  • ryanair don't care campaign

  • Check out the Ryanair Don't Care campaign which is dedicated to exposing exploitation and recruitment-scamming at Ryanair. Thousands of new recruits have their contracts terminated at extremely short notice, while Ryanair pocket the 3,000 euro training fee. Don't get scammed!

  • i thought ryanair training consisted of being able to process a passengers credit card

  • ChavAirline

  • hey, like I said, Ryanair is no Southwest Airlines. If Southwest ever decided to enter Ryanair's markets, Ryanair would be toast. Southwest knows and understands the concept of 'service'. Even on Ryanair's best day, they couldn't come close to the professionalism and service offered by Southwest.

  • It's all in how you handle it. And it's all in how you train your employees to work with customers. I GET safety, and I understand government safety agencies that are often autocratic in defining rules.

But this was a mother trying to console a scared/screaming child and the stewardess was more committed to the flight schedule than helping a mother deal with a trying issue. Like I said before, you're no Southwest Airlines.

  • I was in the August class of 2010, well one of the training providers. We also trained at the hahn facility in Germany. Did you eat out at the mexican restuarant near the accomodation flats?

  • HAHA sad bitches they dont even work for an airline

  • F these guys. If I weren't a gentlemen, I would have punched the stewardess that forced my two and a half year old daughter into a seat, against her wishes of sitting in her mothers lap. That this a lovey video and not focused on customers speaks volumes.. You're no Southwest Airlines

  • @ElCidTx Sir, this is a matter of safety. Being that your daughter is over the age of 2, she is required by the FAA to sit in her own seat during taxi, takeoff, landing, and whenever the seatbelt sign is illuminated. These rules are in place for a reason. If there was to be an emergency, your wife and daughter would be alot safer in thier own seats, due to the size of your daughter. I understand that it can cause distress to MANY families, and children who are understandably scared. Thanks :)

  • Required by the FAA?

Europe isn't part of the Federal Aviation Administration. We follow and train to JAA standards (Joint Aviation Authority) and for ryanair in particular the IAA.

Plus each country have their own aviation authority which follows the standards set out by the JAA and the montreal convention (ICAO).

Safety is regulated by the independant states in europe which follows the guidelines set out by either the JAA or ICAO.

  • @ElCidTx

You're child was 2 and half. Which means they must be seated in their own seat. If there is an emergency landing, you won't be able to hold the brace position with a child as big as a two year old on your lap. Its not to cause you hassle, and yes, some crew aren't very polite about it, and to be honest, I wouldn't want my child crying in a seat beside me, but if it saved her life if we crash landed, I'd be delighted the air hostess got me to put her in a seat and not in my lap.

  • @ElCidTx Im sorry but what kind of gentle man even admits the thought of "would have punched the stewardess" its passengers like you........ rude , arrogant and expects to be treated like the only passenger on the flight thats makes these cabin crew rude and have little tolerance for the likes of you!! Yes RYR are a "no frills airlines.....they are no southwest airline.......there a cheap airline......if you dont like it .......fly with southwest airlines simple!!!
