  • @samysamy25 what the hell do u think this is a lab!? thank u but no

  • @samysamy25 btw this is about languages not dna

  • @MrSweetlife92

Moroccan accent is hard to understand for close minded people with prejudices ...

that's it, and by the way I don't understand lebanease accent ! neither iraqi one or kuweiti !

and the one here in star academy talked with a marrakech accent, you need more open ears to understand it :D morons !

  • @Arabsys being open or narrow minded has nothing to do with this, i think what ur looking for is LISTENING SO GOOD u can hear a pin drop in the US if ur in china. everyone use to come to our (Lebanon) uni's, and still do, so our literature is out to the whole region, so whilst other arab countries understand our dialect we find it hard to understand theirs slightly.

  • @MrSweetlife92

every single part of the arab world have it's own special culture, from town to town, city to city, even villages ... it's not a new fact

but people make more effort when it's about same country or neighbors dialects ;)

this is why I'am referring to the state of mind, closed or opened

  • @Arabsys ok then.

  • But I dont understand anything when I speak with Egyptians and Lebanese, their dialect is closest to Standard Arabic than Moroccan BUT they mispronounce a lot and they speak fast. Whenever I speak with an Egyptian or a Lebanese, I ask them to slow down and to articulate LOL. But Syrian or Jordanian is easier to get I think. And by the way that video is hilarious. But I think they all should speak fos7a with their accent. That would be a nice compromise.

  • I think it just depends whether you grow up in an Arab country or abroad. I was born and raised in France but both of my parents are Moroccan so I speak Moroccan Arabic fluently. I can speak Fos7a as well and it's very easy for me to communicate with Palestinians and some Saudi people from the South whose Arabic is very easy to understand (not to mention Algerians and Tunisians we speak the same). But my mum for instance can speak fluently Egyptian and Lebanese (because of movies and songs lol)

  • The Egyptian accent is the easiest to understand but they can't understand any other accent

  • @abedoaf nope we kinda undestand khaligyy and libanese but elmaghrib el3raby not that much

  • @LoLoOoOoOo90

Iam an Egyptian myself and i live in El-Khalij ya3ny Khaliji is difficult to understand but the Shamy accent is easy

  • rofl @ bashar 2:07 hes doing funny noises mocking the diffrante accents ..mocking the fact that there is no such a thing as arabs

  • Comment removed

  • bashar rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • loooooool

  • best accents are the khaliji, lebanese and tunesian.worst are jordanians (sounds like a dick shoved down their throats), sudanese and yemeni.

  • hahahahahaha...........................

  • عااااش بشااار قام يرطن لووول ..

  • Dear dianthusa.....

    Bullhit...!!!

all Arabs have the same accent in English...maybe a little bit different.

If English people can't understand Moroccan people if they speak english...

Than they can't also understand people from egypt...cause they speak also very fast......What ever ......I repeat I am from morocco and I study in English and everyone understands me very well..

    love from Holland

  • i'm from morocco and I speak very good English....

I live in the netherlands..and I want to live in an Arab country..Arabic is a beautiful language ...it is nice that each country has it's own accent I love all Arabs ...because if we don't love each other Who will....???

May God bring us closer together..

    AMIEN..!!!

    xXx love from Holland

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    GOSHHH

every time i see this video and i reach bashar's part i cant stop my self from laughing loooool cause its so true that maghrebans talk like that

  • No thats not true...Bullshitttttt..!!!

  • sorry but it is true =) i have many friend who are maghrebans

  • we talk like that you cant guys UNDRESTAND US COZ WE DONT SPEAK ARABIC IT IS TRUE THAT WE GOT ARABIC IN OUR DIALECT BUT ALSO AMAZIGH SPANISH FRENSH AND PORTUGEASE SO THATS WHY YOU CANT UNDRESTAND

  • yeah i know lol

i have nothing against it but its funny how he was imitating them...

