I've owned both a Mercedes Benz S500 and a Jaguar XJ8. They are both powerful luxury cars. I would see 20 S-series Mercedes-Benz cars every week and nobody ever stood beside my MB staring at it. I see one Jaguar XJ8 about once a month if I'm lucky and I have people honking, staring, and coming up to me all the time with my Jag. Again, they are both excellent high performance sports sedans, but the Mercedes makes people yawn and the Jag makes people drool. Pretty simple difference.
That's the power of being the under dog. Jag has been snubbed for years now because of past reputation. Now they have re-positioned themselves with the XF and continue to make other quality models (excluding the X-type)
Jag being the under dog, looks opulant and refreshing in a world of MB and BMW burnout....
i never ever had a Desire to a car like i have for this one. I will buy it no matter what's the next version of it... i will buy this 2009. If they are going to make it less classic... it will lose it's value
Oh my god! You can't say Lamborginis are better... Those car are totally different... every car has its own qualities, the Lamborghini is more for fast driving and accelerating, the Jaguar´can go fast too, but it's much more luxurious than the Lambo. Jaguar smells better either... My meaning.
