged pistons, cams, etc, etc...

  • Beautiful car and wonderful work. Well dome car. Look and sound pretty good.

    Congrats.

  • I like Super Seven, Caterham, pure driving. But till now i just see from outside :-(

  • @bennyr81, When you drive one, I think you'll find they are as good as appear :) A real drivers car. Just equipped with the essentials, and not much else... which means at 550kg it's a beast on the road and track... I'm editing some track highlights from this car at the moment...

  • I know 20V engines are pretty basic and all but i love them for their light weight and toughness. I give mine hell every day and still get between 8 and 9 L/100km in traffic with an aftermarket ecu

  • great job with the video so far. Now quickly what are you running in the exhaust in terms of resonators and mufflers?

  • THAT IS A BAD ASS CAR I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND IT IS BUT ITS BAD ASS LOOKS LIKE ITS ALL CARBON FIBER VERY NICE 10/10

  • sorry bro just got my net back lol...crazy video mate...thumbs up

  • nice, i ran a 16v in my ke70 for a while, great motor.

We built a 7 replica with an sr20det black top, its a bit on the much side but its still smooth enough to get into it on the tight stuff.

check my vids if you wanna see my 4age in action.

  • Very nice video! +1

  • thanks for the page !!! nice vid bro, keep up the good work !!!

  • nicely done video, can you increase the engine sound both Intake and Exaust ,It might kick it up a notch

  • Nice editing job, one tip for you. get a Print screen image of the final result and use that after showing the dyno screen running. That would give the viewer a better look at the results.

My hats off to you mate, without question this clip is the best dyno youtube clip I've ever seen and I've seen heaps + and made even more.

I'll have to drop by and see your editing in action.

    Top work.

  • beautiful video set up great dyno and car

  • not bad~

  • My Birkin is putting 4AGE 16V engine of formula Toyota.

    and outputs 177 horsepower.

  • @kleenexw, Nice one. A worked 4AGE 16v can easily rival a 4AGE 20v!

  • First your intro must be 10 seconds (dont worry, sometimes I made intros of 30 seconds, lol) Second. 720p,nice. 3 nice sound. Third. You dound an awesome car to show us.Last. I dont like ur end. But I LIKE this video

  • @Gavenatore, thanks for your honest comments ;) I agree the intro is tipping into the self indulgent side of time. Ditto with you on the end too, it's a little abrupt and the soundtrack doesn't end right I think... Although I wasn't happy with some parts, the sum of all parts seems to work better than your average youtube vid. I've accumulating quite a bit of footage from all sorts of our customers cars, dyno, circuit and rally... so look out for gradual improvements in upcoming vids. Jeremy

  • Let me ask you something? Have you got playstation 3 or xbox 360. If yes I want to ask you something

  • Awesome setup, professionally presented, nothing like the roar of a clean set of quads

  • nice editing, great car, now hit the track...

  • Did i see it right 145hp.Car sounds great.

  • nice :)

  • Love that induction sound!

When do we get to see track footage??

  • @xtroy80x, I'll have to take some at some stage ;)

  • Great, get excited.

  • I like this car because the engine room is clear and simple.the exhaust is quite big for caterham.Hmmm...I think this car is slow because its weight. So I can see clearly for some Carbon fiber on the body. Can you tell me the weight of this car,thx a lot and thx for upload.

Sorry fir my god sake english!

  • @racingrally, Yes, there is plenty of Carbon Fibre on this one ;) The nose cone, cycle guards, dash panel, and the air scoop are the main items. It has a wet weight (with fuel, fluids, no driver) of 550kg.

  • Nice video mate. It certainly jazz's up what would normally be "just another dyno run clip". Looking forward to seeing more of your cars and also seeing what you produce with AE, its am awesome program.

  • Very nice!

  • Sick car man!!!!! I want one!!!!

  • Klasse Video vorallem der Cat top *****

    Gruss aus Germany

    Well done :-)

  • very very amazing 5 stars !! by the way is this i a tv show ???

  • @rx8productionz, It's not actually a TV Show, but time permitting I plan to keep the videos flowing... Thanks for the kind words (everyone who's commenting), I really appreciate the encouragement!!

    ciao,

    J

  • nice car...and sounds good......gr8 camera and well produced 5*

  • Toyota engineering FTW! I bet that car is beast with that engine in it, especially since its so light.

  • Awesome job guys :)

    keep it up ^^

  • Wow, great :)

  • looks awsome!

  • i really like the video very entertaining

  • awesome man

  • @TweakitPerformance yeah i use Sony Vegas and have seen some really cool stuff with After Effects however sometimes less is more when it comes to videos, its just about finding that right ballance.

  • @css172 Yeah, I agree... I see a lot of wild effects that can be done in after effects, but integrating them in this type of video may come off too cheesy.... thanks again, J

  • nice engine, looks like a big, fun gokart lol, great job!

    keep it up!

  • nicely produced video.

  • @css172 Thanks, I really enjoyed trying out new techniques... actually it's only my second video edited... so I hoping to continue to improve and keep up with the quality... I'm using Sony Vegas Pro, which has a lot of amazing third party add-ons available... Although I see a lot of things that people are doing with Adobe After Effects which takes it to another level... so much to try ;)

    - Jeremy

  • Cool video )

  • That is insane!!!

  • Yeah, good vid, just needs a turbo now ;-)

  • Very nice Jeremy, well done :)

  • @JaysNW Thanks, appreciated!

  • can you list the engine mods?

  • @JC807 no worries, just posted them up in the description... let me know if you've got any questions...

  • Thats a really good looking Locost! I'll have mine finnished eventually. Thanks for the invite!