  • Heyy i'm kuwaiti living in the states and this is soo the story of my life when ever i am speaking with arab friends ... extremely frustrating .... kuwaitis use non-tradional arabic letters such as g, ch ,and v(farsi letters) this is account of them being so close to Iran (farsi speaking nation)

and no my friend kuwaitis don't have down syndrome :)

  • When this video reached the minute 2:08 and after seeing the feedback of that kuwaiti man toward his moroccan brother..I did realize why saddam invade kuwait! the moroccan speaks 3 languages and you try to insult him this why! if we look deeply in your cultural background..We'll discover that your english sucks!!!!!!

  • you are right moroccan accent is very difficult becoz is a mixture with frensh also they speak soooooo fast it's like irish accent it's also difficult they speak english but a american or english cant understand very well for that reason the boy with green t shirt repeat the word...but not very loud like the girl with bleu t shirt do its just for laugh :D

  • you are right moroccan accent is very difficult becoz is a mixture with frensh also they speak soooooo fast it's like irish accent it's also difficult they speak english but a american or english cant understand very well for that reason the boy with green t shirt repeat the word...

  • the best accent in my opinion is the khaliji accent, on the other hand the worst are jordanian and palestinian accents cz they sound like some thing stuck in their throat.

  • really? the khaliji accent is the best? i'm both palestinian and jordanian and i lived in kuwait, emirates, saudi, and bahrain, Gulf countries has the worst arabic accents while they are talking it's just like they are fighting, our accent in jordan and palestine looks so soft in front of gulf accents

  • they didn't understand each other because they were a bunch of stupid empty head low life uneducated assholes

  • moroccan accent is a mix of the all arabic Accents + Frensh + Spanish... Languages

we have some words in commun with the lebanese language in exemple : hadak sheii ,hadiik lmarra ...

    there's many words in commun

just moroccan language is mixed and the pronounciation is fast but the words are the same in arabic .so moroccan language is an arabic language like the others .Just u must listen Well to words ;)

  • I have a hard time with Egyptian accent, to me it's fast forward sometimes, Morrocan, I think it's another language. Rest is ok.

  • hahahahahahahahahahaha

star academy..when arabs try to unite happens :)

  • Guess who has the smoothest accent in English? Moroccans hell ya cuz the rest of the arabs all sound like "reverrrrse ze carrrr and barrrk herrre, zo yoo want bitza orrr bebssi?"

  • Im Palestinian and i sometimes have trouble understanding Khaliji accents (because they sound like they have down syndrome..no offense) but i think Morrocan is a language all their own someone said it was something like Berber i call it Barabeer(Buggers...lol). If your gonna speak Arabic the best accents i think are the Levant ones (balad'at el sham) and egyptian. And window is Shebak fuck any other word for it!

  • wallah star academy 1 kan a7laaaaaaaaa wa7ad :'(

  • arabic language have a lot of accents different

sometime I cannot understand Algerian accent

and Moroccan accent .. also some of them cannot understand Saudi accents . I'm Saudi and I cannot understand some accents of south of Saudi Arabia and the bedouin accents .

  • LMAO,MUahahahhahhahahh½!XD

  • hehe very funny

  • hehe very funny

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

tHaT wAs So FuNNy xD xD LmAo

    ThNx

  • lol...that was fuuny.

  • why the moroccan ones can understand all the different arabic accents and the ppl from the other contrys can´t do it ?

i discovered this when i was with 2 morocans and some other guys from lebanon and egypt

sry for my engl am from ger XD

  • because Moroccan accent is mixed with other languages i can't remember what are they.. but i know "Barberic" is one of them.

  • its not "Barberic" ---its berber..geez!

  • loooooooool @ barberic....... hahahahahaha

  • hahaha that's nice isn't

  • well i'm moroccan and do understand all other arabic accents, i guess cause of medias, movies, songs and mostly cause all other accents are closer to Classical Arabic, while north african accents are more of a mix of arabic, berber, french and spanish.....and sometimes i swear i don't know where some words come from like : cherjem(window) lolllllllllll

  • Because Moroccan (Darija) is a mix of different languages (Tamazight (amazigh), Arabic, French, Spanish) so you can say that it's a "language". But in fact, the morrocan speak Darija in an Amazigh way meaning the Arabic sense of talking is lost. Thus, the Moroccan have a Amazigh mind.

