  • This is just pure amazing. Psychedelic Rock mixed with Hindustani Classical to make Raga Rock, it's just pure mind-blowing stuff!!!

  • @texecution Yes, this was written by the Turtle's Al Nichol lead guitarist and Chuck Portz bass.. Great song,I remember playing this non stop in 1967. Like all of the Tutles 45's it should have been a hit.

  • That is some weird shit and I love it (anything with guys from the Wrecking Crew is going to be good, right?).

Now I gotta go listen to some other Folkswinger tracks.

  • Glad you liked it. Maybe I'll post some other tracks from the album when I get a chance.

  • Thanks for the comment. I've heard The Turtles' version - was that the original or were they covering someone else?

  • The Turtles' version is the original. It's kind of surprising that they would be doing this song next to stuff like Eight Miles High or Paint It Black, it was a pretty obscure song even when it came out.

  • @CornyPoopDude Great Turtle song not often one hears a 5/4 beat combined with a 3/4 beat..
