This style actually works with every hair length, although your ponytail might be longer, if you have longer hair than her :)

My hair does it's best to be difficult with me. It slips out easily and it's heavy. When I get to the final twist, it just falls :(

It's BSL. Well, maybe an in longer now. Theoretically this style would work on me, but that final twist gets me. I'm a hair stick noob.

Just do it in another way. Make a ponytail in about the middle of your head, then playce the hairstick on the left side with your right hand, with one end pointing down to the ground. Then turn this end, which is pointing to the ground 180 degrees counterclockwise around the ponytail and then stick it close to your scalp. (hope that was understandable, maybe I can find a youtube vid explaining this) That's maybe easier. ^^ Do you have the exact length of your hair? in cm?

My ends won't hold in a hairstick bun yet. The ends pop out in the sides. They won't tuck in at all :( I've always loved how the hairstyle look with hairsticks, but I guess I'll have to wait until I can braid them then make buns. I want to try the chinese double braid :D

So far I can crown braid and french braid and it looks decent. My crown braiding is still a bit messy, but I'm getting there.

u sure? thats the first time i heard anyone say that their hair was too LONG for it. MY hair is hella shorter than that so if i can do it im sure u can. Just keep trying ^_^

My hair is also very heavy... I may just have a different hair type than most. I also have trouble keeping some buns.

When I tried the 180 twist then the "knit" move, too tight would hurt, too loose would fall out. I'm just out of luck.