Exemple: Bezzaf comes from berber word Abezzaf which means a lot. Charjem comes from berber.

Tomobile means car, tobis means bus.

So If I say: Mchi l'cuzina or jibli shlada (salad).

    Bedel rueda d'tomobil.

  • krach !!!! 9teltini bede7k, galeeh ruida !! lol

  • hahaha so funnyyy

  • This.. was so weird.

    But cute. :D

I'm Dutch & only speak english, french and dutch so I didnt understand anything..

even though I think I heard a little bit of french somewhere :O

  • Hahahaha...

    Dialects are problem...but it's cute ;D

  • CUTEEE! lol

  • its nice star academy, put the videois very low

  • Is that like the arabic version of Real World?

I don't know, I think Morrocan is comprehendable, interacting with Maghrib folks they speak it in understandable way not 'hadra' dariji local fast way of speaking. Ana Sudani, bafahm al accents al 3arabiya but when it comes to dialects, I do not understand a word.

  • i am sudanese too!

i understand loads of different arabic accent but algerian and morocan need all my attention to understand them

  • It's that we talk so fast, and we use very old Arabic words that are not used anymore but exist in Almunjid like "Wakha". I know a Sudanese girl working on a Radio station here who talks Moroccan arabic like if she is one!

  • Moroccan accent is the toughest to understand, but they can undesrtand every accent

  • Sometime they dont even speak a single arabic Word lolz

  • Really? this is a new information about my country LOL

  • @jz2727 WRONG. they only understand maghrebienne DIALECTS

  • im happy to live multicultural with different arabs so i can understand every single arab accent!!

anyway every arab can speak and understand egyptian

  • the problem is that people of middle east want moroccans to change their dialect for them and refuse to make an effort to understand it. we moroccans don't understand golf's dialects but we don't insult them or make fun of them they need to grow up it's not funny to mock other people's languages it's silly and irritating.

  • the sad part is...... I didn't understand anything in that clip........and I'm an arab!

  • do u speak Arabic?

  • I can speak arabic, but its not my first language, but... I can only understand people from palistine and jordan, most other dialects are a little harder to understand :)

  • why dont you speak french or english to each other?example an algerian and a tunisian can speak french to each other or an egyptian and a saudi can speak english to each other,,those gulf countries can speak arabic to each other,,the normal arabic standarised it,,it will not be that horrible and sound atrocious as in tis video,,this is just an example that i suggest,,i maybe wrong but we should try to reduce and miminise miscommunication,,else it will be VERY FRUSTRATING TO BOTH PARTIES

  • what a stupid suggest saudis and egyptian can understand each other very well (especiallyyoun generations) and i would never use english as media language when i speak to other Arab. iam saudi by the way

  • great video thanks for sharing

  • lost pple

  • stupdos arabic poeple

  • why do not they speak the classical Arabic language?

they absolutely ganna understand each other.

  • star academy season one is THE BEST EVER!!!!

  • i am not arab and i know how to speak by moroccoian languach and the arab people they cant speak by moroccoian thats sucks hahahah lllay n3al tabon mkom ya 3arab ya wlad l9hab an7wi likoum mkom

  • to rega1986 you really stuipd ..morricaan languague is way far of thereal arabic language cuz they effected with french and spanish so grow up and start using your brian even for once

  • Comment removed

  • hehe this is so funny oufff

  • c'mon guys, moroccan and north african accents r the hardest, cause of the influence of berber, french and spanish !! and it's really stupid to speak it like that it with other arabs, cause it just makes it hard for them to communicate with u!! i do speak moroccan with other arabs but try to simplify it as much as possible !!

