I am new to the whole wig wearing thing, but my hair is baby fine and honestly i am wanting to give my hair a bit of a break and wear a wig full time. So i need something that is realistic looking/feeling. Med Brown colorish. Im very fair complected so finding a good color without washing me out is good lol. Lace front wigs look great but scare me on being able to do them. Can ya guide me a bit?

@MsJenBolin they aren't scary at all - especially these heat-safe synthetic ones because they aren't so much of a financial commitment and you don't have to glue them. I'd say the two I have in this video are awesome - it just depends on how long you want to go. If you're worried about being washed out, I'd say go for a medium brown with some highlights. on the house of beauty world site i think the hl473 is a nice color or the color i got - the 4/27/30 which is a golden brown.

i bleached my hair blond last year. i have really tight curls. girl, my hair got SO thin ang kept breaking. i lost my curls. i JUST got them back. trust me...if you are going to bleach. DON'T DO IT!!!...this lace is very nice on you. <3

@latrigi14 I ended up bleaching it and am now kind of regretting it. it's starting to fall out - not sure if it's stress or the color or just an unfortunate combo of the 2...i'm gonna give it a few weeks. if it gets worse i'll dye it back and let it grow out. but i HAD to try. ive wanted to be blonde for so long!

You can blowdry it down if you want a side part and you can apply light heat to synthetic hair but first kinda wet the hair and then, light heat straighten it with a electric flat iron..

@GinaL514 gotcha! yes - i used a flat iron on the bobbi boss. my iron doesnt have temperatures on it - just settings. i think i used it on like setting 30 out of 45.

I also have a Beverly Johnson lace front "Pearl" in 4/27/30. How do you avoid the shine that the lace gives in the front? When you go out in the sun...the lace is noticable because it is shiny. My natural hair is the same color as yours and my skin color is like yours. Help me get rid of the shine. I cut the lace the same as you did, but the shine is there by the part.

@CassandraChisolm i actually try to cut it so no lace is showing beyond the hairline at all. i like zigzag in between the hairs with tiny scissors to get as much of it off as possible. since i dont glue them i dont need any extra lace hanging. and i put a cornrow across the top of my had to the combs have something to slip into and dont move.

okay. one more question. How is the hairline? Is it thinner in the front for a more natural look or is the density the same all the way through? I just purchased my first lace front, the ozone aplus gabrielle, last month from "lhb" and the hairline is awesome (posted a review). I was looking at buying this one from a wholesaler, but i am hesitant b/c I've never tweezed a lace front b4. That is a pretty fair amount of lace in the front. If u look at LHB's website now though, they have a lot more new wigs &the brand O Zone [aka A Plus, I believe(?)] has wigs w/ 3.5 inches of lace in the front!

I think since you're getting it in a more natural color then yes it will fool people:) especially because of the length - it's not too long so it's not overly dramatic and since theres so much lace in front you can really get a good part in it. i think you'll be happy with it. im still wearing mine and will wear it out tomorrow. what other one are you gonna buy???

I had no idea that you want blonde hair! Do you mean like super blonde (like Mary J Blige or Lady Gaga ?) or like the color you have on now ? I absolutely love you with long hair. It really becomes you. You are picking out really good wigs and they look realistic. I am VERY critical about fake looking wigs so definitely take what I am saying as a HUGE compliment! With this wig you don't really need your baby hair down because there is so much lace and the hair line is cut properly. Nice job!

@MrsLogic13 i love this color!!!! i was thinking i wanted more of a tyra banks/leona lewis ashy light brown with blonde but i'd be happen with the goldeness of this too a color like this might be more easily achieved because the base wouldnt have to be lightened. i think i might order another one!!! maybe in just brown and then maybe another vesion of blondish. im sooooo excited!!!
