@texecution Yes, this was written by the Turtle's Al Nichol lead guitarist and Chuck Portz bass.. Great song,I remember playing this non stop in 1967. Like all of the Tutles 45's it should have been a hit.
The Turtles' version is the original. It's kind of surprising that they would be doing this song next to stuff like Eight Miles High or Paint It Black, it was a pretty obscure song even when it came out.
This is just pure amazing. Psychedelic Rock mixed with Hindustani Classical to make Raga Rock, it's just pure mind-blowing stuff!!!