  • والكلام المغربى مش مشكلة لكن المشكلة فى اللى يفهمة

    بجد كلام حلللللللللللللللللللللللللللللللللللللو

  • الكلام المغربى حلو جدا وبحاول افهمة.بجد حلو

  • It seems that this problem will fade away now that we have star academy maghreb...now everybody can understand everybody:) Peace!

  • oool

  • loooooooooool

  • morccon accent is easy its just that they spaek so fast,, thats all

  • LOOOOOL fuckinh hilrious ahahaha ye right i remember one time i was introduced to a morcoon gal DAAM!! i was like excuse me does anyone speak arabic here?

  • LOOOOOOOOOL

  • MDR!!

  • LMAO thats Hellarious

  • Can anyone tell me when is the birthday of Ahmed Sherif?

  • hey hey! hahaa everyone usually understands egyptians... but it really is sad that no one can understand the other lol... it would really unite us all if we all spoke one dialect!

  • c'est tres marron comme vid...mais pour repondre a ta suggestion, no we are too proud to change our dialect for the sake of a unity with middleasterns, but we still like them:) Not to mention that moroccan algerians, tunisians and lybians understand each other just fine;)

  • mohamad attiaaaaaaaa 7abib albiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • nonesense........I think you understand what u want to understand .........it's simple...... that's why all the [sheep] get it ..if u know what i mean

  • shut up all, this is soo gr8, let us hve somefun like ajaneb, damn. its gr8

  • This is so true! I sometimes have trouble understanding my fellow Arabic friends..especially the Egyptians!

  • we don't say "cultivated" in English! Stop thinking in French while writing it will help u greatly ^^ fine English though

  • all i understand is lebanese and a littleeee masri

  • tres bien dit

  • yeah moroccan is hard...they have a really nice accent, but its just really hard for me xD i know some moroccans that speak almost egyptian for me to understand...they're really good!!! haha! anyway this video was so funny!! i LOVE bashar!!!!

  • looooooool the end

    blei8a blei8a

and when the kuwaiti was like "sbeakar.. blaster... blastic" AHAHAHAH

  • watever stop making funn of u'r arabic language we guyz all speak arabic and that's it hmmm

  • ya the guy at the end is Kuwaiti..he's actually a good singer now..Bashar Al-Shati

  • whon wz that tosser at the end takin the mick out of some accent, he thinks hes all cool but hes a piece of shite

  • Why dont they talk Fus7a??? thats better for them all

  • Funny stuff, but this doesn't happen now in season 4..i wonder why is that?Moroccans spoke Egyptian and Lebanese right from the start, didn't take anytime to adapt or anythig

  • well i think any arab can understand egyptian or lebanese arabic, because of the media...

  • Yeah,I agree..but still, don't you think some Arabic dialects are just easier? In my opnion the Egyptian and Lebanese dialects are far more easier than the Moroccian

  • ia the guy at the end khaligi? that wasn't arabic towards the end, right? haha i hope not

  • haha g8 video.. thnx for posting it.. :D

  • lol that is so funny do u know that once shayme in star academy 3 said something to joseph and it ment something bad to people in the middle east and she didnt know it was a bad word it was so funny lol.

  • this is so funny:D

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah so funny

  • I disagree Trisinti! They shouldn't speak Darija! The audience is mainly Arabs from the middle east and they don't understand Moroccan! Tunisian is somewhat understandable! and The fact that the Moroccans can speak other accents is good! it means they're more flexible! if they speak only Moroccan it means they're limited, hard-headed & close minded! and pride has nothing to do with this! Just because she doesn't speak Moroccan with Arabs dont mean she's not proud of being Moroccan!...

