dodge has the toughest engine, ford has the toughest body, and chev has the toughest tranny.

If i were to choose the best and then buy one tomorrow it would be a GMC Sierra HD.

An independent company needs to build a truck with the ford body and chassis, cummins engine, and Allison tranny. I'd buy that.

@EricTehRedneck You forgot about ergonomics. Ford has the best flow in their cabs. Chevy has the worst. That is a big deal to people that spend alot of time in the cab, more so than the average joe that can live with cup holders being just out of reach or heater knobs being out of the line of sight, things like that. Some people will get trucks purely based on driver comfort and not worry about the other things you mentioned becuase they all go forward and backwards. Comfort is huge.

@Towndrunk26er yeah that is definitely a good point! I'm not too sure how the new chevy's are but my 99 sierra has the best lumbar support that i've ever seen. flow definitely makes a difference

@schrankm no the trucks can haul 8 tons an F350 is a one ton so idk how a F450 can be 8 tons. all 3 major truck brands Have half tons which is usually the 1500 or F150 and then 3/4 ton which is 2500 or F250 and one tons are the 3500 or F350. BTW Cummins is the strongest diesel motor ever made hands down i mean shit it pulled down a house lol

@Helmers5 no he thinks the guys on the show said the truck weighs 8 tons when they actually clearly said 8,000 pounds. i don't know about cummins being the strongest diesel engine ever made, in fact, i doubt it. as for diesel engines in pickup trucks, it's the best, hands down.
