That's pretty cool. How did you pull off that horizontal blackout effect?
Kinda feels strange seeing Mario disappear for several seconds during the graphic decompression... maybe a large smoke cloud covering where he should be would help? I see a small cloud, but it vanishes long before Mario reappears.

Maybe make it you kill 5 enemies with that you get 1-up. Because how it is now you can easily get 4-up per suit. Either that or make it VERY rare.
