yo, i've got a question. If i make a video and upload it, and also watch other GZ MG630 video's it has 2 black stripes on both sides, Right and the left side. How did u cut this and make it like this quality?

Hey there, awesome shots. I just have a question I'm hoping you can help me with. I just picked up this camera but I'm a bit dissapointed with the sound quality. I get a loud whirring sound over my audio, like I'm standing next to a loud computer or something, yet when I did my test recording I was in a quiet room. Is there a setting I need to change for this?

Great video have had this camera over a year now and love it. I am new to Sony Vegas pro 9. But for some reason when I save a video it wont allow me to view later saying video produced with extension.sfk and windows 7 does not recognize it. Any idea why any assistance would be appreciated. On the camera do you operate ultra fine or fine with 16/9 ratio?

hey, did GZ-MG630 got the time-lapse REC function? I read it in JVC everio website that all model had it, but it seems mine doesn;t hv any. should I update the version? wheres the downloadable update?

I have the same camcorder as this but cant get wide screen uploads on YouTube, how did you get this video to do so? Thanx

@casio1200 Well first check the aspet ratio on the camera. If it is not set it to 16:4 or something like that. Now if this didn't fix anything then she made it widescreen with a software by rendering it to HD. Most video softwares do this but not I movie and WMM

What editor did you use? And what were the settings? I find this video quality far better than the rest, and this is making it hard to decide on buying this camera or not...

thanks for posting. i just got bought this model today and i can't wait 'till it's charged up for my first use. i mainly bought this model for the remote control feature that only jvc seems to have.

Just got this cam for Christmas and have yet to unbox it - I'm debating whether or not to return it for the HD version (for another $300). The picture quality on your tests is actually better than I expected. I noticed some trouble focusing when zoomed in tight on the flower- was that manual or auto? Thanks for posting, this has helped!

Why is this video way better quality than other tests? I'll just asume the other tests were as soon as they got it and didnt bother changing settings and such

Its not only the camera. Editing can be great for bad camera´s.

Play with your settings and you get great clips.

How comes you've got such good footage but all the other videos are such bad quality?

Also, did you use the editing software that came with the camera? (How is it?) Or did you convert the files? If so, how did you convert them?

i have this camera and i just export the videos with the everio media browser and edit with adobe premiere its a great camera and recommend to use manual settings instead of auto

I just bought the same camera but my quality is defenetly not that good..

but why... and how do you put this up on hd??

I upload my videos via USB with this everio media browser. But somehow the quality is not even a quarter as good as yours... Its on ultra fine, 16/9 and I unchecked the "picture brightening modus" and the quality is a BIT better.... im really desperate... btw my latest video is an example for the quality... Maybe its bcoz of the auto focus or coz its night

When you produce the movie, you choose MPEG-2 and HD 1080i. That should do it.

Power Director is a Cyberlink program--you can google it. And you simply tell it to create a 1080i file when you produce the video.

This is pretty much straight off the camera. I just resized it via PowerDirector 7.
