Ramen, or noodle soups, came from China! And in Japan they use mostly pork stocks or seafood flavors as base.... but the best Ramen flavors are in Taiwan actually, where they use beef flavors. Those who have tasted can all swear by it.
@ECBanker i do love taiwanese ramen, it's outstanding, the beef is frankly delicious...but in my opinion, japanese people did perfectionate the art of making pork charsiu ramen which i understand why is everyone's favorite (word of a ramen enthusiast) and according to my taste..the best.
although my fav one is spicy korean seafood ramen.

well, it is definitely bird meat (you can see the neck), and he does say "niwatori" at some point there, which means chicken... But I don't speak the language, so I can't be certain if it fits the right context.
the best ramen are from seafood dashi, and nombu. and it needs to be clear.

he says:
niwatori ni tsudzuite kondo wa aigamo
which means
after the chicken comes the aigamo
according to the JWPce dictionary:
aigamo = cross between a mallard and domestic duck
