There is also a another way its less accurate but is possible males tend to have a broader head and smaller body with a bigger tail females are the exact opposite small head big body short tail.

i have a question. . . i want to take my bearded dragon out of its cage so i can check but i havent taken it out in over a year now and everytime i even open the top of his cage he freaks out. . . how do i get him comfortable enough to where he knows i can take him out of his cage without harming him? i relly wanna know cuz i wanna walk round with him and play with him. plz plz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz answer this question. thx u!

You dont need to bend the tail all the way back onto his back to sex your dragon. You run the risk of breaking him at the tailbone.You can lift the tail at 90 degrees and tell, if you know what you are doing.
