  • Never heard of the motion JPEG. I wonder if my camcorder will do it. So many settings...

  • @WakeUpDummies

do a quick search on Wikipedia for more info. They are bigger files than avchd or avchd lite file. Depends on what your video editor will handle. Good luck!

    Thanks!

  • Good test, regrettably the music overpowered your commentary in the most crucial, for me, part of the test when you were filming from within the moving car. The canon footage looks washed out, the TS1 looks good. What was your overall conclusion on mjpeg v avchd on the TS1

  • ghough12,

It is actually avchd lite. slightly different from avchd but since Sony Vegas 9.0c handles it and it is half the file size of mjpeg I like it. The canon was not optimized for viivid colour and in my opinion is a better camera...BUT...the TS! is smaller, waterproof and more likely to be in your pocket. The best camera is always the one you will have with you. Tks for the comments. BdaSailor

  • @ghough12 appreciate your response, fantastic scenery to test in!