  • is Darija an arabic dialect or not?! if yes why moroccan's have always to be those who adopt others dialects? why am i supposed to know khaliji, egyptian, syrian and lebanese?

if not, then it's OK. i mean if darija is a language (like maltese), not an arabic dialect, you don't expect frensh, german or spanish poeple to understand it.

but if we don't speak arabic

  • Darija is mixture of "Eaten" Arabic, Arabised(Berber, French, & Spanish)... For a middle eastern Arab, Moroccan Arab is kind of like Farsi. We have to adapt because we go to their place. It's in Lebanon where the competiton takes place! if it took place in Morocco than I am sure they're the ones who have to adapt & do the effort. & if you have noted the Moroccans who stayed long in there were the ones who adapted into middle-eastern accent.

  • unfortunately moroccans "adapt" here and there and every where. they don't "adapt" Darija, they just throw it in the nearest garbage and adopt lebanese, egyptian or whatever. a "white" darija (mixed with modern arabic) like the one used in tv is understandble by every one, but they don't use it, why?

  • Trissinti if they speak Darija in their they would not reach the popalirity they could reach! Talking darija in there is like going to a kid school and starting to talk about rocket science! its out of context! Arabs do NOT understand us! what is for an arab: Walou? Bezzaf? Za3ma? Hardra?...etc.. just look at the Mansheklouhsh part of the video! I think its good for us to grow and adapt! its in our benefit!

  • to be honest i consider myself Darija, my mothertong, as a different language, not an arab dialect, as i consider myself as a moroccan, not an arab. i learned arabic in school like french, english and spanish. i can perfectly speak egyptian, even a bit Sa3idi, but i wouldn't use it with an arab, i will use a simplified fus'ha or mixed with darija or swich to french or english. but never allow someone to make fun of my mothertong or make fool of myself

  • you know when Lebanese and Egyptians stars come to Morocco to Studio 2M or other music shows! they used a Moroccanised Egyptian or Lebanese or Fusha. It's a tactic to win audience! it has nothing to do with making fools of one another! and its true each of us is different from the rest! but in a group setting we need to build similarities rather than differences!

  • the Darija u hear on TV is the Moroccan Standard Arabic.

In morocco we have a triglossia i.e. we have 3 varaities

of one mother language Arabic which are: the Classical

form, the standard moroccan arabic and the dialectal form.

Moroccan arabic is a language itself and can stand out

to be one of the mother tongues of the country.

as a matter of fact, in morocco there are two mother toungues:

Amazirgh And Moroccan Arabic.Amazigh itself bares three varaities let alone Arabic lol

  • i agree with u im morocan and the first guy on the video did what h supposed to do...we morocans can understand all dialects just cus we make an effort...well no need to compromise then we all should speak fus7a, otherwise each one speaks his own dialect.

  • I think Moroccans speaking other accents is cute!! if they all speak Fusha is gonna become funny!!! and if the other arabs trying to speak Moroccan is even funnier! It's good the way it is!!! Cocktail lol

  • I disagree WonderXman. If Moroccans were to stick to their slang, then middle-easterners might make an effort to understand. I agree with trissinti, Moroccan is almost a language in itself. Trying to make Moroccan understanble is perfectly fine, but speaking middle-eastern is just lame.

  • on the other hand sofia ended speaking a milkshake of middle eastern dialects and i hate that. Moroccans need to be proud of their difference, cultur and heritage and to impose respect of darija like tunisians do.

  • at that time i saw live how bashar make fun of moroccan accent and i found that anything but funny. i thought it was insulting. the only thing i liked about Amin was that he spoke moroccan all the time, not that he was proud of darija or something, but he simply couldn't speak lebanese or egyptian.

  • lool .. yeah she was going on and on as if we all speak that way :P

  • WE all speak that way, and nobody speaks like a kuweiti. lol!

  • lol .. yeah i kinda got that when i saw the video

  • best part is the moroccan chick who speaks half french half arabic with the kuwaiti guy...PRICELESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • it's good actually she went for the one in Lebanon! We have a music show similar to Star Academy called Studio 2M!! usually the winners dont get as famous in Morocco as she got for being in the Lebanese show! I cant wait for the 4th one! I hope they picked good ones from Morocco lol! Egypte, KSA, Lebanon, now it must be our turn :-P or else...LOL
