i see the only sustainable solution to be desalination. if we keep building resorviours OK but that rain was intended to go to the aquifers or lakes so it's not that great. waste recycling is great but once we reach 100% recycling which is soon, we can't go any further. desalination. desalination is the only method that creates NEW water and so it must be done. side note: the video is so well made that i question it's authenticity.
First, I do NOT understand why his orchard HAD to be bulldozed. The trees could have been left to die a natural death. Did he sell the land?
Second, what is a realistic solution to this looming disaster? None was tendered in this short documentary appeal.
