  • have you ever been to canada ?

waste of my time go to hell

  • Obama, The Great LIAR!

GET OUT AND VOTE WITH A VENGEANCE ON NOVEMBER 2ND!!!

  • "By the end of my FIRST TERM as president".

Pure propaganda..............., speaks to the assumptive. No other or previous LEGITIMATE candidate (Article I, Section II) ever made such a presumptive remark.

This lying Marxist, racist, hate-filled/anti-American megalomaniac Totalitarian fraud's entire gameplane was/is to destroy the USA, period. To destroy the economy, liberty, freedom, rightful autonomy.

    Live free or die.

  • Canadian health care is functioning very well. 86% of Canadians are very pleased with our health care system. if my mother. or my sister become ill. they will be and do get taken care of. regardless of their income. Americans use our Canadian health care system as a whipping post to boost poll ratings. when really it's all speculative and un true. its lobbiest propaganda. The Canadian Health Care system is a wonderful system.

    do your research peoples.

  • @shannonlyon too bad tehy wait an average of 24 hours in the waiting room and have to draw lots to get a doctor lol

  • obama needs to go to sleep forever

  • i agree

  • I'd never rely on just one journalist source. John Stossel is a conservative Corporate Pawn. As are many liberal journalist.

  • I love how everyone thinks they only country that people come to for healthcare is the U.S.

Canada is only one example of universal healthcare. When I lived in Newfoundland (one of if not the poorest province in Canada) almost every person I talked to about the issue would never trade their healthcare for ours.

  • This is true. My friends in Liverpool and Scotland love their Single Payer Health Programs. As does my brother living in France.

  • wow. i have to see this for my self. remind me my art work i did in school here someone have there foot in there mouth :)) lol

  • how are the people who don't have jobs gonna pay for thier healthcare policies once it becomes mandatory to buy it ? we need details as to how much it's gonna cost each person per month to cover themselves ? .

  • i'm sorry but you are wrong. In the US, you have to wait exessive hours for a doctor to treat you. My daughter was forgotten about 3 times when she was having a severe asthma attack. We went in at 5 p.m. and got out at 7:30 a.m. I have friends in canada and they wouldn't trade with you to have your healthcare plan here in the US. They don't wait in long lines.

  • This type of ''animal'' pesses me off completly for it is this type of human behavour that is responsible for all the shit that is curently happening everywere...

it is the cind that can't see beyond themselfs in this case beyond the depth of their wallets...

it is the cind that would rather put hes dog or a cat on a bypass surgery that costs thousands to save the life but they wouldn't feed or cure an imigrant or even hes neighbour fot that matter... YOU PEOPLE ARE OBSTRUSTING PROGRESS ffs

  • Bring on Universal Health Care! Enough already - people are DYING because they can't AFFORD to live! Bring on the new system, we cannot afford to ignore this major problem anymore. Enough of this RIGHT-WING PROPOGANDA! Universal Health Care covers EVERYBODY (you idiot), that's why it's called Universal Health Care. Dumb Ass!

  • Yeah, smart - people are dying so the smart thing to do is to make more people die by rationing medicine.

Obama is promising lower costs - how do you think he's going to do that?

(Hint healthy people cost $0 - sick people cost money...hmn who's gonna get the shaft??)

You're finding out what liberals are all finding out - that the emotional arguments mommy and their girlfriends taught them are BS...and the US citizenry is sick of liberal lies like yours.

    P.S. You're sick.

  • people who are healthy get the shaft now that is why we pay so much for insurance we are not paying for ourselves we are paying for everyone else it would be less expensive to pay for universal health coverage by the way united states ranks only 36 in health care by the world health organization the highest ranks countries have universal coverage the health care industry is the people who ration by denying 30 percent of their claims. i ask you what good is the health insurance companies

  • @videomusicshowcase The US had always had heavily rationed health care. Rationing is what insurance company bureaucrats do when they deny 40% of all claims and when they cancel your policy when you get sick. The insurance company bureaucrat wedged between you and your physician is the only one doing any rationing, not government administred health care systems.

  • @videomusicshowcase

I also disagree with the current healthcare bill, but the way you convey yourself makes you sound like the stereotypical "paranoid" conservative.

To deny that we need reform, and to say that universal healthcare is a bad thing (which I am NOT accusing you of), would make whoever thought that a sick person. The "greatest country in the world" still doesn't have what Canada, Thailand, and Europe has had for decades. We need another plan, and we need to care for ALL our people.

  • that part is funny :))

  • DUDE!

    You're awesome!

