  • i am getting a dog like that. shoot :)

  • Do you guys use hidden sleeves or muzzles?

  • @POLICEWorkingK9

We do not train with muzzles but we do train with hidden sleeves. Bites are the same on hidden or exposed sleeves.

  • that dog is awesome. his drive is so strong.

  • ive got a dutch shepherd , and im trying to train to the basics , and whens she is old enough protection.. but im not sure how i wuld do thaht O__o

  • I barely have the skills to teach a dog to sit, nevermind all that kind of stuff. Amazing work. I'd probably be too afraid to send my dog into a situation in case he/she got hurt.

  • what haooens when your knocked out, the dog wont attack because you wont give him the command???????

  • That was horrible

  • why is the one with sleeve has a stick?

is it for beating the dog if its get out of control?

  • @1908edison

Not at all, he has what is called a bamboo clatter stick. It is a lightweight stick cut into four sections that makes alot of noise when you shake it. You NEVER strike the dog with it. You simply pretend like you are going to by bringing it down over the dogs back making noise. It just conditions the dog to the fact that the person he is biting will be fighting back.

Dont ever hit a dog, its the fastest way to ruin your relationship with him/her

  • @eaglessj it depends on the meathod. Some trainers do hit the dog with it. It doesnt hurt the dog, all it does is make the dog realize that the object poses a threat.

  • respect

  • Cool Vid Dude! Shepherds are awesome!

  • I wish I had that K-9

but what if someone had a weapon? like a gun?

    gun vs dog... Gun x.x"

  • Thats cool! ;D

but in real situations where someone has a gun equals dead dog =(

  • Thats cool! ;D

but in real situations where someone has a gun = dead dog =(

  • I love your dog! How did you train him besides whats on this video?

  • K9 training is great for dogs working but not for dogs in a family enviroment...to many things can happen. I have a shepherd and she is not trained to attack but due to her attachement to our family I assure you she will.

  • @007dawn

99 times out of 100 this is just wishful thinking. she may bark and act defensive but I assure you that this is simply out of fear not out of confidence. if you do not believe me buy or borrow a bite sleeve or simply wrap the arm in a thick towel and have a stranger to the dog attempt to come into your home and harm you. you will see that she will most likely bark, act pissed and that will be about the extent of it. i would have thought the same as you before i did this line of work

  • My dog now, a German Shepherd/Rott mix-116 lbs, will knock you down on command and proceed to lick your face off...

My Akita on the other hand, could not be stopped from going for the face everytime. He was a terrific friend. RIP

  • Good training but on other videos i have seen dogs protect there owners

    thanks

  • Yes but think of a situation when maybe a friend comes over and punches you in the arm or trips and falls into you. You dont want the dog to think on his own then and attack them. That could cause serious problems. There will never be a time when I cant give him the command to attack.