I cannot believe the guy did not hang up on you. If it were me I would have hung up after three minutes and wandered out into a field and contemplated my life. But political bastards are immune from being human which is why they are doing what they are doing. You are an ultimate 'merican. I agree with you on the borders too. There is an element of common sense out there but, you are almost alone in articulating it. Keep up the good work.

    tik

  • Obama himself has stated he is for a single-payer system... Obviously the system needs to be over-hauled, however this is the exact opposite direction that we should take.

  • On the issue of Canada's waiting lines for treatment:

What exactly would cause a backup?

    1. Too many patients

    2. Not enough doctors

Would a hospital that has a throughput of 1000 patients a month under private health care decrease if the government paid the bill?

  • Haven't you idiots seen the that unless you are 4 TIMES less the poverty level you have to buy into the "Government System"? I would say no because you all are making some dumb comments.

If you are above the poverty level an individual would have to pay 5K a year for the gov option and 10k for a family. So there is where the money comes from, idiots!

  • How about siting a reference for your claims?

  • Haven't you idiots seen the that unless you are 4 TIMES less the poverty level you have to buy into the "Government System"? I would say no because you all are making some dumb fucking comments. If you are above the poverty level an individual would have to pay 5K a year for the gov option and 19k for a family. So there is where the money comes from, get your heads out of your asses and clean the shit out of your ears!

  • wow, just wow.

  • I want you debating with Obama on national tv --- it'd rack up the hightest ratings ever!! ---- you'd end up making Obama stutter profusely and cry!! THAT would be entertaining. Alas, it could never happen because Obama and the dems are too scared of any REAL debate - thus they have to call anyone with a differing opinion an 'organized mob' or 'astro turf'.

    So sad.

Thanks for the entertaining video of your phone convo - go into politics! This country needs you more than ever now.

  • THis is more dumb shit by a dumb ass. After listening to this,oh my gosh dude, your 90 year old grandfather...Im sure is not on Medicare already is he? Does he get denied anything now?

  • Impressive arguments...

My grandfather would be blind if not already dead if he had to rely on the kinds of plans that Congress is templating right now.

But I understand where you're coming from: it doesn't immediately effect you, or so you think, so why not rip off everybody else? That's the standard thing we expect from the human mind under default conditions.

Your message seems to imply that you're proud of your point of view. It's the same statist attitude as Hitler, another day.

  • So your grandfather (i assume retired) pays out of pocket for private health insurance with no assistance from the government?

  • I don't have health insurance (I'm in the US) but this is my choice. I don't see health insurance as a good investment. I prefer to pay for my healthcare as needed.

If Obamacare is forced upon me, I will no longer have this choice.

That said, the system does need repairing.

If we could simply get government out of the system, prices would eventually normalize.

Of course taking gov't out of "the system" means removing government from every aspect of our lives and our economy.

    Good luck with that!

  • I would love to see how you would pay for a $5000 visit to the emergency room for a kidney stone, something you cant predict or know you are going to have.

  • Is this a serious response?

    Is $5000.00 your life savings??

It sure as hell ain't mine. I'd simply pay for it.

  • I'm from England there is no problem with huge cues for dentistry.

  • I've been to England. I've seen the teeth. Enough said.

  • That's because the pressure for perfect teeth is a lot less than it is in America lol

  • The aide says we already pay for illegals, so what difference does it make? Yes, by federal law they have to be treated at the ER. However, it is very different for illegals to start showing up at the offices of specialist for extended care. The aide's argument is specious.

  • Does the aide know that the drugs that Americans are going to Canada to buy were made by American companies. If we have socialized health care, who will be making new drugs? Seems to me both Americans AND Canadians will be out of luck.

  • According to the aide, all people are covered and all prescription drugs are covered. Then how will the government reduce costs? Maybe the two posters could explain how costs will be lower when private insurance companies have lists of approved drugs.

  • My question is this: why is the aide arguing in favor of the health bill if he says:

    1. there is no bill

    2. the Congressman has not taken a stand

It's obvious that the Congressman will vote for the bill. So the aide is not interested in the constituent's position, he's more interested in arguing for the bill. Who works for whom?

  • The Congressman works for the special interests who wrote the bill... not the American People. There's a big con game going on here. The Federal Government is corrupt and rogue. Their last act is to loot the citizens on their way out as they institute a system of control to keep us in line. That's why they want to take over healthcare and institute carbon taxes. We are scum who should pay to breathe in their eyes. It's all about controlling every aspect of our lives.

  • I listened to the entirety of your conversation, and honestly I don't know the point you are trying to make? I am not trying to be disrespectful, but i don't think that arguing with an aid is a way to accomplish your objective. It simply wastes his time, and yours. Speaking personally, I can say that I feel health care should be reformed. I'm a young healthy adult, but just recently I've had problems with my eyes. When i went to get eye drops, a vial smaller than a Visine container cost me...
